Very Happy – Bought this oven more than 9 years ago and if it wasn’t because of kitchen renovation. I wouldn’t have changed it at all. My oven worked beautifully, no light problem, no pyrolytic problem, no door not close properly etc as some people had encountered. I only used my pyrolytic once a year and I took really good care of it and the telescopic… Read more
slides slide smoother than my current NEFF oven. Very happy with this Electrolux EPEE63CS oven. I understand that people who received lemon products especially expensive products will put their reviews out, some even put them twice to vent their frustration. Sad to see that people who are happy with the product don’t write a review for it.
$2000 wasted when optioning up during building – As I desperately wanted a pyrolytic oven I paid extra to my builder to get this oven (they usually only upgrade with Electrolux) and since it was installed in 2012 it’s been nothing but problematic. Hot and cool spots, things taking way to long to heat compared to other ovens and now the element is broken and it’s too costly to fix (we’re obviously past warranty). Looks like we’re not to only ones with issues. Show details

Whilst we've had this oven for 12 years it's barely been used as we live in Queensland and it's too hot to eat hot food. The backplate has completely corroded off and the fan is fully exposed. The oven cost close to $3000 when we bought it and while I don't think appliances should last forever, this oven is Dangerous. I contacted Electrolux to see… Read more

Couldn't be happier! – Having previously owned an Electrolux electronic oven, and loving it, I didn't hesitate to overlook the bad reviews and buy this. I absolutely love it. No problems so far, and I'm really impressed with the performance. It does not put out much heat into the kitchen, the door stays cool, and the cooking is very even and reliable. I have not needed to run the Pyro clean yet.
Customer care – Most of my home has Electrolux appliances and I have experienced some issues with them, but I can say the customer service to fix any item is second to none. I don't understand those who have issues cant get it resolved. All I can say is contact them directly, put tour concerns in writing and them will respond. It is no good just complaining without having all the information required and to a web site. Simply the best. Show reply
A good Oven – Hey everyone, Ive had this oven for a while now, nearly 2 years (and some spare time!) so I thought i'd catch up on some reviews of this and other products. Although an expensive oven, I love the pyro function and the fast heat up, I mainly use the grill and fan oven settings, and occasionally the baking setting for pizza stoneetc.. I really like… Read more
the telescopic rails, and the triple glass, as my little one is forever touching when on, without a burn in site. so far so good, we will see how long its last past warranty.... telescopic shelves, triple glass, pyro function, fast heat up. no child lock.

Cost a fortune and get Error F02 – This oven cost a fortune, bought mainly for the pyro cleaning feature, however, used that once in the past 4 years, and get Error F02, with no workable solution for it in the manual. According to other reviews this is a known problem with the Electrolux Ovens, occurring for no reason! What’s the point of spending money on a feature in an Oven that… Read more
is unusable? I believe this to be a product fail so you buy a new one or pay for repairs. Consumer Law should be put on it! I will not buy Electrolux again.
Disappointed – Purchased an Electrolux 63cs wall mounted double oven just over 4 years ago. Recently both ovens completely stopped heating. Emailed Electrolux customer care.....No response. Got a repair service man out to assess. Apparently a fairly common fault with these ovens. I am told the oven needs a new control board and because they are putting that in… Read more
it also has to have a new display screen to be compatible. $700.00 plus. Pretty disappointed as I would expect to get a lot longer out of product before having to repair or replace. Also customer care service has been non existent in our case. Don't think we will buy another Electrolux appliance.
If I could give less than 1 star I would – It worked fine for 3-4 years until the "power board" blew and when I called electrolux to come fix it, they said it's a $180 call out fee + parts. I checked online and a "power board" is usually between $120-$200. Guy came and fixed it today and got slapped with a $550 bill. Absolutely shocking. For that price plus a little more I could have gotten myself a brand new oven. NEVER BUYING ELECTROLUX AGAIN. Show details

