Ergotune customer service are completely unacommodating and extremely short sighted. I have read countless reviews about awful aftersales and I'm here to add to that. I was on the fence about purchasing an Ergotune and I wish I had listened to my head. Do NOT purchase an Ergotune chair. Show details

My experience with Ergotune has been extremely frustrating. My order was significantly delayed with no proactive communication, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get vague, often contradictory responses. They advertised free shipping at the time of purchase. After I brought this to the attention of customer service, the free shipping… Read more

claim was removed from the website, which only reinforces how misleading the original information was.

Despite this, I was told the order could not be cancelled because it had “already been processed,” even though to this day there has been no delivery and no tracking showing the item was ever collected by the courier.

For a premium-priced product, the lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend Ergotune.

High on Marketing, Low on Quality and Customer Satisfaction – Our experience with the Supreme Chairs we purchased a year ago has been disappointing. The overall quality is considerably low, inferior even to the $100 chairs available at Officeworks in Australia. Attempts to return these poor-quality chairs were thwarted by ineffective customer service, with generic responses from sales@au.ergotune.com and no… Read more

action taken. The chairs are now unusable, left to collect dust in a corner of our office.

In short, look past the impressive marketing of the Supreme Chairs. The product and customer service both leave much to be desired. Buyer beware.

Simply brilliant – After only a few days since delivery, I can honestly say that the ErgoTune Supreme lives up to all of the promotional advertising and the positive YouTube reviews. I don't understand any negative reviews. With its extensive adjustments, one can tailor it for body size and shape to provide the absolute correct support. My lower back is already… Read more

thankful. I have a rolltop desk with a high desk surface and the chair adjusts perfectly for it, both in seat height and the superb height adjustable arm rests. The careful packaging, excellent instructions and total ease of assembly shows the considerable forethought that has gone into the whole design. I highly recommend this chair. It's a very worthwhile investment with a 12 year warranty.

Better in theory – Being 6ft1 I was really excited to see a chair that was so customizable. And I will say that the chair really has excellent features for customization. However I have been unable to use the chair for 3 reasons: 1. The lumbar support adjusts in height but it protrodes forcefully into the spine and you can’t tone it down. Even on the “least firm”… Read more

setting it is way too prominent. 2. The seat is hard. Bum numbing hard! I have a sit stand desk and found myself standing as much as possible to avoid the hard seat ;) 3. Chair width was really wide for me. So I couldn’t get the arm rests in a comfortable position. Though they do also swing inwards, the standard armrest setting left my arms out too far from my body, aggravating the shoulders.

In fairness I did not try to return the chair so I cannot speak to customer support. Im sure had I been more organised they would have given me a full refund, but I never tried.

I just wanted to post the review because what I saw online and all the great reviews I saw did not match my experience and I felt it would be good to share with others in the same boat.

Fixing my back, one vertebrae at a time :) – If standing desks didn't exist, we'd potentially spend up to 16 hours a day sitting. It only makes sense, then, to invest in something good if you're going to spend 2/3 of your life in it. I previously had a gaming chair which was essentially a glorified carseat which was more branding than it was quality. Along with the constant back pain that… Read more

comes with being old, I looked around for a seat that was infinitely adjustable, didn't cost $2,000, wasn't PU leather (you know, so it won't flake off after a few years) and had a mesh bottom to be cool all year round. I was a real nerd about my research and all my information led me to this chair.

Trust a boffin - this is the zenith option: it's the most chair you can get at ErgoTune's asking price. Even if you're shaped like a Chicken Twistie with a seated position like a prawn, the amount of adjustable support this chair gives will fix your sitting posture, your back, your dating life, your marriage, your career and every other problem you might have. I'm not even kidding that much - after sitting in this for a while, my back pain reduced which meant my shoulders hunched less; with less shoulders less hunched, you stand taller, which adds like an inch to your stature and confidence. And lord knows, sometimes an inch makes all the difference ;)

Complaints? None, really. I managed to nab one at EOFY so it came down from $750 to $600 (excl. shipping) so I'd say it was a good deal. If I had one gripe (and it's only a very minor one at that), it's that I'm at the problematic height of 180cm, which means I sit right at the cusp of M and L. I opted for the M size, which has the perfect spring rates for an 80kg man, but the seat doesn't come as far forward as I would like it because of my freakishly long femurs. The back could also use one extra notch at the top of the adjustment... but that's me nitpicking. I don't have much to complain about for a chair that quite literally got me a new girlfriend and a better job.

Long story short, I highly rate it - do it for your own sakes. You deserve a better life - if not that, at least the impression of boosted confidence that comes with better posture :)

Awesome chair, super comfy even for this tall guy! – Just assembled it & it feels great! I’m over 180cm and struggled getting a chair that’s just right for me. This is fantastic because I have long legs with a short torso and I’m able to create a better posture for those long days at the desk! Very important for this health and safety trainer. Show details

I have this chair for about two years now. Overall, I'm happy with it. I've been working mostly from home, what means the chair has been used daily. And even after two years it still stands strong, no significant wear and tear on it. It has plenty of settings which, honestly, I barely use. You set it once to the position that's comfortable and… Read more

rarely change anything.

Delivery was a bit of a pain as the box has been left next to my garage with a message from the transport company that it has been left at the safe place (it was not, accessible from the street) and had to carry it two sets of stairs by myself. The box is heavy (20-30kg) and big so a smaller person wouldn't be able to even bring it in.

