Gtreat, love it – Bought this for my tv to replace my older model edifier speaker, so glad l did, the sound is excellent with a bit of bass, plenty enough for a tv, the sound is quite far reaching in the room, l looked around for this speaker after reading some reviews as l knew l wanted an edifier speaker again just not which model, when l seen this from JW Computers on ebay at an excellent price, by far the cheapest l had seen, most were around the $135 mark, so l saved over $20.00 from JW, could not be happier.
Great product for a great price – I was looking around for a pair of PC speakers. I want to have more power and a bit of a boom sound as well. Most products out there are small, weak (about 5w) and there is no way to get any decent bass. I want to spend around $100. Some products are too bulky with a subwoofer. Some well-known brands offer a compact bluetooth single set of speakers in one unit at $300 mark. I did not want any until I found this product on Ebay with a discount. I got it for $79 (the normal price is about $105 - $120). Each set of speakers is not too big 14cm x 23cm x 16cm (depth). There are 2 sets of speakers. The sound is excellent and comparable to the units costing around $300. This unit has built-in amplifier at 42w. The bass is actually very good considering it does not have a subwoofer. If you hear the sound without looking at it, you would think it has a small subwoofer! It has bluetooth, remote control (on/off, bluetooth, line-in, mute, pause/play, back/forward and sound volume), PC in, AUX in, bass control knob, input volume control knob and microphone input knob.
Now the sounds from my PC come out nearly like those from a hifi amplifier with a decent set of stereo speakers (full range of sounds, great for classical music and pop and old rock'n roll). At 42w power, it can deliver pretty strong boom sound for heavier music types and more than one would want for a bedroom. I play mainly classical and pop and the bass is enough to make my desk rumbling. It's fantastic.
I think the fact that it has 2 sets of speakers give it better sounds than those single set of speakers at $300 out there. For those who are very tight in desk space, they can just use the main set of speakers (with power amplifier) via bluetooth to get mono sound with 1/2 of the total power (21w).
Hopefully the built quality is also good and it will last. Only time will tell but so far I am happy with a bargain price and performance much like products 3x more expensive.
