Been great! – Now a year out of warranty, being four years old and has always worked perfectly. Will freeze things very quickly when turned on high. Does have a few things to be careful with though. The exposed cooling plate that goes right around the vertical walls is made of thin aluminium so you don't want anything hard banging against it. It was the right size to fit into a tight spot on my truck so I can't complain about the thin insulation in the box to keep it compact. It is remarkably tough as it has not suffered from the rough corrugated roads I sometimes use. You can buy a cover to aid the insulation if you have room. Also a top is available to turn it into a fridge freezer. Ideal for keeping stuff frozen from the weekly shopping trip as the trip home is quite long. It cools down enough to keep ice cream frozen in a few minutes. Thank you Engel for this great product!
