We bought another Fisher & Paykel top loading washing machine because we liked our old one which lasted 16 years. I like the size of this new 10kg machine and the fact that it still has a pause button so you can pause the cycle to unlock the lid to add more clothes or check the water level etc! I also like that you can manually override the… Read more

default water temperature and spin speed and can save your favourite preferences for each cycle. What I do not like is that the automatic water level uses too little water so that your clothes don't wash well if quite dirty and with so little water the drag and pull on the clothes is much rougher than if you use more water. I guess they choose to use so little water to bring up their star rating!!! Well I want to wash our clothes properly so I will manually choose the water level..... so glad you can do that... But, there are no markings inside this low agitator machine to use as a guide as to which manual water level to choose!!! They had water level indicator marks on the agitator in my old machine! I'll just have to work out the appropriate manual water levels by trial & error! So many friends have told me that their washing machine doesn't was dirty clothes very well or wash the soap off very well and it is because these modern top loading washing machines are using too little water on their auto settings!

Highly recommend – It’s efficient, quiet, and handles large loads with ease. The wash quality is outstanding, and it's user-friendly.

Fisher Paykel 10kg top load machine cannot recommend – I purchased a Fisher Paykel 10kg top load washing machine a few months ago from Good Guys Chatswood. Previous 18 y.o. Fisher Paykel could not handle blankets. This new machine is so disappointing. I have a lot of black clothing items and without fail they come out of the wash with cloudy lint on them. I make sure lint filters are clean but does… Read more

not help. So disappointed. Maybe it is the tiny agitator but whatever is the cause I regret this purchase. Could not recommend this washing machine.

Horrible Washing Machine Don’t Buy – Worst machine I’ve owned. Load washes are ridiculous. Had a mixed wash today run 1hr 20mins. No idea why! It’s noisy. It spends more power and water than stated I’m sure. Clothes are still fairly “wet” on all cycles. Clothes don’t seem cleaner than any other machine I’ve owned. For smart technology this machine is dumb. I can’t wait till it dies. Show details

Do not buy 10kg Fisher and Pykel WL1064G1 – Leaves washing looking worse than when it was put in. Lint filter cleaned each time, darks sorted, liquid cleaning, .... still horrid. Need to put in the dryer to remove lint, or scrub with a brush. Also tangles.
