Epic Cooler is a big scam and on top of that if you buy through PayPal and think its safe then think again , pay pal is also a big scam company , i tried to cancel my order just seconds after and they said they cant , they need to up date their system ,so cancellation after few hours is active. there is no cancel tap in PayPal . i wouldn't be using papal again . This is defiantly a scam, buyer beware, I was lucky got a full refund after much debate, they also said i could keep the useless unit. Being in the trade i pulled it apart, it has a heating element inside with 2 small computer fans that have a non adjustable speed and that is all there is to it, no cooling technology at all !!! so if you want a small low powered heater I'm sure there is cheaper and better units every where. worry as there is a full 30 day money back return policy. Product arrives and it’s garbage, cooler does not cool at all and is not even close to fit for purpose. So get back in contact to enact the 30 day return. Then given a bunch of hoops to jump through and told of ridiculous conditions of return including the item must be unused. Huh.. “how am I meant to test the product if I don’t plug it in?”… I question this and was offered a 25% refund to keep the product. I nearly choke at how comical then was offered 45% and so on. We eventually settle on 70% refund as I would have had to fit the bill for the item being return shipped to Hong Kong within 30 days and be undamaged/unused for full refund which by this point I knew was not going to happen. Refund went straight through but ended up losing about $110AUD from this lack of judgement on my behalf. Do not EVER purchase from this company or the many others like it. Since I made this mistake I’m noticing other ads of similar products that have the same advertising etc. I bet they are all part of the same conglomerate scamming whoever is silly enough to try and buy their garbage.

air-conditioners and another for a third air-conditioner. I immediately contacted them to cancel the order (that I don't believe I made) and for them to refund the money for both transactions. They refused. So far, PayPal have shown little empathy and has refused to cancel the transactions.
The combined price shown on their Order form was what I took to be AU$338.91. I was charged US$241.96 for two units and a further US$149.59 for the third unit. price
Yesterday, I opened one of the air-conditioners, and I found the cooling was ineffective and the remote controller wasn't working. As I am living in hope that PayPal may help, I haven't opened the other boxes.
Follow-up · Instructed epicooler to cancel transaction and refund the money for the three coolers they sent, which don't cool. Unsuccessful. PayPal finally refunded money for one of the coolers, still trying to get money back for the other two.

2025. the order came on the 15th of December. i rang them when they arrived and asked them to take them back. I brought them for my sister and she said the one she tried to was just a fan and I was right in wonting to return them back. I never heard from Support after that.i called and emailed them in January and they just kept stalling and saying I had surpassed the 30 Days I called on the 15 th December 2025 to say I was returning them because not fit for purpose and the order was wrong.” They are very quick to access your money but extremely difficult to deal with. you name it. When I installed it in my office which is only 8 square meters. I put it on low cool and I got the same reading of air coming out of unit as the room temperature was! When complaining I was offered a return for the unit that was not opened and no return for the used one. Although it was only used for a day as it was useless. If I returned the one unit, I had to pay postage but to where? what would it cost considering it took almost a month to come so I opted for a 25% discount. Cost initially $241. Refunded $85.85. Another thing was the unit came unbranded except on the back it Says' Wall Mounted Heater. I got caught!

I was unable to cancel this order within 1 hr of placing the order, all my emails were sent back undeliverable. I was unaware this was in USA $’s and it was being shipped from outside Australia. They have refused my refund due to their policy that after 1hr, if I want a refund I will need to send the product back to whatever country this has been shipped from. Now waiting to see how long this takes to arrive. Do not deal with this company.

The whole description and advertising are misleading to say the least, and the item certainly does not perform its intended purpose in any way. A $20 Fan from one of the budget companies would perform better this unit many times over. The Company is evasive and appears to be dodgy from the start when you realise the advertised price turns out to be in US$. No mention of AUS$ either and the time Paypal sends the paid invoice there is no chance in hell to reverse the purchase. The product description and advertising are misleading, and the item does not perform its intended purpose in any way. An ordinary oscillating fan from Kmart would outperform this unit many times over.
I have repeatedly requested to return the items due to non-performance and misleading advertising. Instead of providing a return address and processing a refund, the company has delayed responses, requested surveys, and offered a partial 25% refund, which I refused. This appears to be a stalling tactic to run out the refund period.
The reviews on their website are clearly not representative of the actual product performance.
