These cameras started out really well, however after a short period of use they developed a major issue with fogging and condensation inside the lens whenever it rains. The moisture can take days to clear, leaving the cameras almost useless during… Read more

that time due to poor visibility and image quality.

For a product designed to operate outdoors, this is extremely disappointing and raises concerns about the weather sealing and overall durability. Unfortunately, what initially seemed like a great product has become unreliable in wet conditions.

Follow-up  · Humidity is very low where I live Any rain or fog they are unusable The period of time they started to fail was around 6 months they replaced 1 camera under waranty now all of them are doing it very poor camera in my opinion

Don’t waste your time! After a couple of months you can’t connect to the Homebase unless you are connected to the home WiFi. I mistakingly spent days and days trying to rectify the problem, changing settings on my phone, even resetting the home internet connection, resulting in hours in resetting/programming TVs, computers, vacuums, phones, etc.… Read more

All these cameras do is waste your time. They are useless as you can not connect to the cameras when you are not at home, which defeats the point of them. Eufy customer support is non existent. I wish I could go back to the beginning before I purchased them to avoid all the time and effort I have lost with trying to rectify this common problem.

I redeemed Telstra points for this system 6 months ago. One of the two cameras no longer accepts a charge. Contacted Eufy and after 13 emails they cannot assist because they don't recognise my purchase from Telstra - albeit with points. I'm fairly convinced I'm dealing with an AI chat bot at Eufy. Complained to Telstra and they couldn't/wouldn't… Read more

assist and suggest I bring the set into one of their stores for a refund to request a refund. I can't be bothered with any of this and wouldn't touch the brand in future. Telstra is almost as annoying in not offering proper support for an item they 'sell'. I'll report them to the ACCC if I can be bothered.

Excellent Product – Recently Purchased 2 cameras & home base. Very easy to set up, easy to use and no problems so far. Alerts work well. EufyCam 2C Pro 2-Cam - Excellent wireless 2K camera package – I have used the two camera set for 165 days, and this is the first time I had to charge them! The human AI works well, however the night time motion detection is a bit "erratic". However the battery life is extraordinary and makes up for it very well. Also, can be used WITHOUT a subscription though you also have cloud backup for a fee. The video… Read more ·  1

picture (2K) is excellent. Do not worry about the 16GB built in storage, because it has only used 2.81GB in those 165 days; so I can record for over 2 years without any trouble!

There was a minor issue with installation (ideally need to have a wifi router with ethernet), however I managed to do it by bootstrapping to a laptop hotspot and ethernet.

The app is also a bit difficult to navigate at first, however just about everything you will ever need is in it and eventually you can learn it. It's also possible that your video downloads are going to a server in China (but I don't care).

Genuinely 5/5 stars. Not perfect, but so close that I am happy to give it full marks. Pictures show charge and usage stats for my two cams.

UPDATE: 15 months update, just chargerd up for the third time (averaging ~5 months per charge). Storage is at 9.7GB out of 14.8GB storage. Still working amazing! Very happy!

Eufy Solocam Unobtainable Plastic Bracket – Bought the eufy Solocam 360 , okay with overall camera, battery did drain and the sun didn’t keep the battery topped up beyond 50% depends on the settings, but I guess I needed it on very basic settings to save power. separately which I find very inconvenient and is the weakest link in this type of camera. Eufy offered to send me a bracket but communicate dried up and now I dont have a bracket and communication is dead. So the camera is sitting in a box gathering dust. Searching eBay for a second hand one may take a while, Looking at other brands that have universal brackets that are easy to obtain and a camera system that doesn’t have a subscription. Anyone that has an original bracket I’d like to hear from you.

Credit where credit is due, the cameras work perfectly, super easy to connect and install but thats about where the positives end. The app is terrible, very rarely opens straight away. cameras thats pretty poor. The door bell takes so long to open whoever rang it is normally gone by the time it decides to work. Motion settings are useless, I've changed to the lowest setting and they have been on human only the entire time and still just constantly go off with Motion detected, almost never anything there. Turning off notifications for individual cameras is impossible. I use homebase2 but might get homebase3 if that will fix these problems but I doubt it.

At first was really pleased with these cameras. Unfortunately they miss so many events . I have them on the highest sensor setting to detect all motions and they can still miss my car coming in or out of the driveway. Both cameras missed both our cars this morning leaving the house. My concern i , they wont be working at the time we need them most. Total waste of money. Show details

Only had for a week, I'm happy with everything but I feel ripped off about the Ai facial recognition. Not excellent, but not too bad, or so I thought. After about six months I started having battery issues with one of the cameras. I checked all the settings and reduced the coverage area as suggested by their support team, even swapped location with other cameras to eliminate an environmental issue, but it was simply a bad battery. I didn’t have… Read more

Very short battery lifespan. Well under the 300 charging cycle lifespan promised in Eufy's own documentation. The battery charge also never lasted the claimed 180 days, even when using every power saving setting. I purchased a Eufy Cam 2C 3 camera set in November 2021. Initially the system worked quite well as long as the cameras are placed within… Read more

suitable range of the Homebase. Recordings were clear and the motion detection worked well. After about 12 months a full battery charge started lasting shorter and shorter. The two cameras I have placed outside, which record on average 5 events a day, are now needing to be charged every 3-4 weeks. The third camera, which is placed inside, completely loses charge after 2 days and switches off. This camera is rarely set to motion detection, and records 1-2 events a week. I contacted Eufy customer support regarding this camera in particular and provided all the evidence they requested. I was informed the device was faulty beyond repair, however because it was outside the 12 month warranty period all Eufy could offer me was 15% off a new add-on camera, even though the device did not even come close to it's promised lifespan with evidence to prove this. If the cameras need to be replaced every 2-3 years then they are definitely not worth the cost, even with a 15% discount. Overall a regrettable purchase.

Limited wireless range – I have bought Eufy 2c system with 4 cameras. The positives are, good quality image, no need for cloud storage, simple installation with no wiring required, good night vision . The Big and only negative which made me give it this rating is the wireless range which is limited to no more than 6 metres if you want reliable connection (18ft) . … Read more

Eufy stated that the system can cover a range of 50ft which is not accurate. This limited me to make choice weather I connect the front or the back of the house . Eufy needs to come up with a solution to increase the wireless range of the Homebase to the cameras as it is different than the wifi range in the house. If I knew that I wouldn't have bought the system. The system will work good for small shop or office or to cover only one part of the house like either front or back

recorded videos would disappears from the log after you view them.

I thought it was a storage or settings issue but this was far from the truth.

This would happen: 1. Receive notification that someone/something was detected. 2. Click on notification. 3. App opens and you can view playback. 4. If you click on Events, there is nothing.

The eufy customer support team tried to troubleshoot (we tried everything possible) and could not seem to find a solution.

If you search the internet you will see this is a known issue. Some people have resolved the issue and others not.

I ended up returning the system because it did not suit my needs as I was unable to view recorded videos more than once.

Motion detection does not work – Cameras worked great initially. Annoying that the cameras need to connect to the Homebase, rather than the Wifi, which limits how far apart they can be (we have range extenders for the wifi so it reaches everywhere).
