Sept 2020 - Latest model is far too noisy
Researched portable 12v & 240 before settling on this new model - which allows you to vary the sizes of the fridge and freezer sections.
Advertised as being for your camper, car, van etc but was very disappointed to discover how much noise this unit made.
It made more noise than my home fridge. Someone else online has described the noise as “worse than a diesel engine”. The constant, high-pitch whine noise, and the extra noise when the compressor kicks in, made sleeping with it in or near (outside) an insulated van impossible.