Second drawback, I'm a tall person - 197cm, I've ordered the biggest version which they claim it can serve people up to 210cm, but that's a nonsense. Even for me the headrest is too low and cannot be put any higher. To have it comfortable, I would need it another 3cm higher and I'm much shorter than the max they claim. So if you are really tall, maybe look elsewhere.

Overall, it's a decent chair, I like the mesh at the back and the bottom, in the hot and humid days it's a life saver, definitely makes my skin breathing and me sweating less than in a solid bottom/back chair. Even with my almost 100kg and daily use, it is still looking solid after more than two years now.

Considering the pricing, I think it's a good value/price ratio.

Do not use – If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a Joobie chair in November. set. Was given a tracking number. Christmas came, new years came, tracking number wasn’t giving any updates. Finally got a response from them saying there had been an error and ignore that tracking number as it hadn’t been processed. They then “processed” a new replacement gas lift and screw set with new tracking numbers, which have now been sitting with no scan events since Jan 8th. I cannot get a response. Everything is always “looking into it” “will escalate to the team”. I want a refund for the chair I cannot use, and for them to come and collect the item at their cost that’s taking up half my office. Absolutely atrocious service for what is a very expensive chair. Best part is getting emails asking me to provide a review! For a chair I cannot build due to their incompetence.

I’m tall, buying chairs is a nightmare, this one is the best I have had, including the chairs at work – So I went with the large and when you set it up you just put screws in a place marked for 180cm+. The set up was quite straight forward with just putting it together with screws and the allen key provided. Everything was easy to follow and it has a great tip for adding the back to the seat using some of the foam. That is the trickiest bit and that… Read more

tip made the difference. The other tricky bit was placing the chair onto the gaslift. Two people might be better for that bit. Also I placed the seat facing down on a coach arm rest to put the chair arm rests on either side. That helps to keep the seat steady to screw the arm rests and adjusting bit on. The chair is just tall enough for me with the seat fully out but supper comfortable with the back support and arm rests adjusting perfectly. I haven’t had a chair fit this well ever. I seems well built and not cheap or flimsy. I would recommend it for sure.

I am very happy with chair, very easy to put together and surprisingly comfortable. Only had the chair for a week, really does represent what they advertise. Bought the footrest as well. another great add on.

We recently acquired the Ergotune Vesby Chair for our office, and we were thoroughly impressed by its user-friendly ordering process and prompt delivery. The chair’s colour is aesthetically pleasing, and its installation was exceptionally straightforward. The chair’s construction is robust and durable. The chair’s adjustable features are ingeniously designed to accommodate a wide range of postures. We highly recommend this product.

A great office chair! Easy to assemble and very comfortable to sit for long period of time. My only negative about the chair is the adjustable arm rest that does not lock in. The arm rest annoyingly moves each time I bump it or move my arm. Other than that, it is a great chair. Show details

Avoid buying their products, I ordered a Joobie chair and the quality was appalling, the return process was the worst and they ended up charging me much more than was advertised. The return fee was ridiculous.

A lot of the points of adjustment cannot be "locked" and subsequently are easily bumped/adjusted by accident. A good example being the arm rests are constantly adjusting by accident. Especially when you are moving the chair around, for instance to stand at your desk. Similar with the lumbar height, it can't be locked in place and I'm constantly… Read more

having to readjust it as it.

The foot rest feature is pretty great, I do recommend it.

Lastly, comfort... I'd describe the chair as being very supportive, rather than very comfortable. It's great from an Argo onics/spine/posture perspective but not from a relaxing/comfort perspective.

The mesh once it has your weight on it and is pulled firm acts more like a plastic chair than a foam chair. which can become uncomfortable.

I'd like to see the same chair frame with lockable adjustments AND some means to combine padding with the mesh...

Took to long to deliver and customer service where clueless – This review is regarding customer service and the chair delivery, not the chair itself, I'll review that separately. Beware of delivery times and of customer service and order tracking. It does not work and you will be left waiting for ages. at the maximum. I live in Sydney Australia, so that seemed reasonable for a big city. However, that didn't happen, not even close. The chair took 17 days to arrive, and in the meantime I kept contacting customer service to know where it was and eventually to get money back when I began to think it was never coming.

Customer service were always very apologetic, but always failed to give me any information whatsoever about where the chair was and when it would be delivered. They were basically completely clueless and had simply lost track of the chair. The tracking number given also didn't work.

So after some 12 days of no chair, I asked customer service for a refund. They didn't reply for 4 days, and when they did they said they had lost track of the order in the warehouse, but that it was now at a depo and they would try and find out when it would be delivered. They didn't mention the refund. I insisted. They said they would refund me when the chair made it's was back to them - so I would just have to wait for them to figure it all out to get a refund.

Today the chair arrived. They clearly had no idea of what was going on. I'm keeping the chair now because I dread to imagine how it would be to give it back. It has been a terrible experience with the delivery and customer service and I live in Sydney! I can only imagine if you live somewhere further. I do not recommend their delivery service, tracking service or customer service. It's been a disappointing experience. Now let's hope the chair is good.

No support - gone out of business? – I purchased one of their Joobie chairs (after a less than satisfactory online shopping experience).
