Lovely but hate that I have to use my phone – My FOREO UFO 2 is a lovely 2 minutes of indulgence but I hate that I have to use it with an app on my phone. I’m really careful now not to buy products that require an app to use. I don’t want my phone in the bathroom and having to need Bluetooth is also a pain in regional areas Show details
For the skin care lovers – I purchased a UFO2 device along with popular sheet masks. It is an upgrade from the previous version with an additional 5 LED light therapy options including Cyan - a bluish light for healing and calming the skin. The UFO2 can be used with other serums and the settings are completely adjustable in the user friendly app. The T-sonic pulsations are… Read more
a really nice massaging effect and I enjoy the relaxing sensation. Combined with the thermo and cryo therapies it really feels like a luxury 90sec pamper you can do at home. The app is very versatile and adjustable so you can extend the length of time for treatments along with the heat and cool options by customising your session.
The masks themselves are quite nice and there is loads of serum in the package so when I have completed a treatment I can either use the additional serum directly on the skin or apply it to existing sheet mask on the device and do a 2nd treatment.
I think the price of the sheet masks is reasonable and about what I spend for regular sheet masks although I do find myself doing masks more frequently due to the convenience and pampering T-sonic pulsations the device offers. Before owning the device I would do a sheet mask treatment once every 1 to 2 weeks however now I do the UFO sheet masks 2 or 3 times a week and use the device with other serums.
I have seen an improvement in my skin, however I not sure if it is related to the use of the actual device or if it because I am doing more treatments then previously. It does flip out on occasion in the customize option of the app but the treatment selection of the app works great.
The UFO2 device has a hefty price tag. I wouldn't say it was a necessary item you should add to your skin care regime although it does make it more fun.
An extra to your regime – I own foreo UFO and another light therapy for skincare device. The UFO works with their own mask that is round in shape and small in size. No other standard mask in the market would fit. I like that you can scan the specific mask to apply the right light sequence to your skin. you can then repeat treatment if you want, or you can go to the… Read more
test section of the app to play with the lights, vibration and heat/cool to use on your face.
It feels really good when using it. Feels very pampered, relaxing etc. Really does feel spa-ish.

the fact that you can ONLY use their mask.
the plate in the middle feels a bit too hot to use directly on skin without the mask on heat setting. So no you can't use it without mask. It will probably do damage to your skin, but this is not a professional opinion.
When you set the mask on the device, I notice that the mask covered some part of the lights. I don't know how light frequency works, but I don't think I get as much intensity of the light on my skin due to that.
After feel.
I did tried all the mask products on this device before and think that it does help. But not sure if it is worth the price considering you have to use their product with it.
