Garnier Skinactive New Formula Pure Active Daily Pore Scrub Wash - Boycott – Avoid this product it is middling quality for the purpose, an untrustworthy unethical company and unacceptably bad for the environment. Note: Loreal is the company Garnier (as well as loads of others), come under, so avoiding Loreal on down is probably the safest bet. a.Skin cleansing - it is so so. A bit abrasive. Definitely had better and yes,… Read more

had worse. b.The big problem that puts the kibosh on it is bad practice by the company. They are still selling products with plastic microbeads in them in 2022(I bought this product a few weeks ago and the packaging says "new formula"). This particular product is very likely one of them. The uniform blue and white spheres are unlikely something "natural" like salt, sugar or seed particles.(I have seen similar stuff in other products where the company confirmed they were plastic microbeads.) I contacted Loreal to check if these were plastic microbeads and they gave me a mealy mouthed avoiding answering reply. I called them and they said they cannot tell me. I requested a return or refund as it was likely they were plastic microbeads and I couldn't risk using it in case they were present, due to terrible for the environment. They declined to. This is an untrustworthy company. I would avoid them in general to avoid what all any other dodgy stuff they do and fail to disclose.

There is no excuse for this unethical practice. Especially not from Loreal which is the biggest cosmetics and beauty company in the world. This is what is causing the average person to ingest a credit card's worth of plastic every week. If you don't care about something "abstract" or "distant" like the environment or fish, care about yourself, your reproductive systems, your children and avoid it.

It's good for skin tightening but does not help to clear pigmentation – I've been using GARNIER 3 IN1 for over a year now and I feel the pores have tightened and my face is smoother. I don't even need to buy other cleanser or exfoliant anymore. You can also leave it longer for a deeper clean. I usually do that twice a week. But my dark spots are still there. So, not really effective on pigmentation

Garnier 3 in 1 is the most simple, lazy-person product – I've been using this every night for years for my sensitive but clear/oily skin - I don't use anything else to wash, scrub or mask my face. It's the most simple, lazy-person product. The only other thing I use is a cheap moisturiser in the morning after a hot flannel. I recommend this to everyone who comments on how clear my skin always looks. If… Read more

I ever get a zit and I'm lazy to do a mask, I just dab a bit of this stuff on it and let it dry for 10mins or something and wash it off, repeat until it goes away. Amazing.

Love it! – I have used prestige cosmetics and finally tried this stuff out. It was put on clear out. I absolutely love it. It's the only thing that has worked for my hormonal acne in 3 years. I would be so sad if it was discontinued.

3 in 1 Wash, scrub and mask, great! – I have pretty sensitive skin. While I am no way at of an age where breakout occurrences are acceptable, I have taken them to be a part of life now. However, what this product has been able to do was not achieved by any other, which includes heavily priced products. It delivers what it promises. Mattifies the skin, clears the pores and exfoliates.… Read more

And it does it well. Highly recommend it for those with problems like blotchy or patchy skin that is prone to outbreaks. It works!

Has cleared my skin significantly and feels fresher – I started using this product after a happy accident with using another Garnier product and I found this to be really good for my skin, I am using the PURE deep clean daily foaming gel. A few weeks back I had a complete break out ( blemishes have always been a problem, even in my adult years), since using this product, about 3 weeks, I have really… Read more

noticed existing pimples have almost gone and the ones that are starting to appear, are soon gone. I like the fresh after-feel on my skin and pores are slightly reduces in size.

Like all creams and lotions, I do not believe in miracles and would be silly to think this will completely transform my skin, but it is doing a lot of noticable good after only three weeks.

I have mature oily skin and this product seems to take away the surface oil without sucking the moisture out of my skin completely. Good product for my oily skin and has cleared my blemishes

OK – I bought Garnier pure A moisturiser yesterday because i had a huge pimple on my cheek, after washing my face and applying garnier pure A, within 10 minutes the redness was gone and the pimple was half its size... I was so amazed... it didnt sting or burn.. smells a bit like you applying cucumber to your face. Only downside is when I tried to apply… Read more

Good – My daughter is 18yo so it has saved the day for her, it has cleared up her skin therefore more self confidence and she loves the products also. Good one Garnier. My daughter used this skincare and it really cleaned up her skin. It was gentle but got the job done, still using it she has clear blemish free skin.

