Ordered a few days ago and when looking for tracking details through the website, says order can’t be found. Tried customer service and get no response or you talk to an automated voice. Already can see I’ve just been scammed. Stay away from these guys Show details
Inferior product and service – I purchased 4 cameras and only have 1 left that works. These are absolute junk and a waste of money. This company encourages people to leave feedback for their products so more people buy and get stung by this inferior product. Customer service are woeful, instead of offering to replace or refund the product they jerk you around with emails that offer no support whatsoever. Don’t waste your time and money!!!
Did not last. Avoid – The light bulb security cameras work fine and I was impressed with them. However after 6 months 1 camera that had been in service and 1 camera that was initially set up and worked fine was put back in the box now either of the cameras will not power up or reset. Only option is to throw them in the bin. At least the consultant on the chat line said sorry. Show details
Not Happy – Buyer beware. This organisation doesn't have a free return policy if the product is faulty. Any retailer that doesn't provide a free return on faulty products demonstrates to me that they do not back their own products. I too purchased a light bulb camera but the motion tracking didn't work properly so sent it back at my own expense but I did receive a prompt refund. Show details

Father Loved his gift! – Got this for my father for Christmas and he had lots of fun setting it up. What I had a positive experience on however, was the customer service from Emporium Hut was amazing! Just what I needed – I feel much safer now knowing that I can keep an eye on the outside of my unit, I love the fact that it has motion detection as well

that's not entirely their fault so fair enough 3) Camera doesn't work as intended: 1, it does not pan 360 degree as they indicated on their website. 2, it does not record at all times. Motion tracking does not work properly. 4) I was sent the wrong memory card or that its faulty 5) They claim that they test the camera before sending this. This sounds like they've opened the package and so it's no longer brand new.
I only had the product for 1 day and haven't even begun using it and when asked if I could get a refund, I was told to send it back only to find that I have to pay for the return of the package for potential faulty goods. I haven't gone to the ACCC yet as I've given them an option to send me the correct TF card and haven't heard a single peep after our previous correspondence.
For those who are considering buying from them, I would advise against it.
Fantastic product and excellent customer service – I ordered a light bulb camera and forgot to the select screw in option. I asked them to assist and change it and they immediately came back with confirmation that order was updated and on its way. I received the light bulb camera as ordered and I am very pleased with the product quality and impressed with all the different functions!! Worst customer service ever experienced – I purchased a bayonet light bulb security camera and they sent me a screw bulb version. It took a very long time to get a response - the phone goes straight to voicemail and no-one ever responded, email took several days and the online chat is one response every 30 minutes, meaning that an actual conversation will take hours. had to pay the postage to return it, even though they sent the wrong product. I pointed out that the ACCC don't see it that way and they eventually agreed to refund the postage. If I wanted a replacement, they were happy to send it out as soon as they got the tracking number from Australia Post. I wanted a refund though, which they would only do after it had been 'assessed' by their warehouse team.
The parcel sat waiting to be collected at their end for three days. When I followed up I was told that 'It can take some time for our warehouse to collect your return. Thank you for your patience and understanding.'
When they eventually got round to picking it up, they provided a refund of less than the purchase price and (of course) no sign of the postage. When I raised this, they offered to pay the remainder 'that day' via Paypal. That was nearly a week ago.
I've raised this with the ACCC, because I think the attitude is absolutely disgusting, along with the fact that they are on record as confirming the refund they would pay and haven't. They have no interest in anything beyond taking your money. The product might work well - I couldn't tell you because I didn't fancy paying an electrician to change my bulbs over - but if there's a problem don't expect anything other than absolute contempt from Emporium Hut.

Perfect Cameras – I purchased these cameras for inside house and wow they are amazing. Quality is fantastic, has motion detection and you can also control camera movement from your phone and speak through camera. Security at the front door – Great product that shows me who’s around and who’s been. Notifications are sent to my phone. This camera is undercover so it’s not out in the whether. It works in all conditions 24 hours day and night. Every now and then I get a color photo which is blurred at night but this one in 20 photos a day. Not a big problem. Took a while to get refund – They rarely respond to emails, their phone number is bogus as no one ever answers it. don't buy these cameras – You are expected to buy an additional cloud service at $60 per month I was able to download an app to bypass the above but, couldn't configure the last camera I was then asked to agree to their own terms which I refused, they then RESET my cameras calling that REMOVE ALL DATA I then tried to re-configure all the cameras unsuccessfully DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY're NOTHING MORE THAN ARTFUL DODGERS Show details

Look before you leap – The device is not a scam but you need to do your research. If you don't pay for a subscription, what you get is a basic home security camera that records to a SD Card but has no "bells & whistles" such as remote viewing/motion detection. (subscription) the device continually beeps and beeps loudly which makes it useless in my circumstances (drive the neighbours mad). The other issue I have is that the camera, when operating on SD Card only, doesn't seem to be able to record single images and instead what I get is hundreds of short video clips even if there's no movement! It's been an interesting experience but I've ordered a trail camera from Anaconda which I was going to do in the first place but the need for batteries put me off.
