Fujifilm FinePix J40

Cute Camera, A bit limited – I bought this camera on special at Kmart for $100 AUD and I must say I am enjoying it quite a lot! In the pack I got the camera, an instruction manual, battery charger, battery and strap and for 100 dollars I wasn't expecting much more. I had to buy a 2GB memory card as well It is definitely the best thing to do because internal memory only holds three photos!
I surprised with the quality of the photographs for the price (12.2 megapixels!) and I have had no trouble uploading them to my PC and editing them, what does annoy me a bit though is that on the computer when you look at all the files you cant preview them without opening up another window, I suppose that's a different problem though.
I also found the setting to be pretty hard to navigate and I would've of liked to of seen an easier way to switch from camera to video as for several months I didn't even know it existed!
I was mildly pleased with the features the camera comes with: they are camera, movie, macro shooting (Which doesn't even seem to work very well)a grid and flash.
Once you get used to it the J40 is a good camera for happy snaps, holidays etc. I wouldn't use it as a professional camera though! Cheap, High Megapixel quiality for price, big screen Had to navigate settings, bad zoomage