Excellent – I use the Deep Clean Foaming Wash and find it very gentle on the skin yet very effective at cleansing. During the summer I use it to wash away very oily sunscreens that I use and it does a wonderful job on the first wash. My skin is never dry after using the wash. The packaging is very practical and comes with pump disposal which delivers the… Read more

right amount of product to use.

The price of the wash is reasonable and for myself lasts a very long time. It is easily available in any supermarket or beauty stores. Gentle products that clean and last a long time.

Good – I have been using the Garnier Pure range for years and I wouldn't change to any other facial cleanser. Apart from it being a little drying (I have to moisturise straight after using it), it keeps my skin blemish free. Keeps my skin clear. Doesn't have an overpowering fragrance. Affordable price. Easy to find in all the supermarkets and Big W, Target etc. Can be a bit drying.

Good – Although it felt very gritty on my skin it DID make it feel much smoother afterwards and I've had no adverse reactions after using it now for over a month. Skin feels very clean and smooth afterwards. Salicylic acid is a very useful ingredients in good quality exfoliants so it does do its job. I would recommend this product as a good deep pore… Read more

exfoliant. Very reasonable price. Contains salicylic acid which is great for shedding old skin cells and clearing the skin. Beads seem rather course (very gritty feeling) but this may actually help clear the skin. Smells like detergent.

Good – I have used the garnier pure range since I was a teen, after trying other products I continued to come back to garnier, simply because I knew it worked.I have sensitive oily to combination skin. using the garnier every day and switched to cetaphil for oily to acne prone skin. I now use the garnier once a week to exfoliate or whenever I need a spot treatment for pimples.I have had no pimples since combining the two and my sensitive skin has calmed right down. Available from almost everywhere, fairly resonable price. Can dry out your skin from regular use.

Bad – So not fair! I have combination/oily skin and I found that this was WAY too harsh for my skin. After I used the clay mask I found I had MORE pimples, and on my cheeks which I never get. The facial scrub was ok the first few days but then it dried out my skin heaps, and I have combination/oily skin. It smelled nice. The facial scrub worked the… Read more

Terrible – It kind of smelt like I was putting toothpaste on my face. This is what they call a 'deep clean feeling' but I just feel like I had tiger balm on or something. Not very appealing. Plus the smell was over powering, once again I'd just smell like I had smeared toothpaste on my face. I wouldn't recommend buying it. Even if you have the greasiest… Read more

and pimpliest of faces, I would recommend a gentler product because usign the harshest product isn't going to help.

I also think that some of the price you are paying is for the excessive marketing. Price (fairly cheap). Packaging is appealing, nice to look at, easy to use. Available from lots of places (Priceline, Coles, Woolies/Safeway, other pharmacies etc). The smell was horrendous. It dried out my skin. It was nasty. It didn't really help my skin because it was really harsh.

Terrible – Couldn't find the usual Garnier moisturiser I used in UK before, so tried a couple of items from the Pure range. Didn't like it at all. Wouldn't touch it again with a barge pole. The Pure Moisturiser caused whiteheads, the Self-Heating Mask caused my skin to break out in cystic acnes. Have tried the Spot Treatment years ago, finished the whole… Read more

Good – The Garnier Pure range was recommended to me by a friend and it has been great. I use the moisturizer and is probably the only moisturizer suited to my skin type that doesn't break me out. I also use the deep pore wash a few times a week (Cetaphil the other times). Non of these products dry out your skin, not even the toner, though i don't use it… Read more

all that much anymore. Overall this is a great range for people with acne prone skin. I will continue to use the moisturizer and the pore wash. Great range of products for acne prone skin Nothing in particular
