Terrible – Actually I got is F&P CI603DTB4 , it is the new model, but it only last 1 years only. Call F P repair they tried to blaming everything for the installation, but there is a big gap for ventilation . But the worst thing is they don't have parts from anywhere, and no ETA at all. By far the worst cooktop I have ever owned – This Fisher & Paykel cooktop does not distribute heat evenly. As a result, you can only use ONE hob at a time.We had a Fisher & Paykel technician come to look at it. He had very little idea of what to do and could only suggest that our new granite cookware was the problem which was quite clearly incorrect. We intend to replace it as soon as possible. organised a repair person, but the part had to be ordered and still hasn’t happened. That person told me that there must have been a “faulty batch” as they had been busy with repairs. The electrician that I called initially said he felt it should have been replaced as it had not been abused,but FandP said it would need to be repaired 3 times before that would be considered.We’re very sorry that we chose this cooktop, after sales service is dreadful,
BROKE DOWN TWICE IN 3YEARS – We purchased the induction cook top in 2015 , it lasted 18 months then the large ring failed . FP sent out a repair person , he ordered the parts which to 3-4 weeks to get and installed the failed part .March 2019 We are about to replace the FP induction cook top as it has failed again same part . I would not recommend this cook top as it appears this is a common problem. Show details
Love it! So versatile with the zones – So easy to use and clean. Nothing complicated. Love the zones when I use my large frypan. Being induction I had some problems with cookware but found Target pots and pans worked perfectly. Previously had a F&P ceramic cooktop which was nearly as good but the instant heat of induction is far superior and safer. Show details
Went bang after using just 4 times – I never got to use it on full power. . It flashed a blue light up the middle of the cooktop and went bang. I demanded a replacement and they refused and said it was policy to repair not replace. Technician came and had to order parts, eventually came back but still couldn't fix it. I now have to wait for him to come back and install new one.... I have been 4 weeks without a cooktop. Show details
