black accents not stainless, so it came down to a Smeg and the Euromaid black glass model for aesthetics, though the Bosch build and reliability still had me. In conversation with the one out of the 3 sales people who had a clue, I learned that Euromaid units use some critical Bosch parts, i.e. motor etc. The Euromaid ticket showed a marginally higher water usage than than the Smeg, but the Euromaid seemed more solidly constructed, and given that I had experienced difficulty getting parts for a previous Smeg product I took a punt on the Euromaid. Installation could not have been easier, pretty much plug and play - out with the LG and in with the Euromaid. It looks excellent - aesthetically speaking, complements the rest of the kitchen as planned - the Bosch would not have achieved this. First wash was the one the LG failed to manage, and was put through on the longer "Intense" program, with a good result. The machine was very quiet, less noisy on startup and run than the LG I would have to say, and the wash was completed as per the estimated duration. Dishes were very clean and drying was on a par with the LG, however one breakfast fork required recleaning - I think because it was sitting around all day with dried food on it, had it been wiped properly initially it would have been OK.

As the title suggests its early days yet, but so far so good, will update should this change!

Great dishwasher in black – After installing a new black kitchen we wanted a Black dishwasher to match. We removed a higher priced SS Bosch dishwasher and found the Euromaid washes better. In addition to the cutlery basket which has an innovative design that can fit over the vertical grills, has another cutlery drawer on the top of dishwasher that's handy for expensive cutlery to avoid contact between each other.

The button has a stainless steel mesh filter along with two inner core plastic ones comparable with any other high quality washer which is easy to clean.

The programmable buttons are on the inner top side of the door with illuminated cycle options. Once the door is closed only the front panel discreet LEDs show the cycle is in progress which adds to the sleek looks of the front panel unlike other dishwashers that have a control panel section on that top with buttons that collect dirt and look unpleasant.

The drain hose is internally connected and not user replaceable with factory advise of ten years life span. The hose features an electronic Aquastop that defects actual leak in the line and stops the machine that's ideal for apartments or kitchens with carpet or floorboards to prevent costly leakage damage.

The cycles are very silent compared with similar cost Fisher and Paykel or LG products that I've used.

Overall looks and works great despite being slightly expensive. Comes with two years factory warranty which I wish was five so extended product care is a good idea because average cost of Dishwasher repair of any brand often exceeds $300 which is far more than any extended warranty.

Disappointed – Very disappointed with my euromaid dishwasher. Tossed up between euromaid and bosch as always had bosch. Purchased dec 16th 2017 3 weeks later just humming. Home appliances come out tip it on its side and adjust legs. Now 3wks later again and same problem and now tell me coming tomorrow  Show details

great price great product – Great dishwasher efficient reasonably quiet love the black door heavy but it feels sturdy which I like very happy with it very sleek inside so u can fit a lot in comes with cutlery basket and rack i took the rack out and jist use basket very happy with it  Show details ·  1

Faulty brand new dishwasher x 2 – First Dishwasher failed after 1 week ,replaced part , worked for 2 weeks,failed again , demanded replacement new dishwasher, new dishwasher installed, worked for 3 weeks, 2nd dishwasher failed a second time. Don't buy a Euromaid dishwasher , the after sales service & communication is far far less than adequate .. they don't communicate with their customer.

When fault reported both times I was told by Euromaid "customer care"a part has been ordered , cannot understand how a part could be ordered when a technician had not diagnosed the problem .. both times not looked at in the home by technician.
