Great Service and Product – Very happy with the product, from initial contact to the install, they were polite and very easy to deal with. I am surprised with the negative reviews here, I guess there is always a few but its the few that actually leave a review.

Do not have anything to do with this company – I am sorry I even had to tick the one star on this I’m reviewing the Yatala store in Qld Australia Please PLEASE have nothing to do with this company We aren’t even the worse affected by them After contacting our lawyer we learnt a LOT more about this company and realise we got out lightly after what they’ve done to others Find another company these guys are nothing but FRAUDS!

WARNING. Fences r us r USELESS – 3 mo delay in starting. 2 deliveries of wood. 1 sat on footpath for months. Told them to get it b4 people steal. Too late they did. Worst $20,000 I spent.

Omg run run run do not put yourself through the stress wish I could put No stars! – Product faulty don’t repair after 12 months even though they say 30 year warranty pvc I wish I never ever used them worst contractors I ever used they don’t return calls

Don’t use this company – I had questioned this company before we went ahead with it and I wish I stuck to my gut they installed our fence faulty they have been back to fix 4 different problems and one of the problems they are now saying is our fault and trying to charge us to fix when the installer told us his apprentice didn’t install it properly and the chemset snapped… Read more

Would give negitive 5 stars if i could – Wouldn't recommend them . Poor communication skills, poor workmanship took 10mths to complete fence that was quoted 5 days 10 attempts to rectify 10 different crews & still crappy work QBCC involved

Poor Quality, unreliable and time consuming – The quality of the material used was poor in particular the large poles-the poles arrived warped which the workers straightened. A month onwards and the poles had returned to their original position which pulled the entire fence outward creating a crooked fence. a nightmare. Numerous phone calls and a change of workers due to "personal issues". Often I had waited at home and no worker had shown up to fix the fence even after I had called several days in a row to organise this. The project took a lot longer, many weeks in fact and it was clear that after they had been paid they showed absolutely no customer care.

Worst experience of quality and service i have ever seen – fence was meant to be done in 5 days took nearly 3 months, panels put back to front, poor quality poor finish, rubbish and off cuts left behind after job , all gates made to wrong size as per the quote. workers would start late finish early and some day not even show up. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

poor attention to detail – Multiple Issues. They asked us to start early, so we removed our old fence, and on the start date they hadn't even ordered the materials. We asked for hardwood rails, Pine rails were delivered. They told us we couldn't have hardwood rails on metal posts. close a gate. They attached the posts to the neighbours fence and damaged ours and the neighbours retaining walls. He only used 2 hinges on the 2 metre fence, so the gates dropped after 2 weeks. We had to put in extra hinges. He didn't put in all the bolts in the 2 hinges he did use. The gate is set back and not level with the rest of the fence. it is too high off the ground so dogs can get under, main need for fence was dog containment. the upright posts aren't upright, so there is a gap at the top of the pedestrian gate and fence. the whole experience was very stressful and we have to live with a dodgy looking front fence.

fences r us be careful with scheduling works – Please do not even think about it. a 2 day job taking over a week installer did not know the scope of works installer doesn't answer phones trade doesn't turn up for days installer unaware of product installation stressed and worry about the installation process and how it is going to look or ever finish. Very concerned and worried

Unreliable - do not use – Very unprofessional and uncoordinated. No site foreman, therefore individual contractors did not understand the scope of works. Multiple errors - job blew out by many weeks. Tradesmen often did not turn up for days. Use another company.

A Mixed Bag - highly sketchy – Fences R Us came in quite competitively and while they were a little delayed, it was within the realm of acceptable. Communication between the company and their contractors was poor as to scope of work and I am glad I was onsite to monitor the work. The work done was average, but acceptable. after the work was completed and were informed the company has another owner and therefore won't honour the warranty. Highly sketchy.

Do Not Consider This Company – Worst experience ever. What should have taken a week to construct took just over 3 weeks. Again, stay well away from this company if you are looking for someone to construct your fence and landscaping.

Well worth their time and effort, worth every cent! – The team attended in a timely manner (in accordance with the tenant in the home who has been a little difficult to organise entry with) and left the premises in neat and tidy condition, the finished work was fantastic and exactly to my specification. Well worth their time and effort, worth every cent!

Worst experience of my life – The owner would not complete the work to a satisfactory standard and then screamed at me saying he was going to sue me. Am waiting for my day in court.

Unprofessional – Our Body Corporate contracted Fences R Us to build a new boundary fence. They did not disclose that they used contract labour and the 8 day contract to build the fence took 18 days because they frequently moved the workers to other jobs. There were no delays caused by weather. No one from Fences R Us visited the site at any stage to check on… Read more

progress or the workmanship. Communication from the company was non existent and we had to contact them all of the time. We requested a site visit on several occasions but they never eventuated. Once the Contract was signed they left it up to the contract labourers on site and we even had to explain to them where to start the job. We finally received a site visit after the fence was completed and only because we withheld the final payment until we received the visit to complete a final check of the fence. That visit resulted in a repair to part of the fence. Luckily, the workers who built the fence did a satisfactory job but we would not recommended Fences R Us as they were very unprofessional.
