Garnier Ambre Solaire Gloss Bronzer

Discontinued Bronzer – Looks like this has been discontinued but if you do happen to come across it - I would not buy it. It was totally orange! I have fair skin which is a bit yellow rather than pink so maybe ok for someone with a different skin tone.

Wonderful self tanner! – Overall I really liked this product. I have fair skin so reaaally need to fake tan! I have used Garnier products including the fake tanners and been pleased with the results. was a bonus! I found it to be afforable, reliable, and a fast way to give my skin a natural looking tan with minimal fuss :) It's a little sticky when you apply it. Just make sure you smooth it on your skin thoroughly and of course wash hands after use.

Sticky mess – I just applied the Ambre Solaire Gloss Bronzer and i feel like i'm coated in honey or syrup. It's so sticky, and smells awful! From the other reviews i dread to see what the results are like... i definately should have read these reviews before i bought the bloody thing! Cheap - that's about it. Soooo sticky, smelt bad, dryed quickly so it was hard to rub in

Awesome product – Totally agree with Robyn007, it is the best self tanner to use when you want a quick application of colour, it's very natural looking and I've never had problems with streaking. I was gutted when it was discontinued, I managed to stock up on a few tubes and am using it very sparingly as I'll be so sad when it's all gone. The gel is just not the same. If anyone knows where to find some more, pleeeeease let me know!!!  Show reply

Excellent – Ditch the gel and go back to the cream - it was the best bronzer ever! Absolutely loved it, have no idea why it was changed! LOVE this when it was the cream - was the best bronzer I've ever used! Easy to apply, never had it go streaky, great colour - perfect! The gel they changed this product to - YUCK. everywhere for the old one, in the cream. A million times better. Gel stung my legs, smelt terrible, didn't have the same colour - waste of money if you ask me!

Good – personally i liked this product, i have sensitive skin and i didn't have any form of reaction to it, it looked pretty good but keep in mind if you apply to much it will go more orange than bronze (well it did on my skin anyway) it was a great quick fix tan for my legs as i get tanned everywhere else really easily except my legs so it made them… Read more

look naturally tanned to match the rest of my body

i found it pretty evenly coverage my skin but do rub it in very well otherwise it will be a bit streaky

I didn't like the smell very much but you get that and it was also reasonably priced

i would use it again but in moderation Cheap

OK – As far as do it yourself tans go, it's okay. The colour is pretty decent, but the new formula is disgusting and you might as well toss your money down the drain. I didn't really like the smell, something in it was a bit unappealing. The more recent version they've released of this will ensure I won't be buying it again

Bad – Not bat, but will only purchase if you change back to the old formula. Why oh Why did you change it to a gel. Not much. Colour OK. New Gel formula is sticky and smells worse. Bring back the bronze shimmering cream formula you had a few years ago and I will buy it again

Good – This is a great product for summer, and gives that Megan Gale bronze skin colour. Though, it would not suit winter, as it is quite bronze. this product is very very moisturising on the skin. This can also be applied to the face with a very small amount just to darken your complexion slightly to match with your body. Then set with powder to give a more finished look to the face. Gives a very nice healthy bronze glow. Great for summer. Helps even out skin tone. Smells great. Affordable.
