then the excuse of no service man in area (I’m in Rockhampton area) and that it would cost me $195 to be repaired. I purchased this washing machine so that I had something that would last me a while - 2 months out from warranty, to be told the above.

Not happy. Somehow I now need to come up with $195 to replace the seal (also happened with a friends machine) or a few hundred dollars to buy a new machine (oops I’ll just pull that out of my backside). So by the time I do that I would of spent double that at the local laundromat to wash our clothes. Not happy at all with the service and will not be recommending Euromaid to anyone.

Never ever buy a Euromaid washing machine – Euromaid/Glen Dimplex offers intolerable or next to no customer service when something goes wrong with their products! have detailed below the sequence and timeline to illustrate my points.

7 April 2021 - Logged a call with Euromaid/Glen Dimplex that the washing machine was not working, the barrel was no longer spinning.

15 April 2021 - A service agent comes to inspect the machine and makes an assessment that it should be replaced. It takes 1 week to just get a service agent to attend!

20 April 2021 - After repeated calls to Euromaid/ Glen Dimplex (each call takes around 20 mins to get through, some take as long as 40 mins), Euromaid/ Glen Dimplex agree to offer a replacement machine, saying that they have stock of the unit and will be delivered in the coming days.

11 May 2021 - After 3 weeks of follow up calls and various excuses/lies/miscommunication about the machine being in stock, being in a warehouse, being in Melbourne, coming from Brisbane, going to a Sydney warehouse etc..., a service agent contacts me to say they have the replacement machine and wish to deliver it to me on 14 May 2021. I asked if it can be delivered earlier, as I will be going to Melbourne on 14 May 2021 for the week. I was told that they only deliver to my area on a Friday.

22 May 2021 - After 7 weeks without a functioning washing machine and over 6 calls to Euromaid/Glen Dimplex to follow up progress, I am forced to succumb to my partner's frustrations for over 7 weeks without a functioning washing machine and over $130 in laundering costs and buy a new washing machine from Harvey Norman. It is arranged and delivered immediately.

Euromaid/ Glen Dimplex, treating customers like this will surely leave total disdain for your brand and I can't see how anyone would be a supporter of your products.

I can only recommend that people stay totally away from any of your products.

Quick to breakdown- very poor customer service under warranty – The washing machine stopped working and didn't drain cycle. breakdown and reporting to Euromaid. The washing machine has still not been repaired. I will not recommend Euromaid for these reasons; faulty products and poor customer service.

Awful quality and poor customer service – Purchased machine 8 months ago and seal for door has broken. Was ok til then. Now leaks water everywhere. Took the warranty people nearly a week to tell me they wouldn’t bother fixing it because I must’ve broken it. Useless instruction manual, poor customer service – I have a 10kg front loader and the instruction manual is rubbish. Very poorly translated and therefore difficult to understand. I have been trying to work out how to save my favourite wash settings so I don't have to press eight buttons every time I wash, and the instructions make no sense. to press for 3 seconds to store wash settings but there's nothing to actually press, and the manual gives a different set of instructions using buttons which don't exist. An email to Euromaid resulted in the same manual being emailed to me (after waiting nearly a week for a reply) and a request for further information has gone unanswered. A pity as the washer is actually quite good, but I cant explore its full potential owing to the poor instructions. I have posted a question on this website which has also gone unanswered. After writing this review I gave the company a chance to respond prior to publishing the review but there has been no response.
