Very good if you know the hack! – I coloured my hair with Olia 4.26 Rose Violet and I'm glad I didn't see these reviews first because they would have made me not use the product. The trick is to ignore the timing instructions and put the colour on your hair's ends and mid lengths first, leave for 20 minutes ans then put the colour on the roots for the final 10 minutes, so the… Read more
roots don't become 'hot roots'. I have light to medium brown hair, I'm not sure how it would be on grey or blonde hair. I found the product easy to apply and it smells lovely. I am pleased with the result, but you do have to be careful not to end up with bright roots when colouring your hair with red, violet or light colours.
Horrible and damaging, don't buy this – I used to have long healthy shiny hair before I messed it up with this product, I'm quite Impressed, I have bleached my hair uncountable times and dyed it with many different box dyes and not anything I've done to my hair has ever damaged it the way this did. It's now super dry, no shine whatsoever. I almost wanted to shave it, but ended up… Read more
cutting half of it. And on top of it, it came out a different color than it should have, it ended up dark red/brown. And now: the top of my head is dark red, and the bottom is light brown. The red bit just won't fade off, not even hair stylists can fix it. Absolutely terrible, please trust me and don't buy this ever, save your money and hair!
Hair is so damaged:( – To any young girl thinking of using this, please don’t! i’m 20 and my hair is falling out so much i could cry :( i read reviews before of this product apparently causing hair loss and now i really wish i wouldn’t of done it, it’s my own fault for not listening. my hair comes out in clumps in the shower, it gets really matted when i leave wit down… Read more
to sleep to the point it just rips out at the root when i try to brush it, and i can’t have it up to sleep because it makes it fall out even more! my bed and my boyfriends bed are both covered in hair all the time, it never stops :( i really regret using it and i hope someone sees this and chooses another instead! i’d say the best and least damaging box dye is the l’oréal semi permanent one. i had lovely hair before this, really thick and shiny and have always used hair masks and sulphate free shampoo and conditioner. not to mention the colour doesn’t stay and did come out a bit patchy, this could be down to user error but my friend did it for me so not really like any parts could have been missed
Pink joke – Thank goodness we are in lockdown I wouldn’t like to be seen in public with this awful colour that looks like I have done it for a bet. I am in my 70s but have a young image. My hair has come out a pale shade of lilac so you can imagine that I now look like a member of the blue-rinse set. It was supposed to be very light beige blonde. I recommend… Read more
you avoid this hair colourant like the plague. Rubbish! As for does my hair shine well it’s totally irrelevant.
ABSOLUTELY CRAP – I dyed my hair tonight. All instructions followed etc. Times up .. i wash everything out and now my hair is orange/white? WHAT THE HELL!!!! Im so confused. Im not sure how to fix it. NOT HAPPY. Show details
Bad – Sorry but the new bold olia colours do not cover grey :( also turns hair darker on ends :( I was so excited as well to try but it as a colour doesn’t hold probably best used on short hair rather then long hair.Colour used was 3.16 deep violet
