I had been using these for a while and found them to be really easy to use but the last few packs have a been a nightmare to use, the holder gets stuck so you can’t push it up to use the next lot of gel. Won’t be using them again if this keeps happening as they’re not cheap!! Show details

I have used for years, been good, but the last refill we bought is much softer and lasted 75% less . Seems they have changed the formula. Hope this isn't a money grab from a massive company. Very unsatisfactory. Show details

A good product that has turned into rubbish – The formulation has obviously changed (I assume to save costs and sell a greater volume of product) over recent months and they now dissolve very quickly. This must be the household chemical sector's version of shrinkflation. Show details

This is a great product – I don’t know if it works with cleaning but I use for the smell. It keeps the bathroom smelling nice and fresh. If you have trouble using the brush, take turns on each side in putting the stamps each time and you will be able to keep your toilet clean using the brush. boast about different fragrances and none of them helped me keep the toilet smelling pleasant. I love the marine and the citrus. Haven’t come across to the other fragrances as yet.

Great scent always in loo! – Have been using these for years now and find them to be great. Always best to clean and dry toilet bowl before application for longer lasting effect. Sometimes degrade slightly faster during heat of Australian Summer, otherwise happy with a few weeks use per disc before needing replacement. I will continue to buy.

One of my favorite – When it s about cleaning the toilet, it s just so hard to not find it disgusting. I love byuing this product as i know i don t really need to got to close to the toilet and don t need to do anything when the product is running out. So, i love it for how simple it is to use and dispose.

Product and supplier not to the standard that cannot be trusted – I have been buying that product in the past for a long time, but it's not the same, standard gone down, way way less,..... I pressed together a ring but the whole gel came out running out, melting out in one go..... I contacted them, the least they could say was that they will give me $10 purchase at my preferred shop (Coles or safeway) then no-more contacts... I already forward the photos to the supplier.

runny mess – I tried for the first time and will definitely be the last time, after placing in toilet bowl, on the second day it started running down the side of the bowl and after the third day it was basically gone, it says 6 weeks on the packaging more like 2 weeks and that is being generous, rubbish product. Show details

What a waste and useless too – Absolutely rubbish, epic fail and a waste of money. This product is just about packaging. Contents are useless. Please don’t buy, it’s not cheap and there are better products out there. Toilet duck should be ashamed to put their name to it. Show details

Smear on the bowl – I have bought these discs since they came on the market. In early September 2023, I had bought several packs of these as I liked the fact I didn’t need to touch them and they smell nice (for a day). and not noticing at first it would flush away in days not weeks as specified on the pack. As these are quite expensive I decided to contact Johnson and Johnson to see if I had bought a faulty batch. They were pleased to be contacted as they wanted to improve their product and made me jump hoops for them with descriptions photos etc., not once but several times and then decided they will send me a voucher. I’ve contacted them and they reply apologetically and again send me emails with apologies but It is now the end of November and this large company has yet to keep its promise. Lol

Such a rip off ☹️ – UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO GIVE IT 1 star ⭐️ to be able to post this review. The lime one smells great. The applicator was tricky . BUT WORST OF ALL THEY ONLY LAST A FEW DAYS!!! A very expensive, pretty ineffective toilet cleanser. Frustrated – Bought this for the first time. Found the instructions very difficult to follow and the tiny pictures of no use at all. Ended up with a huge blob and half the contents of the tube gone! Wouldn't buy it again. Show details

Waste of money – I have been using this product by SC Johnson for few years but since last three lots I bought ,they are inferior to earlier products in that the discs lose shape a couple of days later and starts coming off in large pieces and also "flows"down and forms a gooey sticky mess which eventually disappears with a flush,so only half get used.Previuosly… Read more

it would remain till the disc became a small one like a centimetre or so and new disc applied on top. I tried to give feedback to SC Johnson via "contact us",but they asking too many details like my date of birth(I think age should be enough), actual product codes etc which has been thrown away with the box. I dont want a refund but just let them know so they can improve or check it out. Also please forgive me as the pictures are of two toilet bowls.

So bad surprised it's still on the market – Oh yeah I tried this a long time ago and never since for years. Now I remember why ! This toilet disk thing is completely useless. A giant blob of the whole contents just plopped onto the side of my loo. Yes I was following instructions on the package. Yes I was gentle. Yes I like the fragrance. Too gimmicky and hard to use – As with the many other reviewers, all the gel came out at once when I tried to use it. I tried to push some back into the tube but it was very difficult. My wife complained that the whole house was full of the smell so we cleaned it all off. She also says that it would get washed away when we clean the toilet bowl with a brush. Show details

Very dissatisfied – I can see from other reviews I had the same problem impossible to discharge one disc at a time as suggested in instructions. I too ended up with one huge blob after trying several times unsuccessfully to dislodge one disc. Glad it was on special. Not recommended though I liked the citrus smell. Show details

What a crazy dispenser – This product sounded great when I googled it. Placed the dispenser on the side of the toilet , pushed as the instructions said and whoosh.... the discs came out all at once !!! Dries up so quickly practically making it useless – Dries up if you don't flush in 2 hours. Then it become completely useless. Steer away from this product. Other brands are much more durable and actually works. Put your money else where!

Not fit for purpose – Followed the somewhat unclear instructions implicitly, could not get this thing to leave a "disc" as suggested by the illustrations. The dispenser just squirts a huge uncontrolled blob of goo on the toilet bowl. tried it twice, it seemed to have run out at that point. Cleaned the mess off the bowl, threw the dispenser away. Unable to load the replacement refill – Purchased twin refill but unable to load either of the refills onto the dispenser. Can only get as far as the first button. Something has changed but I can’t see what it could be. Waste of money. Very unhappy Show details

Absolute disappointment Rating Zero! – We have purchased this product for around 18 months now and always at Woolworths in Cannon Hill Qld. The last 2 occasions have been an absolute disappointment, mainly due to your packaging failures. When using the applicator it fails to stop at dispensing one dose at a time and the entire tube is spread into the toilet bowl. We decided to give your product one more try but it also was hopeless.

Why is it the flower of life in our toilet as a gel – My review is the gel that looks like the flower of life. Why is it a flower of life change the design of the gel. I do not like the flower of life being put in a toilet and washed away Show details

Terrible – The idea is good however the product is bad. Most of the gel stays in the bottom of the applicator & only a tiny amount sticks to the toilet. Then if you press the button again nothing more comes out. How ever after the 3rd click you get a big splodge. Maybe they should rename it duck splodge and advertise 2 uses instead of the apparent 6!

A teeny tiny blob of goo – The product is supposed to leave a gel disc. It leaves a tiny blob. Then using the next hole leaves just a greater blob, but most of the gel stays within the dispenser. last long so the drawcard of the Toilet Duck brand was that each disc lasts 7 weeks.... unsure how to gauge that when a proper disc doesn't get dispensed!

Lavender?? – Has made my apartment smell like a toxic waste dump - even with the lid down when not in use. Definitely doesn’t smell like lavender. The applicator and concept however seem like a good idea.
