toy that does not last long – It's all a bit flimsy from the start, tips included. Hose too short to be practical. It dispenses steam but not to an effect that could not be achieved by normal cleaning practices. So not providing much benefit at the best of times. After a while the trigger did not work anymore. Was told to sent it back to them (at my cost of course). Could not give a quote of what it might cost. Decided to put it where it belongs: into the rubbish bin!

Purchased in for $1,000.

Good while it lasted ((3 uses and 18 months) – Bought this steam cleaner as there weren't many semi-commercial ones in this price bracket available in Perth. Used it to mainly clean a commercial kitchen for which it did a good job. Great steam pressure and heat. Seemed sturdy during use and got a decent amount of time out of it before having to refill the water tank and wait for it to reheat. I put it in storage after two or three major uses and after taking it out for another use, 18 months from the initial purchase, the steam wand has stopped working. Took it to eurogem and their solution is to replace the wand ($160). Brings the initial purchase price up to about $1200-$1300....

Also lost the replacement tips and new ones from the supplier cost $50 for 4 which was super dear.

In conclusion, good while it lasted but now that it's broken down after 18 months I don't think it was a good value purchase. Spare parts are dear and unfortunately nowhere else to buy them from.

Purchased in for $1,200.

Excellent – Decided on this rather than a TR6 or TR5 because we wanted to be sure it had the capability. A TR6 would probably have been sufficient but we have no regrets because the Euro 4000 is so good. We had a critical need to remove an oil-based wood stain from clay paving. Furious scrubbing with turps or detergents had no effect and wore us out. The steamer blasted it all away in an hour, leaving everything clean and undamaged. Since then, we have removed mould from more pavers, cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, extensive glass windows and tiled floors, stovetops, oven glass and a baking tray. It takes time to set up and put away but steam is a magical cleaner. Very powerful, compact and fairly easy to handle. Really gets the job done. The several parts make it like trying to organise a vacuum cleaner without built-in storage.

Excellent – You cannot get pass this one for a heavy duty domestic unit. Arguably the most powerful using a 10 amp outlet. Apart from what normal uses other reviewers have put it to, I use it also for a chemical-free way of weed control in my backyard and the hood attachment (wallpaper stripper) is handy (still requires a bit of patience) for that purpose. For carpet cleaning alone, you might like to consider the higher model with vacuum wet suction.

As with all steam cleaners, do not expect it to pick up every kind of dirt at one go (a lot depends on the accessory or mopping cloth being used--mine came with a cotton cloth--and the large clamps on the floor tool makes it easy to swap to whatever suitable mopping cloth you like; and the easy change of accessories also helps). Usual precautions with high temperature steam apply, especially with sensitive surfaces and glass panels. Continuous use of hot water blasting will empty the tank rapidly, but your finger will tire out much sooner.

3 years of ownership and no regret. Powerful and longer lasting steam; hot water blast option; generous range of accessories for almost any perceivable steam cleaning job; robust construction. This is among the tools I have bought that do not feel like a toy. It is slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. The hot water switch requires a fair bit of continuous finger pressure to operate (the separate steam switch is the normal toggle one); the main unit is on the hefty side probably because of the heavy construction and larger reservoir; the carpet slide takes some practice to put on; there is no external water level indicator (the refilling process is more like topping up car batteries) but you can gauge the amount of water required when the unit is empty; the warning lights are not particularly bright in exterior use; lack of storage for attachments is a minor inconvenience unless you need constant changing of accessories.
