Elizabeth Arden Refining Toner

Not for sensitive skin – I tried to like this toner and I had read a lot of good reviews before purchasing it. My skin is combination/normal and sensitive. For starters this toner has a very strong scent which I personally find unpleasant and irritating to my allergies. After using it for about two weeks I noticed a plethora of issues. My skin has become dry, dull, and extremely red. The skin itself is rough and I am breaking out where the toner has been applied. It is rare for me to have a blemish let alone the small clusters I am seeing on my chin, cheeks, and forehead. There are red rough patches on my cheeks and my pores are larger and more noticeable than before. Despite exfoliating and using great cleansers it feels like this toner just sits on top of my face. It does not feel clarifying what so ever. I have never had so many issues with one product in such a short amount of time but this toner did absolutely nothing but destroy my skin.. I am not sure if these issues stem from the alcohol or scent in the toner however I would recommend that anyone with sensitive skin or allergies stays far away from this product.

Good – Gentle enough to use day and night and it takes of make up that is left behind and any other residue left behing. It leaves your skin soft. It is so good on your skin and feels so nice sometimes i tone twice as it just makes my skin feel alive. some toners are just like water being swept over your fce but not this one it leaves you wanting to come ack for more...Very unusual for a toner but i will continue to use this one also. This Toner will make your skin feel lovely and ready for serum or moisturiser.
