A feature that was once free, you now have to pay for – I purchased this IP security camera in 2020 to monitor the area at the front of our house. It had human detection which was very useful to cut down the number of recordings it made, otherwise it would activate every time a vehicle drove past, or an insect flew by. I have just discovered, presumably due to a firmware update, that human detection is no longer selectable as an option, and if you want this feature you know have to subscribe to one of Foscam's paid plans.
