It looks good and that was my wife’s reason for choice. From day 1 the grill function was faulty and kept tripping the fuse box. When I requested warranty assistance the repair company had trouble. They ordered a replacement element but it was faulty when they tested it. A second one was also faulty. They’re waiting on a third to be shipped and… Read more

they’ll test it before installing. Now 4 months after installation it’s still not fully functional. Warranty will expire before it’s repaired! Also the gas cook top is not as effective as our previous Smeg. Burners do not get very hot. We are limited basically to the main large burner for effective heat. Would not recommend.

Beautiful stove - Tiny inefficient ovens – I waited 10 months for the delivery of my 'dream stove,' a 110 cm, all gas Falcon classic. I love how it looks in my kitchen. Everyone wants to take it home with them. And I love how the doors open out. The burners, are great. The ovens, however, are too small in both directions - width & depth. Sadly, I can't get my favourite roasting pans or… Read more

cookie sheets into them. Forget using throw away aluminium roasting pans. They don't fit. I have to turn the pans every 30 minutes because the placement of the flames cooks everything at the back and minimally in front. The grill never has never fit properly on top - it won't balance - and so I have never been able to use it. An esthetically beautiful stove. A lovely centerpiece for your kitchen, but if you are an avid cook, I recommend you go for a different stove, maybe with a single chef's oven.

FALCON OVEN VERY UNEVEN COOKING – This oven looks amazing and we saved for a long time to be able to purchase - cost $7494 from Harvey norman. plus - looks amazing, gas stove top is fantastic negative - electric oven cooks very unevenly, will burn on one side of tray and pale uncooked on other side - biscuits, cakes, pork belly, roasts, even fish and chips. you have to turn it… Read more

all the time, be aware when you open the oven you get a HUGE billowing cloud of heat and steam and must stand back so you do not get burnt. (we have been burnt a few times)

We have had technician out to inspect response was, "the oven is heating, fan forced feature is running, seal is fine, door closes, all guards and heat shields are working fine".

I was told via email from andico from Falcon there is nothing electrically wrong with it. So it must be a design flaw??????? or we got a dud!!!! and they will do nothing about it, we are so disappointed in Falcon and andico response. Initial phone call 7/3/22 and was told by Ryan that no this is not normal and should not be happening and we will send out a technician ......after many emails and phone calls - final response was 7/722. with no help whatsoever.

My westinghouse with the buggered seals and 20 years old cooked better than this oven.

I love to cook and this oven has made me hate cooking.

so sad and out of pocket Lou

ps: ANDICO AND FALCON - you have all my details and I would love you to contact me and fix my issue - I just want what I paid for - a oven that cooks evenly please.

Purchased in 2008 but nothing but issues arose once warranty ran out – Purchased for the nostalgic appearance but issues arose as soon as the warranty ran out. All the brass dial instructions were erased, the brass knobs became pitted and would fall off, the second oven is not much chop, my mum's had her oven 22 years. The repair man said one of the gas burners was the incorrect one and should never have been used… Read more

and was dangerous, rubber seals melted, not room enough to list all the defects .Poor quality all round and very hard to clean, rubber seals on stovetop melt, the wok burner doesn't work. Repair man says it's rubbish!

Disappointing – Quite expensive, and looked great when new, but a few years later we're very disappointed with the quality. The metal plating came off various plastic parts, the plate warmer stopped working (not repairable), the text came off the dials, rubber seals on stovetop melted. The stovetop is hard to clean, and the burners are all very feeble. On the plus side, the fan forced oven is very good, but sadly, the second oven is hopeless. Show details

Fabulous – This is my second falcon range cooker and I love this one just as much as the first. It looks beautiful, cooks beautifully and is the perfect addition to my kitchen. Also very happy to be back on induction. So much cleaner and quicker than gas. Show details ·  1

Outstandingly good ... except – I'm reviewing the Falcon Classic DeLuxe 110 dual fuel. I’ve only given this cooker 4 stars, but compared to any other cooker I’ve owned or used (quite a lot) it’s definitely 5 star. I wouldn’t want to put you off buying it, but I do feel there are a couple of points where it let’s itself down, hence 4 stars and on a bad day I could say 3. So, I… Read more ·  1

guess it’s 4 stars compared to what it could be rather than comparing to a different cooker.

