I'm not sure. I think their specs quote internal space any ways. It was pretty decent space till we had it. We gave it away though, didn't need it any longer.

Hi everyone. I am on the verge of buying one of these. Just one question left...I want to place the back end of this under my 15cm long kitchen bench overhang (with the rest of the freezer open to the room including the sides). The bench height is only 1mm higher than the freezer so there will be no airflow above for that 15cm of cover, but lots of airflow out the sides. Is this ok for the motor, etc? Cheers, J

Read the other reviews. This freezer will break down in about the time the warranty expires. It will be he same problem as noted by Colin G. It will cut out in 10 seconds and won't operate after that. I had the same problem, so logically this freezer has a manufacturing defect. Remember, price is no substitute for quality. Buy at your own risk!

Hi JJJ, I would not recommend that as the appliance then would not have adequate room to ventilate. You will see the same issue listed above occur if there is not enough ventilation. The Esatto After Sales team cannot/ will not help help if this appliance breaks down even if only one day after the warranty expires. There should be a law against selling shoddy gear like this freezer.

I think there is. I remember reading in Choice magazine that the manufacturer is not off the hook if the article gives up the ghost that quickly after the warranty expires. You can read up on it but you have to be a member of Choice. Worth it I think.
