Never again. Purchased this vacuum cleaner in December 2022. Now in February 2026 both batteries will not charge. Replacement battery is priced between $270 and $400, depending on where you buy. For a $700 vacuum, you should get longer than 37 months. A Li-Ion Battery should be good for 10 years. A normal lead/acid car battery is good for 4 years. I expected more from Electrolux. Not happy. Show details

Expensive vacuum – Batteries do not hold charge after one year of use, before this the extension tube snap in half were the magnet is, lucky I had the vacuum under warranty so it was repair. Not buying this brand again. Show details

Fabulous Cleaner – Purchased from Godfrey’s who price matched Harvey Norman at $395 in December 2023. Easy to use, great results, love the hard floor nozzle and back up spare battery. Although my shopping experience was not ideal with the manager of Coffs Harbour store the sales assistant, Leila was great!

Batteries Don't Last – This stick has some great features but the batteries don't last anywhere near as long as thwy advertise. You are lucky to get 30mins feom one battery on Min speed. They last a lot less on Auto or Mid speed. Show details

Keep looking this vacuum is not for you! – Had for 12mths and worst purchase, paid close to $600 but should be in the under $100 range. No grunt, sanction or battery life. I have a small home with bamboo floors & carpet and battery can't complete the entire house in one go. Show details

Known fault by Electrolux means it will continue to break – I’ve had to return this for repair three times in a year. First the dust collector wouldn’t fit back on, then the head needed repairing, now they’re replacing it again. Electrolux apparently knew about the fault with the head early on. The connections between two parts needed extra soldering or it failed apparently as the connection would break as… Read more

it bumped into things whilst being used. They were meant to fit any new heads with this improved protection for the connection but guessing mine didn’t. They had a month long wait for a replacement head so I’m assuming mine is coming back with another patch up job. Next is a complaint for a refund if it doesn’t go perfectly. If yours starts with the lights flickering as it goes around. Get ready for the gradual decline where it stops working and the brushes stop turning and therefore it stops picking up. It’s inevitable by the sound of it. Shame they didn’t proactively improve the head then replace them so customers didn’t have to throw out their machines. Outside of that when it works, it’s quite good. Unfortunately it’s spent 3 to 4 months being repaired out of the 9 months we’ve owned it.

Love it! – I am super impressed with this stick vac. I upgraded from an old Dyson stick that was falling apart, so anything was going to beat that, but I am sooo happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research and decided this was the stick vac for me. I wanted a spare battery, changeable heads for carpet and hard floors, an automatic setting where it… Read more

adjusts to suit level of dust, power button that didn’t need to be held on, and a auto brush cleaning function. This model has all of this and more.

The only minor thing that I didn’t like, was the confusion in working out what extras and differences there were between the Reach and Pet models. But a quick trip to Godfrey’s and the salesman helped me work that out. I opted for the Pet model as it came with the extra battery and power heads.

Overall though, it’s still 10 out of 10 from me!

Not a fan – I have used only Dyson for vacuuming in the past 20 or so years however, they are getting a bit too pricey so I thought I would try the Electrolux brand, I love my other Electrolux and AEG products so I figure how bad could it be? According to other purchasers it seemed like a winner. What I liked: Two batteries, no need to constantly hold the… Read more

power button, the stand.

What I didn’t like: Attachments hard to remove, small canister for waste, battery life, suction power, weight.

After using a Dyson stick vac, the power was awful, and I needed both batteries and still couldn’t clean the whole house. Vacuuming the carpet was a waste of time, no pick up at all. While the cost was reasonable for a stick vac, I wasted $799 on a vac I won’t use. Only had it three months. Ended up buying a barrel vac, spending another $550 when I should have just just bought a Dyson.

I hate vacuuming but I love this vac – The Electrolux sits on a stand in the corner of the room and I barely notice it. Every couple of days I grab it and spend 2 minutes running over a section of the carpet. It takes about 2 mins to empty the canister and put it back. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs plus long hair so it has its work cut out. It's light weight, versatile and I'm still… Read more

surprised by how much fine dirt it is pulling out of the carpet. The battery lasts a decent amount of time if you don't use the turbo setting (which just about lifts the carpet). The only problem I've had is when the 'clean filter' light came on, it would not go off again after cleaning. But Electrolux customer service were excellent and called me back with a solution the next day (just needed to hold the power button on for 10 seconds). I do not miss dragging my old, heavy Hoover around and going through expensive bags, plus it no longer smells like I've vacuumed and my allergies are much better too. Plus, it has a function to cut the hair that wraps around the power head brushes without lifting it up. The biggest issue with assembly is all the instructions are 'written' in pictures, which is a bit ambiguous but a you-tube clip helped us there.

Best Stick I have purchased – Comes with two batteries, thank goodness :-), easy to assemble, bit stiff to get the dispenser off to empty, but that will come with practice and time. Good assembly stand holds everything and charges both batteries at once. Great suction, all packed in recyclable cardboard, hope nothing goes wrong with it as I recently bought one of their… Read more

washing machines and their after sales service is shocking and they don't read their messages properly just give you stock standard preset answers. So fingers crossed this lasts a while. $699 from Beta Electrical great service from them.
