hours (often from 7 am to 11 am) but produces no heat at all indoors. In a city where reliable heating is essential, this is unacceptable.
Fujitsu advertises this model as operating down to –10 °C, but in practice it does not deliver even at temperatures well above that. The installer themselves confirmed the system was not working correctly, yet weeks later there is still no resolution.
When I raised the issue with Fujitsu, they deflected by suggesting the system might be undersized for my home (around 140 m² of conditioned space). However, this does not explain why the unit fails to produce any heating output during normal winter conditions.
Key concerns:
Unit fails to heat at routine Canberra winter temperatures.
Installer acknowledged a fault but Fujitsu has not resolved it.
Fujitsu insists it should perform in these conditions, but the reality is very different.
I strongly caution anyone in Canberra or other cold-climate regions to avoid Fujitsu. Based on my experience, their systems do not live up to the claims, and support has been disappointing.
