Auspost and they sent me a replacement brush which happened to arrive on the same day as the original. They very kindly gifted me the extra brush and were so helpful and responsive during the entire process.

I’m definitely a committed customer now!

Actually much better than supermarket stuff – I wasn’t planning on writing a review but I switched to gem about 6 months ago and yesterday I realised my teeth have become incredibly white! I really didn’t expect that to happen but my teeth are the whitest they have ever been. Didn’t happen immediately but with months of use, it’s made a big impact. And no new cavities.

Gross – Gross tasting toothpaste. Doesn't feel like regular toothpaste. Doesn't foam well and isn't thick in consistency.

Taste's Good – I was struggling with frequent mouth ulcers and the main culprit appeared to be the toothpaste I was using. I hunted around for a replacement, tried a few brands and didn't think much of them. On the recommendation of staff at a health food store, and I bought the apple mint as I was told it is milder. The flavour is really nice, the paste seems to clean my teeth well and leaves a nice after taste. I contacted HO via their website to ask a couple of questions about their ingredients and received a prompt reply. The company however, declined to answer one of my questions due to protecting their IP.

While I understand their stance, as a consumer I like to research ingredients to make sure the product is meeting my needs and expectations.

I've been using the toothpaste for approximately 3 months. I was really hoping that the sensitivity of my teeth would improve but so far it hasn't made a difference. Hydroxyapatite is supposed to repair sensitive teeth. I will continue using the toothpaste and see what happens.

Best fluoride substitute – After not using conventional (toxic fluoride) toothpaste for over 12 months my teeth felt silky smooth after one brush! I'm sold this product is amazing does exactly what is says. I'll recommend to all of my friend to are looking to cut fluoride toothpaste out.

Great product, questionable customer service – Overall great product, really love the natural ingredients and the taste is quite mild. Definitely recommend if you're after an alternative to the standard Colgate, although if you require customer service for any reason, I do not recommend. of Crisp Mint. However the Crisp Mint I recieved had quite a bitter aftertaste and after a while of barely tolerating it, I emailed the Gem customer service to request a replacement. Georgia replied immediately and addressed neither the fact it was bitter or the request for a replacement and instead only listed a handful of other flavours which were on sale. When I questioned this, she said she had misunderstood my original email and offered to send the replacement. When it finally arrived, she had only sent a tiny sample tube. I'm not sure how she thinks that doing the absolute least is a great way to build a loyal customer base, but what would I know. Purchase at your own risk or at least order through a third party website where you might actually get a replacement for a faulty product.
