Disappointing – Went alright for a few years but now, after plugging in and out for a while the screen is black and the on switch is permanently white.(light.) I have been told you cannot get spare parts for tv and technician is very expensive,I can't help wondering if it is something simple to fix and I am throwing out a good tv,,if I put them out for pickup(… Read more

Warning DO NOT BUY. This TV is not strong enough to wall mount. Look at its poor quality thin frame. It falls forward/flexes under its own weight on a correctly installed wall mount! This causes the screen to develop a crack & the manufacturer FFalcon will not honour its warranty in the case of a cracked screen because they maintain YOU damaged… Read more

Service is nil – Bought a falcon 55 inch tv(Made by tcl). The channels 92 to 93 when changing it blacks out.If I turn it off then on it comes back on.Called tcl service and was told to go through a few things ie channel changing, turning off and on etc etc.after 25min I said to them I need a serviceman to come out,but was told that i need to get a antenna bloke… Read more

out, mind you we are on cable which i told them and was told that must be faulty and are not sending anybody out. I had a smaller tv there before and it was ok.i have 3 other tv's in the house. All work fine.So make up your own mind but Tcl offer a warranty but do not honor it.Very dishonest when it comes to service.

Been happy with mine even though I bought it second hand – My TV has not missed a beat so far. It's about 18 months old although I've only had it 2 months. The picture is really nice and the sound is good too unlike the dreadful Bauhn thing I bought from Aldi a couple of years ago. I've not seen any of the issues people speak of here. I am not a real multiple applications guy so I've not done much… Read more

beyond ebay, Youtube etc so I can't comment on that. I haven't even tuned to television stations yet so I can't comment on that either. If I have to get a $40 set top box to connect through HDMI it won't bother me. Some comments here are just wrong. For instance someone said that theirs only accepted numbers in the password field when connecting to their WIFI. Mine had no such issues and that would not vary from one set to another. I did find the remote a bit awkward to figure the functions of but I didn't get a manual with it. Anyway, I'm happy with mine. I only paid $150 for it so if it fails in six months I won't be too bothered. Was going to pick up something second hand for five or six hundred but I saw this on Facebook just around the corner from me and thought what the heck ? Seller was at the door holding the TV an hour later !

Don’t waste your money. Worst tv available – I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to warn others not to waste your money. It is just over 12mths later and we have had to buy a new tv as it simply doesn’t work anymore. From the day we got it the tv sound quality and connection issues were terrible. We tried to return it but the retailer wouldn’t let us as we had unboxed it. When you… Read more

press a button or change channels it takes around 8 seconds before it registers your request. This is the same with all the functions/ buttons on the remote. It seems the remote doesn’t talk to the tv properly. I contacted the warranty company when we first purchased it which gave some reset options but none worked and they wouldn’t provide a refund. It often just stops working and there is no option to use the tv without the control. No on/off button on the tv at all. We have been stuck with this extremely frustrating tv until it finally died today just over a year later. Spend the extra money and buy something else as it will cost more in the long run.

Fantastic quality for the price – I bought this TV from JB HIFI just over a month ago for $500 and I am very pleased and surprised with the quality of this TV. It’s a HDR 4K Smart TV, and the HD TV channels look fantastic. Standard definition don’t look amazing as you’d expect but they still hold up fine and once you watch them for a while you get used to them. The features are… Read more

great, Netflix is built in on the remote and it has a number of other applications including Stan, and the TV itself is also very light. It can easily be lifted by one person. I also have a Hisense 55” inch HD Smart TV which was around $700-$800 and I honestly can’t see much of a difference. I was skeptical purchasing this at first as Ffalcon was a “no brand” TV name to me (I later did some googling and found out this brand is backed by TCL), but I wanted something bigger for the lounge room, and I don’t regret my decision. I use it for normal TV, Netflix and Stan, and also use it to play video games which also look amazing, I couldn’t fault it. More than enough HDMI ports for what I need it for, and also has an ARC HDMI, so I could connect my already existing Soundbar. The speakers from the TV itself are fine, I didn’t notice any static or low buzzing, I just prefer to connect an external sound device for a clearer sound quality and more bass. Set up was easy, I didn’t have any issues and it connected to the wifi without any issues.

My only issues would be that the channel list/selection and guide is a bit slow which may be an issue for some but that’s really not a big deal to me. In addition, the TV legs are made of plastic so there is a bit of a flimsy wobble to the TV. If you have children I would definitely fix it to a wall mount to be safe.

All in all this TV is a 9/10 for me. For the size of the screen, and picture quality and the price I am more than pleased with this purchase.

5 years of great viewing, overall very good for the price – Just sold this screen after 5 years of use, was still working as new. Overall was a great screen for the price. Image was great and never developed any problems. Only issue was i started using a soundbar recently via the optical output and the sound would cut out and just not work right sometimes. Show details

Great tv works well – Sound quality is great. Setup was very easy. hocked it up to my fetch box and wifi with no dramas. Set up was approximately 10 minutes from the time i took it out of box. Picture quality is great. For lower price range of TVs it packs a punch worth every sent including delivery fee. The smart opions are great although i haven't had time to go… Read more

Terrible – I got it because it was cheap and mainly for gaming. It worked fine for 6 months but has been absolute garbage since. Incredibly slow and unresponsive interface. Annoying apps that you would never use and will randomly turn off then not turn back on. Tried to reset but it asked for a password i have never heard off.

Horrible tv – I brought one of there tvs at The good guys at Aspley. They are fine but the tv is hopeless. It keeps switching itself off. Freezers and gas line across it all the time. Disappointing – Have had this TV for 2 years - always had a problem with TV picking up the remote signals so purchased another remote, new batteries etc - no difference. Now that it has just gone over the 2 year warranty mark it is hit and miss as to whether it will turn on - and if it does it is after a lot of unplugging for certain amount of time and then… Read more

either pressing the TV on button in unison or holding the remote button for 30-60 seconds - usually works 2 days out of 7. It would appear other users of this system have had similar experiences. Would not recommend the purchase of this unit - extremely disappointing!

Don't waste your money – Brought this TV almost 2 yrs ago.... thinking it was a smart TV.. unfortunately it's not really a smart TV... yep you can get Netflix and Stan and Utube, but that it.... attempted to install Disney 7plus 9now... but unable to install as this television isn't compatible... Television also has a habit of turning itself off when you change the channels... save your money and pay that bit extra. Show details

Worst TV I have ever bought – Worst Tv ever, bought in Jan 2020, last few months kept turning itself off in the middle of a program, now just won’t work all won’t turn on. I’m a Pensioner and expect something like a TV to last a lot longer that it has, looking at the reviews these TVs should have been recalled and we should have got a refund, now I have to go and buy a new TV, something that I didn’t really want to do, I definitely won’t be going to JB Hi Fi for a new one Show details

FFalcon has no wings – Have had it for 2years and just put it out in the rubbish the response time from the remote I could make a coffee before it worked that's in-between the tv going to a black screen and having to unplug it from the wall to reset it. Picture stopped working after 34 months – Happy with the TV until it stopped working after 34 months. was a relatively new brand at that stage. After the picture went I checked Product Review again some three years later and found that this was a common occurrence, presumably with the passage of time and additional experience of purchasers. Disappointing. This time I purchased a TV with a three year warranty.
