Reliable, cheap on parts and easy to fix – Purchased from Perth car dealer and had it trucked to qld. Overall not a bad ute. Like its simplicity and cheap to buy parts for. Roomy interior and standard high ground clearance and looks ok, ABS brakes, great on sand at Fraser Island. Dislike strange 4wd system with clutches in transfer case, found out when got stuck on mud on one spot with front crossmember on an island with all 4 wheels spinning, not good. Rust in a few places, 2.6L petrol engine works well up to 80klms, struggles to maintain 100klms on any hill loaded or unloaded in 4th or 5th gear. Heavy on fuel 12.3L per 100klms normally, loaded with camp gear, trailer and quad uses 17-18L per 100klms

Purchased in for $3,000.

Best ute ever – This is my second Courier. Toughest most ultra reliable and safe vehicle ever made. Not fancy, not light on fuel, but as I don't do high mileage and don't need a fancy vehicle it is perfect. They should have kept making them. Sturdy, keeps to the road and never fails to start.
