Why change the quality and formula that had set Garnier apart from the conpetition? – I have been using Garnier Nutrisse hair colour for a decade until your recentl change in firmula. What a dissapointment. The colour is completely different from the old formula and turns red! I had discovered Garnier years ago when I was in the aisle contemplating which brand to try as I was experimenting with several brands & colour combinations.… Read more

A customer in the shop was purchasing several boxes of Garnier Nutrisse and recommended I try adding " I have tried everuthing, you are going to love this product, trust me you will thank me". I was so happy, no more mixing colours and trying different brands. I had FOUND my ideal hair colour -Garnier no 6. The perfect shade, cover and shine! It was miles apart from any of the competion. Garnier had the perfect shade, looked shiny and natural and did not turn. The new formula is awful, nothiing to do with the prior wonderful product. Sadly, I will no longer purchase, turns red and horrible quality. Why would you change the product when iit was popular as I often struggled finding my colour as it fkew off the shelves. I wish I had stored boxes prior to the change of product.

  6 Acorn - Light Brown

Acorn light Brown turned out BLACK! – I used Garniers online live Try it on to see if Acorn was the best colour for my hair. I answered all the questions honestly. I wanted LIGHT Brown hair and have ended up with BLACK! At 66 years old black is in no way flattering, bitterly disappointed! It was my first time trying Garnier and will be my last and I will tell all my family friend's neices aunt's mothers grandmothers to stay clear of this company. Show details

Leave it on longer – I dye my hair with this product often and it works well on my grey regrowth. I like the fact that it leaves my hair feeling soft not dried out. The trick is to leave it on a bit longer than it says on the box otherwise it doesn't take as well. I use it mostly for a quick retouch when my dry hair is in bad condition and I don't want to dry it out… Read more

even more. I find Schwarxkopf to be the best brand as far as a strong, longer lasting result, but it does tend to dry my hair out more. So I use this one in between.

Didn't do much – I have (coloured) dark brown hair. I wanted to go a little lighter so I thought why not try the NEW Garnier, surely products only get better when they've been re-released? Not true. My regrowth obviously didn't have any colouring and it was made lighter, however the rest of my hair which is coloured did not change AT ALL, not even slightly! Pretty… Read more

disappointing, and while it could look worse (read others' reviews of blue and orange) it certainly doesn't look good.

I have given it an extra star because the only good thing about it is that is doesn't stain your skin very much at all. I forgot to wear a towel and I had it all over my neck and shoulders and I had a shower and it was pretty much gone. But I guess this explains why my hair colour didn't change - it obviously isn't strong enough.

Good healthy result – I was very happy with this product. Having dark brown hair, I chose the light brown (06). Sound odd? I've realised with home colorants that you have to go lighter (within reason) than what you would ideally think because the colours invariably deepen in tone. I've also realised you do not need to keep the colour on for the full recommended time.… Read more

So instead of 25 minutes, I rinsed after 20. The result was perfect. My hair has light brown highlights whilst maintaining the mid brown overall. Any grey is gone. The product is pretty simple to use, though the colour solution bottle has a creamy texture that is not easy to squeeze into the mixing bottle. A design flaw, but ok. There is a whiff of ammonia, but not overpowering and it is balanced by the fruity scent. What I did love, is that when washed out, my hair was not stick dry as with other brands (before conditioning). The conditioner itself is lovely and creamy and plentiful. My hair was very shiny and soft and healthy looking. It did not have that "just dyed, dried out" look. Will certainly use again.
