Worst purchase EVER – I have wooden floors and sisal rugs. This vacuum lacked suction to pick up a speck of dirt. The roller mechanism on the head fell apart. The roller shed its brushes, the locking mechanism for the movable body broke. I wish I could say this unit sucked but it couldn't even do that. It is discontinued for a reason so this review is for those… Read more

who might find this second hand or be inclined to but another electrolux product. AVOID. I bought a $45 vac from Aldi to replace it, beat it in every aspect and is still going strong.

The worse vac ever – First few months of use no issues. Then the brush ate itself to bits at the end of it. Then then vac hose ate itself to bits requiring a new head costing $250 Then the little screw came out the bottom of it which resulted in me pulling it apart by accident. Total cost over $1000 in purchases and repairs. Would not buy ever again from Electrolux. Show details

Not good for anything – I was so happy when this vac was on special, I bought it after having a barrel vacuum. It last a day, A DAY. I've had it almost 2 years and I still revert back to sweeping my tiles and relying on friends vacuums. Firstly, I don't understand why the small catcher. Yeah, sure, let's empty that every 5 minutes. Doesn't work on tiles, WHATSOEVER. And… Read more

when on carpet, it just spits back all the micro particles and crumbs. As soon as I pick up the unit to put it back at its charging station all the particles and crumbs fall out. My work just gone to waste! It clogs, and I think that's due to the way to big tube inside the vacuum itself. I think that's for the handle, as you can shorted or lengthen the handle for comfort. It makes more mess than it cleans up. The roller is so hard to get out, easy to clean, but a pain to get out. Im really glad I didn't pay full price for this item.

Great product! – This is a very powerful vacuum cleaner & it cleans carpets thoroughly, you can adjust the strength you'd like or leave it to auto-detect the surface it's cleaning. It's adjustable so you can vary the length as you clean different surfaces & comes with multiple attachments for different surfaces (car, top of bookshelves etc). One point I've found… Read more

challenging is washing the filters (it seems better just to buy new filters - will try this going forward). All in all happy with this vacuum, the battery life is great & it has a really useful light at the bottom that alerts you to dust you usually wouldn't see!

Great for giggles – If unclogging a vacuum cleaner every time you have to use it is your thing, then this is the vacuum for you. Designed by people (probably male) who never get the joy of vacuuming a whole house on a regular basis, this cleaner is a joy to use - only if you like being able to vacuum half a house before the battery runs out. Oh, and if you have… Read more

particles that need to be super sucked up - then forget it. Anything bigger that a dust particle and this boy boy lacks the suck most women are looking for. Go for the dyson.

Super impressed – I have a bulldog and a toddler so this vac had its job cut out for it. I have 2 vacuums, one for every day use and one for a weekly good deep clean. I can now say I only need the one. Scored this one in special for $249 and wasn’t expecting too much but the amount of hair and other gory stuff it pulled from my shag rug was incredible. Can’t speak… Read more

to the lifespan as it’s only a recent purchase but suction power and power head are very impressive especially for a stick vac.

Best purchase – Have been looking for stick vacs for awhile, after trying out other brands. I was quite impressed with this particular vac. It doesn't feel plasticy compared to others I looked at and tried. It feels like it's been made with care. I am in love with this vacuum. I wouldn't recommend this particular Vac for somebody who doesn't have alot of… Read more

strength as it is heavy to push around.

I am honestly very impressed with this vacuum, it does a brilliant job pulling the dirt from your carpets. The design is amazing!!

Highly recommend

Electrolux Cordless Powerful Animal vacuum – My dog sheds stiff hair & it's a pain! I tired of dragging a vacuum so shopped for Cordless. Tried some expensive stick models but didn't feel comfortable in my hand for longer use (certainly ok for a quick clean up). Settled on the Electrolux Animal hair model and it's a delight, and by sliding the working part of the vac up or down, I get the… Read more

handle to a height that suits me so no more stooping. It's extremely powerful (you can increase or decrease the power with a button... or leave it on auto - to self-adjust), it's versatile, with swivelling head (and headlights!!) and breaks down to a small hand-held unit for the car or furniture. The animal version is chilli red and does cost about $100 more than the regular model but worth it for me. It parks on its floor-stand to re-charge. So far, very happy.
