Very good washing machine – We've had the Euromaid DW24S washing machine (stainless steel model) for approx 4 years. We use it approx 6 times per week. Overall, it has worked very well. There has been no defects or problems with the machine.

Pleasantly surprised – I've used a lot of dishwashers (many different brands, including some European) in my time so I feel like I am not overstating things when I say I think this one is the best one so far. I must say I would never have picked it myself, being a bit of a brand snob - it was chosen by the property manager when the existing dishwasher in our rental… Read more

property went kaput.

It is a very basic design - no digital display, no beeps when it is finished. And no child lock, which is a problem for those with toddlers. However, it does prove that it is easy to operate, because my two year old figured out in about 30 seconds exactly what combination of buttons to press to get it going, the dear little soul.

But the machine cleans beautifully and best of all, fits my large dinner plates and chopping boards in the bottom rack easily with room to spare for the arm to whirl around over the top. I have only ever had one other dishwasher that fitted these plates in without me having to carefully arrange them at the very sides of the rack so that the arm didn't hit the top of them (an older model standard design F&P).

It is also somewhat Tardis-like in that I cannot see how the racks or the unit itself is any bigger than any other dishwasher, but it seems to fit so much more inside it. I am accustomed to having a surplus of dirty dishes on the sink that either need to be hand washed or wait for the next load, depending on how lazy I am feeling. My sink is now clear and I am consequently not running the dishwasher as often. At the moment it is only partially filled, waiting for more dirty dishes and cups to fill it before it is worth running another load, which for me is a huge novelty.

Another reviewer mentioned having trouble getting plasticware dry in this machine. I had the same problem initially but realised I didn't have enough rinse aid in the machine. Topped it up, no more problems.

On the basis of my experience with this dishwasher, I will certainly consider Euromaid when buying appliances in the future. Fits large dinner plates, cleans well. No child lock. Rinse aid is a bit fiddly to pour in, I seem to have to dribble it in bit by bit, quite slowly, or it overflows everywhere.

Still Going Strong – I bought my current house with the dishwasher already in place. According to the real estate agent, the kitchen was renovated just over two years ago. The dishwasher seems to be ticking along rather nicely and I've only had to re-wash two specific items - a chopping board that seems to refuse to let go of anything (even if I wash it by hand) and… Read more

one of my "non-stick" oven trays, which like the chopping board seems to prefer to stay dirty.

I agree that the top shelf is a bit tight for space, but I've managed to cope without losing any sleep over it. I do wish the bottom rack could be folded flat too and it doesn't seem to successfully dry plastic items, however anything made of glass, metal or ceramic has never come out anything but dry.

Undoubtedly it is not the most refined dishwasher ever made and is a bit louder than others I've heard, but it does the job. Easy to operate, seems to not need cleaning very often, the drawers never pop out, no silly beeps or music. Bottom rack can't be reconfigured, doesn't dry most plastic items, can't insert wine glasses upright in the top rack.

Rust spots on stainless steel door panel – In less than 18 months the front stainless steel panel has a number of rust spots on it. Poor quality stainless steel. Even the MCG Microwave does not work and has been waiting at Endeavour Refrigeration for 5 weeks to be fixed under Warranty. Still have not received the necessary parts. Very unreliable company to deal with. Take my advice and look at other products. Never choose Euromaid Terrible warranty service

Don't buy!! – We purchased the DW24S in June and are seriously regretting it. The top shelf doesn't fit glasses properly - anything taller than about 12 cm falls over, nor does it allow you to stand bread plates or cereal bowls like most. The next model up apparently has this feature...but the ability to drop the shelf down a few cms would have made a big… Read more

difference. Regardless of what wash cycle you choose, it's a struggle to get pots clean and VERY RARELY do all of the items (top and bottom) dry. In case you're wondering, I rinse all dishes/cutlery well before placing the DW so there's really no excuse for the poor performance. I've tried opening the door at varying lengths of time after the DW has stopped, sometimes 5-6 hours later...still not dry. One thing you can guarantee- you'll need a tea towel to dry your glasses/dishes at the end.

Purchase at your peril !! Good size cutlery basket Doesn't wash dishes properly. Doesn't fit medium to large glasses or bowls/bread plates in top shelf.

Look no further – This diswasher looks great, works great and has all the added features. It is quiet and easy to use. I can not recommend the DW24S highly enough reliable, inexpensive, energy effcient, looks great