Okay, start with the good.

It’s a gas cooktop that can simmer properly. Probably the only one I’ve ever used.

It has a proper fan oven and a multifunction oven that, of course, includes a fan oven but also all the other ways of using it. When I say ‘a proper fan oven’, I mean something better than the fan-assisted junk a lot of makers use just as a selling point. I can put 4 trays of bread rolls in one oven and have them cook evenly.

The fan ovens are amazingly quiet and they heat up quickly. I have had to drop the temperature and the cooking time of all the breads I make by quite a large amount.

The oven timer is easy to set.

Really, anything I don’t mention below is very good or excellent and I recommend this cooker - especially if you bake a lot.

A tip: I changed my bottle gas regulator and the medium sized gas burner now boils a litre of water 40 seconds more quickly. Of course, it’s noticeable in other cooking too.

Two things that I really don’t like and that could be improved.

1: There is a very attractive towel rail along the front of the cooker. It looks great in the shop. At home it’s a different story. It obscures the controls and lights along the front and it’s a lot worse when there are towels or cloths hanging on it. I just left it off otherwise it makes the cooker very difficult to use: I had to keep bending down to see what the controls were set to.

2: The trivet or pan support is one where it’s easy to put down a smallish pot or pan (or slide it to somewhere) and have it tip. This is really bad and even Smeg can get that right these days, so surely Falcon could. Also, and a lot less important, the top of the trivet/support is made of castings which aren’t quite flat so pans can wobble a bit - not really a problem.

A couple of even less important things The timer beeper is too quiet to hear. I don’t like the gap between the oven temperature dials and the mark showing the temperature - anyway why not digital controls these days? There’s no backup power for the clock. Every time the power goes off, the clock has to be reset. You can’t use the ovens without setting the clock. Surely that’s pretty easy to install.

If you like cooking and have the room and the money, go for this. It’s a really great cooker.

Exactly what I wanted – Looks great in the kitchen (we chose the option of white doors). The induction controls are great - knobs so much easier and more intuitive than touch controls. Ovens heat up quickly and cook evenly. The griller space is a bit tight for heating plates from the heat of the oven beneath, but that's not really what it's for! Very happy after about six weeks. Show details ·  1

Great cooker and looks good too – I bought my Falcon Induction Cooker after much soul searching due to the cost but I have found it very easy to use and functional. I hadn't cooked using induction before but I'm not a true convert. I love everything about this Cooker and very happy that I made the decision to purchase it. Show details ·  1

Very Happy! – Classic 110cm LPG gas oven Very happy! Hi, Have had my Classic 110cm LPG gas oven for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. Cook top adjusts from keeping… Read more ·  1

something warm to a hard boil on every jet. Ovens cook beautiful from roast to pavlova, have used it everyday and had two ovens and cook top going at once. Less important to me, but not for others, it is a beautiful looking oven as well, I bought Cranberry colour. Worth every cent!

Bella the Beautiful – I'm very satisfied with all aspects of my stove - having had a large double ovened combustion stove for the past 25 yrs, this stove has replaced her beautifully. I was worried about the induction cook top, but have found it very easy to use and am amazed at the control of the hobs. I am extremely happy with my Falcon oven – I have had my Falcon gas oven installed over 2 months now and have plenty of time to get to know it. I love the fact I have 2 good size ovens, a gas grill and the bonus feature of the griddle on the stove top. I wasn't sure about my oven not being fan forced, but the heat distribution is wonderful, a roast is perfect, muffins and biscuits are… Read more ·  1

perfect too. My biggest surprise is how well the griddle works, it cooks steaks perfectly. The size and number of gas rings are perfect for whatever I am cooking. I know how important these reviews are when buying a big item, so I can highly recommend Falcon.

Very good oven - worth the money – The overall performance of the oven(s), grill and hot plate is very good. It cooks evenly and works very well as long as you have a designated 63AMP circuit. Anything less and it will struggle to heat multiple hot plates while the oven is on. Even and accurate cooking every time. The one negative thing is the heat vents on the back of the… Read more

plate (that sits against the wall). Sometimes small ingredients from cooking can fall into these vents - think frozen peas size! From what I can see you can't actually clean inside the vent or remove the cover without pulling the whole oven out away from the wall.
