We were having a bad kettling issue with our 3 year old water heater. The Dux service technician suggested that we should remove the 135L water heater from the wall and tip it upside down in order to remove the sediment build up. Great advice!!

Since we move in 2014 Dux has a few issues and the plumber fixed up, charge a call out fees then 4 years ago when the worse wet weather hit in Victoria and an emergency call out, charge us $1100 for only 10 mins labour and they advice us gonna to be replacement a new one asap but lucky went ok since last year gas price soar and 2 months bill… Read more

charge $1200+. Today, we have a new hot water tank a different brand with a better technology, save energy efficiency. Overall this product was very disappointed. We glad Dux finally RIP

Bad service – I purchased a dux hot water heater late 2023. A few days after instillation the water started to become cooler. I contacted dux for some technical advice if the thermostat could be reset. I was not able to get any help re technical advice. Always some excuse as to why not. I then said I wanted to make a warranty claim as the water had stopped… Read more

heating at all. I was told they would send a representative to have a look and if nothing was wrong I would have to pay for their time. I agreed to this. The rep. arrived without a new thermostat and said he would come back the next day if the problem was the thermostat. He then had a quick look and said nothing was wrong and the problem was with the clock on my power box. The power company came out and found nothing wrong with the power board but checked the thermostat on the heater and found it faulty. Fortunately their technician had a new one and fitted it for me. No problems since. I again contacted dux but they refused to do anything. I am of the opinion that these people would do anything to avoid warranty work.

Worst service ever – on Aug 6 ordered and paid for new hot water system promised installation on Monday 8th August. Installer called on the 8th and advised couldn't do until 12th. Received email from Dux Connect guaranteeing installation 12th August. Called on 12th August after installer advised has not received the unit. Dux connect has had my money $1209 for a week… Read more

and has still not ordered the unit to be sent to installer. I have been without hot water for a week. Absolutely worst service ever through Bunnings ordering hot water system. Recommend you do NOT use these companies

Gas Storage Hot Water System – Built our house in 2000 and the hot water system that was supplied is a Dux gas storage 135L. During this period the HWS has only been serviced once for a pilot light issue. It has now just sprung a slow leak and will need replacing. Not bad for 21 years service. I think the secret has been to set the temperature at a warm setting, not scalding hot, that causes premature failure of the vitreous enamel Show 2 replies

Bought through Bunnings could not fault the customer service and the installation. Brilliant! – Customer service on the phone in Victoria were marvellous the installation person went above and beyond made his job more difficult so as not to disturb my nieces and nephew. After Sales Service On Faulty Hot Water System – 4 years and 3 months ago I purchased a brand new Radiant (manufactured by Dux) hot water system for my rental property. unit was indoors and in pristine condition I felt I had rights as a consumer to have this unit fixed under warranty. Enter Margaret from the Dux aftersales support team. After a bit of too and fro Margaret arranged for a Dux representative to inspect the appliance and the issue was quickly resolved, without charge to myself. Margaret was professional and courteous at all times, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the level of support from Dux and their team. I would not hesitate to buy a Dux unit again based on my experience. Well done Margaret and the team!

Shity Dux Heat Pumps – I have also had many problems with my system. Overall repair costs ended up being greater than replacing it with a different type of hot water system. There seems to be hundreds or possible even more Dux hot water systems in the same boat just a crappy a substandard product. THEM KNOW OF THERE PROBLEMS AND THAT A COPY IS ALSO FORWARDED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FAIR TRADING.

THEN IF ENOUGH PEOPLE TAKE THIS ACTION THIS WILL HOPEFULLY MAKE DUX ACCOUTABLE FOR THERE SUBSTAND CRAPPY HOT WATER SYSTEMS.

WE THE END USERS ARE SUFFERING THROUGH OUR POCKETS.

DUX HAVE GOT THERE MONEY FROM US AND WE HAVE THERE PROBLEMS

Stay away from this company!! – We have been in our new home for 3 years to the day. We have had work done on this twice at our expense and for the last 6 months the water has been around 30 degrees in the morning even now when the overnight temperature was 19. Their so called 5 year warranty is NOT EXISTENT!!!!

this model, and needs to be investigated, but, the main thing that was said out of warranty,were is the integrity for their products,, yes you can expect issues, but three times in five years, is ridiculous!

very pleased – Dux was extremely helpful when i bought their hot water system through another retailer who had not informed Dux of the order. Dux was on to everything very quickly and completely. The subcontractors they used (in Brisbane) were very efficient and not at all the usual messy, late, condescending tradesmen. I was very impressed with how hard they worked to get everything fixed at the earliest opportunity. I would certainly deal with them again  Show reply

parts" You have put your names on these goods! You are responsible for your supply chain! You need to get your staff up to date with statutory and implied warranties.

I'm going to consumer affairs and I will seek to find how many other people have been impacted to prove this is a known fault with your goods which you need to either recall or offer a full repair and replacement service for.

The fact that this one product review site has so many complaints is an indication that there are serious issues with your product.
