Waste of money - seems to completely miss major movement events whilst picking up minor movement. My old analog system works much better and is more reliable. Show details
Waste of money. I've had this home security system for years now and it doesn't work properly. When the sun shines you can't see the footage. A guy was trying to break into cars and walked past mine and the camera didn't pick him up so I couldn't show my neighbours or the police. To set it up you have to hold the camera to the home base which sets… Read more
off the alarm before you've had a chance to position the camera. And I can't switch it off easily when I set off the alarm when testing the system. It gets harder to deal with when it updates. And, I shouldn't have to connect to the internet or sign into google to use it either. Once set up, you should just not have to worry about anything! Even to post a review you have to sign into some account, it's ridiculous!
Worst investment ever! Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt! Battery runs out fast the recording is late You got to keep trying to get the cameras to work and ill never be buying this product again Show details
Useless cameras. The video quality it terrible, and they cannot even detect our cars parking in our driveway, mounted some 2 meters away. When they can detect something, the video quality is so poor that you cannot identify the persons in it, again only 2-3 meters away, at walking pace. The night vision is almost nonexistent. I had contacted eufy… Read more
whilst these where in warranty, wanting them to take them back, but they hung up on me. I’ll never by another one of your products, nor will I rely on eufy for the safety of my family. This junk is destined for the bin. Folks, buy a better brand, it will be worth it in the long run.

I bought this kit with an extra camera (total of 5) to be used for my newly built home. I've owned these for just over two years (now out of warranty). I've already have three cameras replaced during the warranty period, with a 4th camera faulty which happened just after the warranty period. I never expected the Eufy cameras to be so poor… Read more
workmanship. 1st camera issue: The anti-theft feature not working. The feature was enabled in the app but when touched, didn't trigger the alarm. Solution: Replaced faulty product.
2nd camera issue: Water moisture in lens inside the IP67 rating product. The camera was placed on a half sheltered cover which only gets occasionally splashed by heavier rain. Solution: Replaced faulty product.
3rd camera issue: Battery would not charge anymore. The app showed it was charging but the battery wasn't actually getting charged. I attached it to a solar panel as a compromise it would work continuously without the battery being working, but that wasn't the way the Eufy cameras functions. The camera is now unusable as the battery drained out. Solution: Replaced faulty product with a poor standard refurbished product. The night vision quality is so poor and not up to standards. I now can only place it in a location with minimal night activities (which kind of defeats the purpose of a surveillance).
4th camera: Water moisture in the lens. Yes, this same issue happened on a different camera, but now out of warranty. Solution: Out of warranty, nothing could be done from Eufy.
These cameras were under a set up and leave it scenario, which means that there wasn't any mobility or physical damage risks involved. Being used under such a stable and calm environment, product failure simply meant that the products were made with very poor workmanship.
Spending a total of $1,400 for the set plus an additional camera with some only lasted two years, in my opinion is totally waste of money. This means I have to spend more money to have them replaced, hoping the new purchase will last, and the old items won't break.
Eufy was meant to save me money long term, but the facts now have proven me wrong. Now passed the two year warranty period, Eufy ain't going to help me and I'm on my own.
An extra note I want to mention, is that after the major Eufy app update, it has become really slow and frequently unresponsive. Loading past clips is also unreliable and slow. I honestly don't know what they did, but why is it getting worse as an overall customer experience?
EUFY Surveillance system – Sold with 365 day battery life, 40 days before recharge on some units, sold with ability to connect directly to monitor incorrect does not have capabilities. EUFY Australian outlet Direct Electonics failed to respond to the above. Bought from Harvey Normans Mount Barker SA they are prepared to buy back unit, this indicated on going problems with EUFY. System works very well just does not comply and poor customer support Show details
Eufy 2c 4 pack – The quality is pretty good, although I struggle to see how they’re genuinely 2k quality, when you compare 1080p television quality, but anyway, it does the job. There are a couple of down sides to the cameras, and this is the delay in which the cameras can pick up people at times. It can be quite inconsistent. Some times it will capture people… Read more
coming across the field of view, other times it almost complete misses them, and you only get the last step of someone’s leg leaving the view. They also use MircoUSB charging ports, which as we all know, are prone to fail, with its very poor design port. Expected a higher end home camera to come with USB C ports, which are just so much better! All in all, the cameras do a fair job and I would recommend them, but there is some areas to improve.

Good Idea but bad execution – When they work they are good but they break easily. Especially with every update it always breaks something I had to replace 2-3 times different camers with different issues. Show details
Don't waste your money – These cameras are never recording when needed - they constantly drop out. I have contacted eufy a number of times and had "replacement" cameras sent out as they are not staying connected within a 10m range of router as advertised. Cameras not recording when our car was hit in a hit and run as they had dropped out for 24hours. 2 months later… Read more
police asked for footage on one of our indoor camera we set up to look out our window as it would record constantly and not drop out. Turns out you can not access pass recordings (they wanted a weekend worth of footage) unless you want to sit there and screen record 48hours worth of footage. What is the point? Cameras drop out multiple times a day sometimes for multiple days until forcefully reconnected to the homebase and if an incident does happen I can't do anything with the footage????
Customer service is mediocre - you'll get sent out used cameras to shut you up after about a month of back and forth emails.
eufy camm 2 pro – the trouble with these darn cameras when the batteries inside them finally give up and die then you have to darn well throw them away and buy new ones and at a cost of $400.00 each that is just dam waste of money ,especially when you need at least 5 around your property , plus you can't take the batteries because they are permanently sealed in the cameras Show details
Complete rubbish – These cameras used to be great now the company is too big and now the quality is terrible. They recently pushed thru an update that has rendered the system unusable. Calls to support are useless as they give you the basic turn it off and on. Don't waste your money. Show details
Useless and too expensive – We’ve had the eufy 2 pro for a month. Worst security system I’ve ever owned. 1) fails to record important events. I’ve witnessed people walking past our house, parking in front, the postman delivering mail and being bitten by a neighbour’s dog, that same dog pooping on my lawn, cars pulling up and taking my recycling I left on the kerb and… Read more
driving away, our bins being emptied… all in view of 2 cameras…NOTHING! 2) those same cameras however record shadows of trees blowing in the breeze and birds flying past 3) only records half events. We see events of people already well into the view of the camera and then cuts off after 10 seconds 4) it doesn’t seem to record 2 cameras at once. We see a courier cross our front yard on camera 1. We know he left a package. But the front door camera records nothing. 5) it doesn’t seem to record while you’re watching the live feed. If we hear something and check, then nothing is recorded for that period.
