Doesn't match the colour on the box at all. My dark blonde hair needed the roots touched up. Now all my hair is a warm mid to dark brown. They must've messed up the dye because this doesn't even resemble blonde whatsoever. It is awful! Do not buy this if you want blonde hair. Show details
New packaging is definitely a change for the worse – formula leaves the hair feeling greasy yet straw like. It's really affected my natural curls. I wish they would change back Show details
Has the formula of 7.0 dark blonde changed – I have been using Olia Permanent Hair Colour - 7.0 Dark Blonde for 10 years. I purchased a pack 2 weeks ago with the new packaging and my hair looks greenish. Show details
Didn't cover greys - orangey – It really didn't cover my greys at all and made my hair a bit orangey. Won't use again. It was gentle though and of course no ammonia smell. The low points is because it didn't cover the greys at all and I actually left it on longer than instructed... Show details
Inconsistent colour result – I have used this product for 6 six months and was very happy with results. However, the last pack I used darkened my hair considerably, it's now darker than my natural colour. I contacted Garnier and after much discussion I was advised the dark colour is the actual colour of the product, which is contrary to the packaging advice, I have naturally… Read more
brow hair. This also then suggests the colour results for the previous 6 months or so of using this product were repeatedly not the correct colour. I will not use this product again
Pleasantly surprised – My roots are naturally dark blonde /light brown. I've been bleaching my hair for years. I've had a pixie cut for a few months and the brown to blonde looked awful. I bought this dye a couple of months ago on sale. After seeing a photo of how bad my hair looked I was like OOKKAY. IT IS TIME. Firstly, I loved how the kit was prepared. So easy to mix… Read more
the dye. Secondly, the smell was great! For the first time a relatively cheap dye didn't wreak of chemicals or make my eyes burn. Thirdly, it was easy to apply, spread and it felt like an oily treatment whilst processing.
Lastly and most importantly, the colour is beautiful! It is the closest to a natural dark blonde I've found. It's so shiny and multifaceted. I look like I have my natural hair colour and it's lovely and soft.
In conclusion, a super easy to use, pleasant smelling dye that is fool proof. Natural results and my hair isn't fried. I will note that there is a slight residue on my hair, like a film. But it's no biggie. I obviously can't comment on longevity as I used this tonight, but I felt obliged to write a review as so far this is my favorite dark blonde dye. (I've used some pretty expensive salon ones too).
Great for First-Timer – I have had professional colors for decades but due to social distancing was not able. My hair is basically a dark blond/light brown with blond to very blond ends. So, I had dark roots with a few grays, gray temples and bright blond ends. I decided to just go dark blond over my whole hair. I bought 2 boxes of 7.0 dark blond. I have never done this… Read more
before, but the instructions were easy to follow and everything I needed was in the box. The entire process took less than one hour and I am very pleased with the color. My hair is all one color...no dark roots, no bright bleached out ends, no grays....and I only needed one box for my shoulder length hair. It even feels less dried out than before the color. I am thinking my days of paying $120 for a color are over, thanks to a virus....
Waste of money – This product claimed on the box that a medium to light brown hair would lighten to a dark blonde and claimed 100% grey coverage.... well my hair is still grey at the roots... white even. And my hair colour hasnt changed although it did freshen my existing colour thats not what i wanted and I wouldn't care if my roots were dyed. So im 35 with… Read more
white grey roots at the sides and dark grey roots at the front. Im too scared to recolour my hair so soon. Looks like im cancelling any social functions for a while.
Oh and the step 3 colour conditioner was terrible... it left a residue on the shower floor so bad i slid around 3 times. I ran the removable shower head over the floor for a few minutes to disperse and still it was slippery. The residue made my skin on my face and back feel slippery even after soap.
I normaly wouldnt write about a bathroom use product but I just had to. It's terrible in so many ways.
Please dont waste your money.
Great product! Covers greys and leaves hair soft and shiny! – My natural hair colour is between a lavel 5-6 and I’m about 50 percent grey. I usually go to my hairdresser to get dark blonde foils and a root lift to cover and blend my greys, however when I missed my regular 4 week appointment I decided to touch up my roots at home using Garnier Olia 7.0 dark Blonde, and I’m so glad i did! The formula was so… Read more
gentle on my scalp and didn’t have a strong chemical smell like other dyes. I let it develop for an extra 10 mins (because my greys are very stubborn). The product washed out very easily. I then applied the conditioner and my hair felt so soft and smooth! And no more greys!! It blended out perfectly with my foils and looks so natural! I’m so happy I decided to give this product a go! I will definitely be using this product more frequently between salon visits! It’s so gentle on my hair and saves so much money!
won't buy this product again – This product doesn't cover grey at all. The hair ends up dry. The hair condition cream doesn't have a nice scent like with the other products. I am disappointed. Such a waste of my time and money.
