Faulty unit and terrible support – Initially this vacuum appeared to be good, and to provide good value, however, as others have also experienced, after 18 months it started turning off after very short periods of vacuuming, less than 1 minute after a lengthy charge. Within 2 years from purchase it would only vacuum for 4 or 5 seconds. What was most disappointing was Eufy’s… Read more

response to this - they stated that as it is outside the warranty period of 12 months they will not do anything and will close the support ticket. I believe they are not complying with Australian consumer law that a product has reasonable quality and will last for a reasonable period of normal use. They don’t care - I would recommend that everyone stays away from products from this company because of their awful customer support.

A Product That Dies Just Past Warranty – Good for a year and then it starts cutting out every few seconds. I see by these reviews were not alone with this complaint. Do not purchase unless you’re happy to only have a working vacuum for just over 12 months - just outside of the warranty period. Show details

Great machine but the motor gave out after 12 months – Like others who have posted their reviews, I really liked my Eufy S11 Lite. It was a great little vacuum with a big dirt catcher, easy to use, and very powerful. It picked up dirt on a mat that no other vacuum would dislodge. Outside the 12 months warranty period it started playing up. It would stop after only a few seconds. I couldn't get it to… Read more

work more than that. Every now and then I would try it again, hoping it would work properly, but it never did. I thought I would have to buy a new battery. So I found the book to check on the battery required and found out two things. One--when I checked the red flashing light it matched the error for a problem with the motor--no need to buy a battery. I was glad I checked the book. Two--my husband took out an extended replacement warranty when he bought it. Great! now I could return it and get a replacement one. I posted it back as per the instructions. Now we have heard that the company that controls the replacement isn't offering us the same machine, but a different brand's cheap one that is no longer available in any stores. We found that the warranty says the replacement machine is to cost no more than the price of the Eufy (which we purchased on special). Beware the small print on extended replacement warranties! My husband has rung the store and the manager has said this is wrong and he is going to see what he can do as the warranty is by a third party but in the store's name. We will see what happens. Bottom line? If your Eufy stops working after only a few seconds, count the red flashes of the charging light. If it blinks 8 times quickly the motor is faulty. If it blinks slowly it is the battery. If it's still under 12 months old get it returned immediately under warranty. If you have an extended warranty, check what you are entitled to and contact the store.

Fine if you are happy to replace in 12 months – We loved this stick vacuum but it stopped working just outside its 12 month warranty period. Especially annoying as it was purchased early and put aside as a Xmas gift . For an item that we use so seldom, this was disappointing as we could have spent a lot less if we knew we would need to replace in a year. Show details

Great cordless vacuum – The Eufy Homevac s11 Lite cordless vacuum is great for low carpet and short fluffy carpet on low suction. I have carpet squares in my room and other cordless vacuums had in past didnt pick up dust and debris well compared to this one. i did have to use the max suction at times but still picked up. It is good on tiles also. Brought it on special… Read more

from Jb Hifi $200 from $500 great saving. Also very easy to clean out and like how can detach the roller also to clean hair from it.

Absolute crap product – Vacuum looks amazing and is quiet. Cuts out continually, takes a few hours to charge, and does not suction, but looks very stylish while it disperses and flicking around what it should be sucking up. Pretty lights on the lovely powerhead. 35 minute run time sounds impressive, but didn't happen. It wouldn't run for 60 seconds without cutting off. … Read more

Haven't been able to vacuum one square metre of carpet without it cutting out 14 times. Gave up and will be seeking a refund.

Great at flinging things across the room, brilliant at rolling over things and not sucking them up – I'd say this vacuum sucks, but that would be inaccurate. You will eventually get a clean floor with this thing, but anything larger than a single crumb will require multiple passes for the machine to muster up the courage to suck it up, and when you do (eventually) suck up something a little larger, the choke point between the shaft and barrell… Read more

will inveitably clog, requiring the machine to be taken apart and cleaned.

More often than not, instead of sucking a crub up, it takes great delight in flinging it across the room instead.

It does do well on hard surfaces, and seems to cope with dog hair well (My office shares a kitchen/bathroom with a dog groomer so it get's a bit of use here) and the battery life is pretty decent for the price - I can vacuum my whole office and shared areas without running flat (and that's using it on max power everytime)

It's not great in the car due to the design as the barrell is so long, but that's not why I purchased it so that's not my main concern.

All in all, despite my negative comments, for $199 it does an adequate job (eventually) and I can't really think of anything else in this price range that would stand out as a better performer other than a mains powered machine.

And now after 2 years, the battery won't hold a charge, so I'd suggest avoiding this unit

Kids Toy – extremely disappointing vacuum, especially for the $$ they charge, weak suction, weak battery life, over priced dustbuster in my experience, got myself a B&D midrange model for under half the price and it has the Eufy preforming like a kids toy. Show details

Great Efficient Stick Vac – I have to be upfront and let you know I’m comparing the Eufy S11 Lite with our Dyson V6 which we’ve had for years. The verdict - just as good (if not better) for a fraction of the price. The Eufy has a 35 minute battery life (the Dyson had 20), it has very handy LED lights on the front of the floor brush (the Dyson had none), it feels marginally… Read more

lighter than the Dyson, it’s definitely quieter, and the canister emptying process is a breeze (the Dyson was clunkier and ended up with the canister lid clasp wearing down so it had to be taped to the canister to keep it closed). I guess everything on the Dyson could have been fixed (at a decent cost), so spending $199 on a new one seemed reasonable. I’ll use the Dyson for the car. The only downside with the Eufy is that it comes with only one cleaning head. The Dyson has 2, one for hard floors and one for carpet. However the Eufy head seems to tackle both very well. How long this new one lasts is up in the air, but for now it’s a definite two thumbs up. UPDATE: we’ve been using the stick vac for over 2 years now and it’s still ploughing on. We did have a few occasions when the battery appeared to have died, but I found that either putting it on charge for just a few seconds, or (strangely enough) taking the attachment off and trying to start it again, have both worked!

I love this vacuum cleaner! – I purchased this vacuum as it was recommended on a social media cleaning page. We have mostly hardwood floors but I use the Max suction on our carpet floor mats and I'm astounded with how much comes out. Fantastic vacuum cleaner for a great price. Show details

This stick vacuum is amazing, it is so light and easy to use. I don’t know what I did without it! – Have used this on carpet and tiles and performs great on both surfaces. The suction is really good. The vacuum is super easy to empty when needed. Also charges quickly. Show details

Total waste of money and useless – Do not waste your money or time with this Eufy S11 Lite Stick vacuum cleaner. Was on sale at 50 % off at $199. Whilst very simple to put together, after the recommended charge time it proved to be totally useless. Virtually no suction power. Product returned. Purchased from major retailer in Australia. They emailed me today to write a review.… Read more

Just advised that my review stating that the product was disappointing and 1 star was rejected. Now disappointed with retailer and product !
