Seriously disappointed. The cutting blades loose their cut very quickly. It turns what was once a quick job into a real task. Even when removing all the fat and sinew it still clogs up the blade. Show details

Prepared to go deaf!!! – Works fine, minces great... but you will need to buy ear plugs because it is very loud... deafening loud... Also can only use in intervals so motor doesn't burn out

Perfect for home meat processing! – We were looking for a meat grinder to make our own mincemeat and sausages. Initially we thought we would require a powerful, expensive commercial meat grinder, but after some research found the Eurochef 1800W grinder - at an extremely reasonable price of $159. We thought it was worth a go. The description of the components and the design… Read more

looked and sounded like it would meet our needs.

We ordered on-line from Kogan and it arrived within their estimated delivery time.

We have since used it several times and can say:

1. It is noisy and my partner uses earplugs when operating it, but he is very careful about protecting his hearing !

2. Although the user guide says to only use it for 10 minute intervals, it is surprising just how much you can mince in less than 10 minutes so isn't an issue for us at all.

3. The quality of the fittings and the machine itself is much better than we expected. Sturdy and easy to assemble, disassemble and clean.

4. Operation of the machine is very easy.

5. The quality of the finished product (mince) is excellent. The machine grinds the meat very well, both coarse and fine.

6. The Sausage-making option is very easy to set up and use. The meat comes through the machine at a good steady pace - not too fast - making the filling of the sausage casing with the meat mix much easier than we thought it would be!

Overall we are very happy with the machine. Aside from the noise we think it's great value for money and we are glad we didn't end up spending a small fortune on a commercial model.

Black streak in sausage – Didn't notice it at first but when we started grinding white meat (chicken and pork) there is this black stuff inside. Its because of the metal parts grinding against each other. Noticed there is a similar review about this. Is the manufacturer addressing this because it is very concerning. Just got the grinder 2 months ago but cannot find the manufacturer's website

Inside metal grindel leave a black powder mark through sausages! – When you grind the meat, it leaves a black powder mark throughout center of sausage meat. The metal that turns before meat goes through the opening causes this black powder mark. Even when the meat is cooked the discoloring, black color, shows in the center of sausage! It looks like the aluminum turning part is very poor quality and its not… Read more

appetizing at all! It doesn't look healthy and cannot be.

We tried over two years several ties thinking it will improve but decided to stop using this device in case we get sick!
