Today I spoke with Jesse, a TCL technician regarding a small problem with my near new television which I am extremely happy with so far. The problem was with the program guide, whereby the date would change and all information regarding channels would disappear. Jesse talked me through the problem and we fixed it so I would recommend this Company and their back up technical support as well. Well done TCL. Show reply

unfortunately but my advice to everyone want to buy this TV think again and spend extra couple of hundreds to buy decent brand , finally I don’t recommend it at all because the life expectancy for this brand not more than 4 years not like other brand I had before for nearly 15 years , even the local tv technician told me he get 2-3 tv a day having the same issues, Please take my advice and stay away from TCL thanks

Had received this $6000 TCL tv as a gift about 2 years ago. It died, blue lines and grey notches on the screen Contacted TCL and provided the serial nr which can id how old TV is. I had a problem with my 65" TV Optical Port. When removing the cable from the Port, it was very tight, and when I actually removed it, the shutter broke. Very disappointed with TCL televisions. I’ve had to perform manual updates and was asked to repeat them just to fix sound issues, and the TV still underperforms. I’ve never needed to do these kinds of updates with any television. Customer service has been extremely frustrating. Would not recommend.
Follow-up · A technician initially attended but was unable to complete the update and advised a new board was required. This was later installed and the update carried out; however, the same issue remains and the TV is still not up to date. I am now waiting for a third technician visit, and the sound issues are still ongoing. It has now been over 6 months… Read more

Follow-up · Process took a couple of weeks but was kept informed all the way, do not know what caused the fault but my other tcl unit in dining area has had no problems and is much older than the screen that had fault. Installation was not included but faulty unit picked up at my home and replacement delivered at same time

communications with TCL and they always followed up within 48 hours. They were courteous and thoughtful. They offered me to return the TV or accept the TV with an extended warranty. I was happy to accept the extended warranty. I was able to repair the damage myself to my satisfaction. The thing I like about TCL is that they never once gave me the impression that they were not going to help me resolve this issue to my satisfaction.

through some possible fixes. After a few things didn't work Corey finally advised me to try to reset the tv to factory settings, which would be drastic as we would need to re-enter all our information but it was worth a try, and lo and behold, it worked! I want to thank Corey so much for his patience and excellent customer service that helped my elderly parents avoid having to incur an extra expense that they couldn't afford. Thankyou Corey and thankyou TCL for having a product that was able to be repaired rather than send straight to landfill.

Customer service is clearly not based in Australia. They have terrible communication and cannot complete simple tasks of replacing a faulty product in a reasonable timeframe. I have now been without a tv for 3 weeks and need to wait for it to be sent from interstate. Would not recommend or buy again.
