Works pretty well for small apartment. However the cord to recharge the battery is very flimsy and broke quickly. Getting a replacement required an hour trying to get the web site to work, and then giving up and phoning. That required two calls as the first call gave me the wrong ordering site. It seems that Electrolux can not recognise any model numbers or part numbers. You have to call a human and then they can tell you what the part number is. Very annoying.

I love this vac! I have a low shedding dog in an apartment that gets dusty daily and this vac just had such great suction, great choices for power and is super easy to clean. I thought the light was a stupid addition but it's actually really helpful. When you unlock the bin, the filter on the top protects you from all of the captured dust which is great because it makes empyting a mostly dust free experience. The charging station is bulky that's the only downside. I can clean 5 rooms with rugs really easily with the same battery.

Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $339.

I bought a vacuum cleaner on line and picked it up from the Good Guys. The Electrolux website says the 'battery will last up to 40 minutes on low mode for non-stop cleaning.' It does not say how long it lasts on medium or high modes. It lasted about 15 minutes before needing a re-charge. As the re-charge is claimed to be 2.5 hours, I had to finish the job with my old pull along cleaner. I rang Electrolux to buy another battery and after 20 minutes of explaining I didn't want the battery or cleaner checked, the friendly agent gave me a phone number for a Queensland Supplier. But the supplier doesn't sell batteries. At the moment, 'the Electrolux warehouse team will contact me when they get supplies of this battery.' I think the cleaner is good for small jobs, not a whole house clean.

Follow-up  · Warranty would be mandatory one year. To answer questions: It's easy to empty once you get the hang of it. It's not very loud. Just normal motor noise. About the batteries: Electrolux refuses to supply a spare battery. If my battery fails, it will replace it under warranty, so it does have them. This cleaner is for cleaning a spilt powder, or crumbs. I wouldn't bother with less than full power. It is useless for cleaning more than half a room. I barely use it now, I use my pull along with its powerful motor and extension cord.