Oven door issues – I wish I had seen reviews on here before I purchased this oven 3 years ago. I have had exactly the same issue with the hinges and door not closing properly. I had a service technician from Electrolux out to look at it. $145 to tell me it is because the door has had pressure put on it and just needs to be 'bent' back into place by placing a towel… Read more
or similar in between the bottom of the door and carefully pushing on the door to bend hinges back into place. I have never placed any pressure on the door or placed anything heavy on it. I did as the technician said and carefully pushed the door back into place. The first 3 times were ok but on the 3rd attempt the inner glass panel shattered. Luckily I was not hurt as the towel was covering it. I rang Electrolux to find that I cannot get a replacement glass panel or hinges as they have stopped making this model. They offered $300 towards purchasing another Electrolux oven. My husband is livid and said we will never purchase another Electrolux product again! The oven itself functioned well but the design of the door was very poor. I am very angry with my dealings with Electrolux and wont be taking them up on their offer. I will be purchasing another oven that has a 5 year warranty.
Oven Door Not Closing – Have been happy with the oven in general in terms of functions. However, mechanically it is terrible. After 2-3 year the door has been falling of hinges to the point where there is a large gap and the 'door open warning' is always on. First time I spoke to Electrolux, the offer a technician at $150 for the first 15mins.. The did not… Read more
recognise any design issues / flaws and have just had to live with it. I gave up on electrolux support they were unhelpful and appeared disinterested in solving my concerns.
Looking to replace the oven now with a Bosch or other more reputable brand as the cost or repairs are better put to a new oven as Electrolux still do not accept a design issue. What we have worked out is the door hinges are fine, but there mounting points pull forward on the main casing. Suspect Electrolux do not want to address this...
Door fails to close properly – I too have the same problem for years. The door fails to close properly. I have to prop it closed with a chair to make it work. I thought that the hinges must have been damaged by someone leaning on the door, but I have replaced the hinges with new ones, but the door still fails to close properly. Show details
oven door and oven light faulty – Have similiar problems oven door does not close properly and exspensive oven light fails every 1 to 2 years. Should have had a spring loaded lock. Temperatures as a result are uneven and has the potentential to burn you when reaching for buttons above open door. Could so easilly have been a good oven. My recommendation is spend your $2,300 with someone else Show details

Problem from beginning – I'm really disappointed with this expensive purchase. The oven door has never closed properly after 3 service visits to adjust it. The element has been replaced, the globe , and have only been able to use the pyrolitic function once. I prop the door closed now so that it can heat to temp. Don't do any cake cooking, needless to say. Temperature too unreliable. Show details

I initially decided to buy Elextrolux because apparently they manufactured locally. I will never buy Electrolux products again and cannot urge others to do the same strongly enough.
My Electrolux rangehood has also had multiple issues from the start with the lights going out. I've had to have technicians in twice to replace them.
Please heed my advice and stay well away.

Worst products we have purchased in 40yrs – We did a major renovation 7yrs ago and purchased an Electrolux wall oven and ceramic gas cooktop, what a mistake that was. door together with handle bracket cracking so I contacted Electrolux and the ladies answer was it's warranty was up, end of discussion with nil assistance. Whilst getting our Westinghouse refrigerator repaired the technician kindly adjusted the door, that lasted roughly a month before same issue arose
together with bracket falling off telescopic rail.
The cooktop at least cooks well despite burner tops corroding and silver on knobs coming off
I do 95% of our cooking and having worked in the food industry so I know how to maintain and clean equipment.
Our daughters have used the oven when visiting from interstate and say it is the worst oven they have cooked with.
I spoke to a young fellow from Electrolux today and was offered staff discount on replacement parts, what has happened to good old Australian service, not even sending someone to look at the issues I have raised.
Totally disappointed with products and more so with lack of service and care from Electrolux.

Not A Good Oven – I have had this oven just under 4 years and, as the other reviews have stated, the cooking is very uneven, I find I have to crank up the temperature a good 20 degrees hotter than any recipe states and the bottom always cooks faster than the top. The light bulb is impossible to change, it's just blown for the 2nd time and I feel i'm going to smash… Read more

Pyrolytic Function has killed my oven 4yrs later – We originally purchased this oven in Feb 2012 and I wrote a review in Aug 2012 giving this oven 5 stars - this is an update 4yrs down the track... acceptable as the heat should be more evenly distributed. Also we find that the oven tends to need more time cooking compared to what is recommended in recipes so we suspect is losing heat somewhere...
We've never used the pyrolytic function but after 4yrs decided we should try this out. BAD MOVE! I chose the medium function which goes for 2.5hrs. It started off well but then half way through the oven display suddenly went all black - as we've not done a pyrolytic clean before, I thought this may be part of the cooling process. There was also a funny toxic smell lingering and I had to keep the rangehood fan on all afternoon to try and get rid of it. After a couple of hours the time display re-appeared and we figured it must be ready again but the door wouldn't open and instead has jammed and looks somewhat crooked. When we try to turn the oven on, the light no longer turns on and an error code "F08" keeps coming up, despite turning off the oven which is what F08 stands for.
For an oven to lose its function over just 4yrs with occasional use is really poor performance, hence my revised review.
Error Code F02 and Pyroclean no longer works – Reasonably happy with this oven overall but I bought this model for the pyroclean function and it only worked once, the first time. It is now 3 years old and out of warranty. Tried it three times since then and no result. Goes for 20 minutes, then shuts down with Error Code F02 and "turn off the oven". Door locks for a while, but this time it… Read more
released itself after about 10 mins. However, no change inside the oven, warm but not cleaned. I can't afford hundreds of dollars repair just for this function. This pyroclean feature is disappointing. Bit of a dud.
dont change the light bulb – New oven EPEE63CS in our new house 3 years ago. we have been happy with the performance of this oven until the bulb blew and I eventually got around to replacing it - should never have tried that! Have had 2 Repairers out to fix it but (after +$300) they have been unable to.
Needless to say, it is out of warranty.
As someone else mentioned - it does look pretty!
I have an Electrolux convection/microwave above this oven in the wall and now want to replace the faulty oven but want it to match the microwave (they do look pretty) but this oven is no longer available.
Don't even think about changing the bloody light bulb - better the dark than the door not closing properly!
Worst expensive mistake ever! – I bought this oven in May 2012, wanting a large internal capacity & pyroltic function. I am usually considered a good cook/baker but, no matter how I tried, everything was burnt on the bottom & uncooked on the top. charged. As I couldn't use the oven at all, I agreed.
The technician was lovely, to give him credit. After testing, he said that the oven was heating to 50 degrees above any set temperature. He had to get permission to replace the thermostat. It didn't work. He brought out his Manager & after a length of time, the manager agreed to changing the electronic boards.
The oven still didn't work properly, with the heat very inconsistent. I was told only to use the fan bake function, not to bother with all the other functions that I'd paid for, and to turn cakes etc during baking. I haven't tried the pyroltic function. I couldn't be bothered arguing the point. I still don't use the oven unless I really have no choice. Instead, I use my convection microwave which achieves much better results.
Really disappointed, wish I'd never heard of Electrolux ovens & will never buy another.

