the length of the stick unclip the rubber hose from it and click your attachment direct to rubber hose, simples do my cars all the time. The catcher is smaller but if you vaccuum regularly it s fine i have a big house with 2 border collies. if you leave it for month then yes it might take 2 empties.

Regret regret regret – This miniature vaccume is heavy and hard to maneuver. The head doesn't fit in a lot of the tighter spaces like corners or under chairs, tables ect. is more or less unusable, at about a meter long, it can only be used where there is enough space, and there is no way to shorten it or use the attachments with the hose. Forget about cleaning your car with this thing. The attachments are cheap and flimsy. I found that the main head didn't pick up nearly as much fine dirt as my cheaper Vaxx machine, despite the stupidly high levels of suction. The dust catcher is so small you'll need to empty it after every room. This is just completely inferior compared with some of the more affordable competition. Dyson should be ashamed to have their name on it. How it gets so many good reviews is completely beyond me. Either those reviews are sponsored or the people writing then have no idea what they're talking about. To top it all off, you pay 400 bucks for a product, you expect a manual in the box. Skimping out on this kind of thing to save a buck on each unit is a sign a wider problems at Dyson. No wonder the build quality sucks. I don't buy the "it's for the environment" tag line. It's a paper booklet...it's one of the few things that comes in the box that actually can be recycled. Next year it'll be a subscription fee to use the power head feature.."for the environment". Hey Dyson, wanna help the environment? Plant some trees. What a joke. This was the first and last time I buy from Dyson. I'm sending it back for a refund.

phenomenal. I have both carpet and tiles. It gets very close to the skirting boards BUT:- - It is HEAVY to push around, especially on carpet. - The plastic looks very flimsy and you have to be careful not to pull/push too hard in case some little part breaks and there goes the vacuum cleaner.

In all honesty if I'd tried this at a shop - I wouldn't have bought it.

Great for pet hair – Four long haired pets and building works going on and this vacuum just cut right through it. I am super impressed. on the carpet, the plaster dust on the rugs and easily transitioned to the floorboards. It is actually much quieter than all my other Dysons and, despite the amount of fur there was almost none on the motorhead. This upright has a cord (not retractable) but I'm sick of batteries running out when I'm vacuuming. Vacuum is small so it takes up hardly any room and I love the wand, just having issues attaching the tool holder. I was also very lucky to get this on sale.

Wow! What a great buy – We got this vacuum today, I had some doubts after the last dyson we owned hardly lasted long (stick vacuum) but this is incredible. I can't believe how much dust it picks up! Fantastic Vaccuum – I bought this only a few days ago, and OMG- it's FANTASTIC! We'd already vac'd that morning, but our old floor Dyson, approx 12+ years old, was falling apart - having lived through a year long extension etc... it had been battered. footprint, fantastically long cord, easy pull-out handle to a 4m extension to use under things or up high.. Yes, we have cats and a non shedding dog, and being pets, they just make a mess! lol. Don't think I've ever been so happy with an appliance, it worked just great on our floorboards as well as our rugs and was super easy to empty as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Your carpet isn't clean until you use this Dyson – We thought the old Hoover wasn't cleaning properly, it had good suction but seemed to leave a lot of fur and stuff behind. Bought this Dyson and never thought we had so much hair, fluff and dirt still in the carpet. This is a life changing cleaning machine! – I've had this for a week now - when it first arrived I used my old vac first, so I could see what else came out of the carpets, and it was a LOT. and it's so easy to empty. I had read reviews that it's heavy - well, it's not (I'm used to carrying 25kg bags of chook food, so this is less than half that). It's easy to carry up the stairs, I love the fact that it is an upright, and it stands neatly in a corner, ready to remove fur at a moments notice. My previous vacuum was an expensive Electrolux pet vacuum that just moved the fur around and became clogged. This does what it promises after one or two swipes over any area. And it has pulled embedded dirt from between floorboards and even out of the grout between tiles. I would say that this is the best vacuum I've ever had - and it's especially good at preventing the floating rafts of fur I have become accustomed to floating across the floor since I became a dog person.

This is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever! – My previous vacuum cleaner of 10 years died, and I decided to replace it with the same brand. This one is more powerful and easy to maneuver, I love the fact that the head is smaller and fits perfectly in smaller places. The cord is longer which means I can nearly do my whole house in one go! Show reply
