Flora MGM-GH700
VerifiedMPN: MGM-GH7003 reviews
I purchased a Flora mincer 15 months ago and it is no longer working. Typical of poor quality equipment. Just out of warrenty and they fail. Not impressed at all. I only got through 95kg of venison collectively, in four seperate sessions. I'm disapointed to say the leaset. And finding a new motor to replace the failed motor is an impossibility it seams!
Purchased in for $195.
Single handedly the worse kitchen appliance I have purchased. If you are buying it to make sausages a I did, don't waste your money. It's almost a two person job to push the mixture through the head into the sausage skins. It takes so much force that the whole unit tries to topple forward. When you try to lift the plunger out each time the whole feeder plate comes off the head unit. So much meat wasted at the end of the process as it does not feed through with the auger it has to be forced. When I pulled it apart to clean it and clean the excess meat from the parts there was a heap of meat with black sludge, grease like substance like from parts rubbing or something. Now I wonder how much of that stuff is in my sausages. The instructions for assembly are useless, I had to google it. There is footage to show you and I can understand why it is muted because if you heard how noisy it is you wouldn't ever consider buying it. I am going to try and return to store. You get what you pay for. Cheap rubbish.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse Marketplace for $149.95.
Hi Shaz, We’re very sorry to hear that your first experience with the Flora MGM‑GH700 didn’t live up to expectations. Thank you for taking the time to outline the details—you’ve given us a clear picture to work with.
About the unit tipping forward One quick thing to check is the orientation of the food tray. If the tray is accidentally fitted back‑to‑front, and especially if it’s heavily loaded, the weight can shift forward and make the machine feel unstable. Re‑seating the tray with the wider lip toward the operator usually fixes this immediately.
About the force required for sausage filling The grinder should not need excessive pressure. Two factors can make it harder: Meat composition. Very high‑fat mixtures can smear and create extra resistance inside the auger. Over‑packing. For best flow, feed loosely packed strips rather than densely compressed meat.
Extra resources We agree the printed manual is not as intuitive as moving pictures, so we’ve filmed a step‑by‑step video that covers assembly, correct tray placement, blade orientation, sausage filling tips, and full cleaning. We’re happy to send that link straight to your inbox.

Good mincer from local brading seller – I recently purchased the FLORA MGM-GH700 Meat Mincer 2800W from Floralivings, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The powerful 2800W motor effortlessly grinds meat, making meal prep faster and easier. The build quality is solid, and the stainless steel components ensure durability and easy cleaning. I also appreciate the multiple grinding plates included, allowing me to choose the perfect texture for different recipes. Whether it's burgers, sausages, or meatballs, this mincer handles it all with ease. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to any kitchen, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient meat grinder.

Hi Pieter, We’re sorry for the trouble with your Flora mincer and the frustration this has caused. Thanks for flagging it.
About the machine: Our mincers include thermal/overload protection. If a unit is pushed hard, the motor will stop to protect itself and will only restart once it has cooled. Please unplug the mincer and let it cool completely, then try again (if your unit has a reset, press it after cooling).
How to get the best result with lean venison (and reduce motor load): • Work in small batches with rest periods — domestic grinders are designed for short runs with cool‑down breaks. • Pre‑chill meat and cut to small strips/cubes before feeding. • For very lean game, many users mix in ~10–20% fat (or lean pork shoulder for sausage) to improve flow and texture. • Use the REVERSE briefly if you feel resistance, then continue forward.
Please forward your order confirmation email to support@floralivings.com.au with a brief note about the issue. We’ll review it and try to assist you as soon as possible.
We appreciate the opportunity to make this right and look forward to helping you get back to grinding confidently.
