Bad Franke – I had purchased a Franke Artis TA 7000, when I also purchased a Franke Sink (Harvey Normans), When the plumber was installing the tap he commented that it was faulty because the whole body including the hoses swivel, which can lead to the hoses becoming damaged. I called the franke help Line Spoke to a [name removed] 11/9/2014, "yes thats how they… Read more

are, we all here queried these when we first got them". I informed the plumber and it was installed. 4 yrs on and countless times of having to re tighten the retainer nut, and fear of the hoses rupturing as they rub on the skin every time the unit is swivelled. I called them back, They have no record of my 1st call and they are not willing to exchange, they believe nothing is wrong, However they dont sell the Artis TA 7000 anymore.. Very poor form and poor consumer care.

Poor function for the expense – Sadly the spout does not swivel independent of the lever action. Poor design! Unfortunately I was unable to check this detail before purchase (along with a Franke sink which performs well!). There are many other cheaper products on the market which do not have this design fault. Look elsewhere  Show details

Lemon! – Spent $1000 on what I thought was a quality kitchen tap. Turned out to be rubbish, zero water pressure when there wasn't any pressure issues with our pipes. Will never buy again, avoid this brand!  Show details

A dud – This is an expensive tap. The installing plumber suggested we don't swivel the tap from one sink to the other as this will unscrew the tap body. He was right, this happened straight away. When it is swivelled the whole thing moves, so it is difficult to see whether it is selected to hot or cold. The tap looks good but in practise it is a failure.… Read more

Leaving the tap in one position and pulling out the extractable piece to point it in the correct direction is a pain. I'm left feeling that I should have just gone to Bunnings for a cheap one.

Good quality – We've had this tap over a year and can't fault it. Water flow is good and handy to have the different spray option though I don't tend to use this much. Attractive looking tap. Lovely form and function.

Excellent tap! What more do u want! – Had no problems with this tap at all starting from the installation to the it's use as a kitchen tap. Extractable tap works well and super convenient for cleaning larger items. Great mixer and smooth flow

Waste of money – Bought this tap that came with a deal with the Franke Aurora PFX62OB Undermount sink. Have had nothing but trouble with it. Three times it has flooded my kitchen cupboard. Water flow very slow. They get out of the warranty by saying you have to buy pressure relief valves between $70-$100 each. These would have reduced the flow of water even… Read more

more. Overall a very crummy, cheap looking tap.

I wouldn't bother buying the sink either, not worth the exorbitant price by any stretch. If you have an older sink that is still serving it's purpose, then don't upgrade, older stuff is definitely better quality.

Expensive, poor water flow, spout doesn't move very much, constantly breaking and flooding kitchen.