Bulb gone alreay, only used for 10 months! – It seems from reading all of the reviews that this is a common problem. I have two Electrolux ovens, the microwave/combi and the steam oven/combi, so 4 ovens all up. Very disappointed that the bulb has gone already and it looks like it is quite expensive for a new one and not easy to replace! I have only used this oven for just under 11 months...

Disappointed .. Short lifespan! – We purchased this oven 3 years ago after reading the Choice review and recommendation at the time. I have been disappointed with some of the cooking functions; I am an avid baker, but have found that it cooks unevenly, and trays have to be turned constantly when using more than one rack. I think most ovens have hotspots, so I guess this is no different. However disappointed with the roast function.. Tends to steam foods on recommended temperatures.. Have to turn temperature up extremely high to brown or crisp foods.
Several weeks ago the oven stopped working. A visit from a repairman revealed the powerboard needs to be replaced at an estimated cost of $550.
We paid $2,100 for this oven 3 years ago after a lot of research and comparisons with other brands. I also attended one of the demos at Domayne and was impressed by it's many features. At this price, we expected to have it last longer than 3 years before a major repair.
At this point we are hesitating to invest another $550, in case this is their usual lifespan. Unfortunately we would be reluctant to purchase another Electrolux oven, and would advise others to be careful also.

one usually does while using a oven!). I rang electrolux and they said becuase it is more than 2 years old it does not fall under warranty and I will have to cover the costs of repair myself. My question is have they though about the issue of "safety" - what if someone was standing infront of the oven glass or near by and with all the glass spraying everywhere when it blew up?
What got me was that they did not really wanted to assist when I enquired through customer support on numerous occasions, except the line of "if you want, we will send someone out to have a 'look' at it for you for $130".
After 5 years and building 3 houses, and spending over $40,000 on eletrolux products... NEVER AGAIN.
I invite them to come over and let me cook a roast and watch the glass while the roast is cooking.

Best oven EVER – I bought a new oven and spent way over what I meant to. I got an ARISTON oven and was so disappointed with it. I bought it soley for the size. remember...I use my oven every single day and this oven is a joy to use. Easy interface, even my husband who never cooks can manage the settings. Accurate temperature. I had to buy and oven thermometer with the ARISTON but this oven is spot on every time. It heats up fast and the cooling fan is barely audible. The light turns on if you open the oven door even when it's off..for instance to wipe it. It has a timer that is easy to use and will turn your oven on and off when you programme it to but also has a timer that just rings to remind you to check the cake etc. The ARISTON oven time turned off the oven every time so I had to buy a timer as well, to remind me to check a cake or whatever I was cooking.
This oven isn't a steam oven but it cooks moist. Roasts turn out succulent and tender wether I do them medium rare or slow cook them. There is not a fault with this oven except maybe better use of space inside it. The oven is actually a good size but the position of the shelves could have been done to make better use of the space available. Other than that this oven is perfection. I hope they never try to improve or change it...but I'm happy I will have mine for a long time hopefully. Another thing I love is the placement of the light which is at the very top of the front...no matter what you put in the oven you can see it clearly from outside. All my other ovens had "blind spots" that is to say if I put in three trays of cookies I might not be able to see the right or left or bottom depending on the position of the light. this oven is perfection.
Thanks electrolux. Great size. use of internal space could be better, it would be better with three shelves.
Don't buy this oven! – Lasted less than 4 years, had to change the control dials twice, oven door doesn't shut properly so unable to heat oven up to correct temperature, electric timer continue goes off even though it's not even set or switch on!!! and finally it stopped working all together after the fan caught fire at the back of the oven 1 month after the warranty ran out!! Electrolux not interested in fixing the problems.
