- It even errors when you put more than 1 bath mat thats 80cm x 40cm in it!
We dont use cheap detergent, we dont use cheap softener, we always allow only what it specifies and 90% of the time use the auto dose.
Our machine is now 12 months old and we have had to go and spend $1600 on a front loader because the $1300 we spent on this supposed 12KG piece of garbage is now gone never to be seen again.
Before this machine we had a Fisher and Paykel Front loader and it had an $8 bearing go in it after 3 years, the repair shop guy told me to scrap the machine and never buy the brand again because Fisher and Paykel are made in a way that they cant be repaired and its really crap for their customers.
I dont know how my partner managed to convince me to buy another and as expected - it has bitten us too.
Do yourself all a favour, forget this washer and forget Fisher and Paykel.

its' multitude of functions (most never used) and no agitator, and flash asthetics such as a silver/grey lid, I'm not impressed as I consider this latest model by far INFERIOR to the 2018 Washmart Eco, for the following reasons 1. It takes 5-10 minutes longer to complete a wash, or even a Rinse. 2. It takes longer to spin, yet it lacks the ability to spin all the water out, leaving washing wetter than the Washsmart. 3. The functions on the Dashboard panel indicator are difficult to see in daylight, as they rely on a backlight which doesn't stand out in daylight, so you need to put your hand over the dial, to see which function you're trying to select. If I'm looking for any merits, I suppose the Series 7 couldn't damage clothing, as it has no agitator. Then again, I never had a complaint about the old Washmart Eco damaging my washing either. I would give the Series 7, a 7/10 rating.
Follow-up · After a month of use, my opinion hasn't changed much - it takes almost an hour to wash, and almost 30 minutes to simply rinse anything. Even to spin any thing takes almost 20 minutes! Far too slow for busy lives, and apart from looking pretty with it's chrome-look lid - it offers little benefit over the F&P Washsmart with Agitator, which remains TOPS in my opinion.
I timed the large wash I did yesterday - 3 hours 20 minutes! The quicker loads are only for small loads - 2 - 4 kg. Starting a wash early in order to get maximum sun on it in winter will be a problem because early, the sun isn't on the solar panels. could happily do in my old washer which took 40 minutes. Why technology has to go backwards, I'll never know. To justify the massive price? Strangely enough, it has a 4 star water and electricity rating. How that can be, I don't know, when it goes for so long, emptying and filling about 4 or 5 times from what I noticed. I've done small loads which still took well over an hour and used the sheets setting - it washed everything well. It's quiet. One thing to think of if buying a new washer - this top loader is very high and very deep. I'm 5'4.5" and can barely get things out of the bottom of it - so consider that if you're a shortie.
Very good machine – We have had this machine for around 12 months and love it. Amazed at how much cleaner our clothes were with this machine. loads the default as warm water and if you use cold you have to change it every load which is annoying. The second issue is if you are doing a large load, don't use the auto sensor level as the water will be to lower than required and the clothes come out with detergent still on them. If you manually select the level to max they don't. This only happens with full loads.

decided I love the auto dose function. It cleans well. I initially was worried about not having an agitator in the machine, but I have not had any issues with my sheets tangling. The one thing is I always do is adjust the level of water as I prefer for more water especially in rinsing. The quick wash is also great to use. Very quiet machine and easy to use. I would recommend this machine. It looks good as well. I bought the 10 kg is probably too good for my husband and myself but it is great when doing bed sheets and quilt cover all together

Pretty good! – Upgraded from a LG 14kg smart drum model WTG1432WHF. No comparison. Easy setup, plug and play. Hose connection was a bit of a pain, spring clamp position. Love the self levelling. easy to remove. Sleek, simple design with more than enough features. Washes well. No agitator, not needed. Quiet. Purchased Friday 8/12/23 and have filled it up seven times now. Have washed heavy blankets, sheets, clothes and towels and am still smiling. Have had to help machine on unbalanced load twice. Not sure if I should be using heavy or bulky setting. I'll read the manual one day... Fingers crossed.
