Waste of money
Just bought this product from harvey norman last year , it stopped working completely, called the customer service team raised the issue , they said they will send someone to have a look, 2 weeks no one came then called again they gave the next week time , ok
Service technician came that day checked and said need parts to replace and he said it will be fix next week , after two week i called again and now they are saying the parts will come after two months.
Its more then a month now we are cooking without ranghood.
And my god customer service team is very rude they have no answers. Will never recommend someone to buy euromaid products and definitely not going to buy again . Waste of money and time .
Great but no lights
Purchase this rangehood and no complaints but the lights have stopped working and not sure how to replace them. Is there a store I can buy them from or any number to call.

I originally posted a one star review for some issues I had with the fan cutting in and out after about 4 years of average use . I am pleased to say this was rectified by an efficient customer support team . I did deduct a star as we have always found it to be quite noisy
5 years old, fan and light had stopped working. Resolved by power reset.
Love the curved glass appearance of this rangehood and the easy to clean filters. However the fan is quite noisy, even on the low setting.
It has not been used much, and the FAN and LIGHT had stopped working. The clock still worked. I found that by turning the POWER off and on at the Fuse Box, it all started working again. The fault guide in the "User manual" does not suggest it, but many modern electrical/electronic device problems are resolved by a simple power reset. Note that in many cases, due to the curved glass, the backsplash and tiling for this rangehood is custom made, which would be an added cost if replacement is required.
Product parts should last more than 5 years at this price range.
Extraction fans are very noisy & not effective unless on highest range .Downlights not now working & not able to just replace bulbs as it is a built in system. The whole lighting system has failed. Good local electrician charges $95 only to call & find fault but advises company spares are expensive, difficult to refit & would cost $395-00 to repair which is too expensive just to have a downlight.
So will buy a bright LED free standing light for $30-00 as a replacement. Will never again buy Euromaid or any appliance unless easy repair on replacement parts.

Bought this because really liked the design and style, wish knew the performance as well.
Bought it brand new from Harvey Norman when we renovated our kitchen and it is just over 5 years old.
Always used it with care and kept it clean as much as possible. It worked fine for first 3 years and since then started giving trouble. From making unreasonably loud noise to stopping for few seconds on it's own. It didn't bother us much since it was still working, until recently when it stopped working all together suddenly.

I have had the range hood for a couple of years and have used it very little due to both my wife and me working a lot. When you pay $500 dollars you expect to get longer use than this. Power is still getting to it as the clock is still working but nothing else is. None of the panel buttons are doing anything. Pretty poor workmanship and this seems to be a common thread
Rangehood CF6BLS- Not Happy
I bought rangehood model number CF6BLS from Harvey Norman and couple of years ago. I dont think from day 1 it was very effective in suction. Now suddenly it has stopped working and I called service center and they advised $99 callout fees and $22 for every 10 minutes labour charge and any part would be on top of that. I paid $499 for new rangehood and just to service it would could me around $300 which is ridiculous.My previous rangehood worked for years before I got this one.
I wouldnt recomend toanyone. NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Loved it until recently
My unit has performed well in until recently. I have always maintained it well and kept it very clean. I noticed the motor making a squealing noise a month ago and today the motor stopped completely. I paid $550 for this at Harvey Norman, I am not a happy customer. I am not looking forward to the phone calls, repair bill and/or replacement.
Ok for what it does
I got this hood as part of a kitchen upgrade in 2017.
What I like about it
Stylish, easy to clean, uses hard stainless offset air direction filters rather than mesh screen types.
What I dont like about it
Its noisy and the digital clock does not keep time, It speeds up time. The clock advances time each day making me think these people did not factor in our voltage and frequencies in Australia very well.
Im living with these issues, as if we dont have enough clocks in a house. The noise , well what do you do?
Been good so far
We purchased the glass Canopy Rangehood about 5 Months ago, so far we have no issues with it,
even though it's been working full time in My Kitchen, I wanted to get a Rangehood that didn't use filters
so the Euromaid was the best one for us. It's easy to clean and I love the LCD buttons, it's very stylish, was a bit expensive to install it cost me more to install it then buying the unit it self but it's been great so far and powerful.
I highly recommend it, very happy with it!

My Euromaid Range hood is 6 years old. It is very noisy, making a screeching high pitch noise when in operation. The electrician who looked at it said it cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced. Range hood usually last more than 6 years. We had an old one lasted for 30 years. We replaced it because we renovated our kitchen. Please let me know can it be fixed.

Purchased 26/6/16 always noisy but worked fine until yesterday Intermittent fan speed changes and stopping without any controls being touched. Fan won't operate unless lights turned on, fan not running on a stable speed. Dying then building up speed only to slow down again every second?? Is this a known fault? Seems to be a problem with electronics and to make it worse we bought 2 of them, can we expect the second unit which is only used occasionally to go the same way?
