Be careful as they get older! This could be happening – I have had my GF Slow Cooker for some years!!! Always loved it! Cooked a goulash last November (2022) washed it and packed it away! Nothing was different! Just got it out of the drawer and thought OMG it’s covered in tiny fractures that are excuding a sort of soot??? I have no idea what has happened but I won’t use it again! Sorry purchase price and date are guesstimates Show details
Great product – This slow cooker is amazing. It doesn't cook fast like a lot of other brands. It has been around Australia in our caravan and used constantly and we couldn't be happier. The cord is plastic coated and is still in good condition after years of use. Show details
Death trap! – Cord attachment connected to base of appliance can quickly fray and cause electrocution! Be safe and buy a different brand that does not have cord attached to the base of the appliance. company was very unhelpful with this problem. They told me to just buy a new one! No thanks. It's good – I use it for everything from a casserole to a curry and even a whole roast. Yep put your pork shoulder or whole chicken in dry turn it on put on lid and 6-7hours later it's perfect. Pull everything out of the pot and chuck the pot & lid in the dishwasher - awesome. Show details
Functional and reliable – The product is well build and reliable. Use it throughout winter for stews and stocks with no issues. Would have preferred the body to be better insulated and less hot-to-touch but given the price point, that is a issue that I am happy to have. Would recommend to friends and family. Show details
Very happy – I've had this slow cooker for 5 years and use it at least 3/4 times a week, never had any issues, it's the first slow cooker I've ever owned so I don't have anything else to compare it with, but very happy with it so far. The ceramic insert is very easy to clean.
Great product – Never had any issues with this slow cooker have had it for about 4-5 years use it regularly and love it anyone who says it's too slow clearly doesn't understand that it's a "slow" cooker most things require 6-8 hours it's in the directions and most recipes. Only problem I have now is that my family required a bigger one 3.5 just doesn't quite cut… Read more
it anymore unfortunate that gorge Forman don't make anything bigger. Would definitely recommend though. Mine has no lid handle nob thing as my mother in law dropped the lid but works fine without it
Love it! – I have had my slow cooker for about 4 years and I love it. It cooks correctly, retains heat and doesn't leak. The bowl has hairline cracks but that's to be expected. I've never had an issue with food not cooking (except potato because they're not meant to be cooked in a slow cooker!) and would recommend one to anyone!
Huge design faults, customer service is terrible – Me and my mother both own one of these and they both have the same issues... the handles have broken on both of them and there are tiny cracks in the surface of the bowls... George foreman customer service has been absolutely pathetic and you cannot order replacement parts.
Broken after 2 months – Works well but timer knob which controls turning it off and on and heat settings cracked and broke after only 2 months. This means it is now unusable as the metal bit the knob was tied to won't turn on its own. I know it was cheap but no excuse for breaking after 2 months Update: I have to be fair and update this to say the company sent new knob for free so happy cheap breaks quickly
I love my slow cooker however the temperature knob is loose and wobbles, I found cooking chicken… Read more (+1 reply)
Very very slow – Only slow cooker I've ever seen which requires you to put the liquid in hot, or it doesn't cook! Kind of defeats the purpose of being able to prep the night before then just pop it on to cook on the way out the door. If you add the liquid hot, it works ok, but is very slow. It works, if you add the liquid hot Only slow cooker I've ever found which makes you add hot liquid
Loved it while it lasted – I have had this slow-cooker for a few years now & used it about every two weeks through the winter. I love the small size, as most other brands are too large for my needs and it doesn't take up much space. However, I noticed a few weeks ago that the Crockpot part looked a little cracked/crazed and since then, when cooking, the sauce is getting… Read more
into the ceramic & very slowly leaking out. Needless to say, I won't be using it again unless I can find a replacement. Small size Short life-span
Slow, slow cooker – This is indeed a slow cooker. I must be a slow learner as I keep getting caught short on the time; eg., lamb shanks in my old Sunbeam took 4 hrs on High but this one is not ready in 6 hrs. It's sure works well if put on after breakfast and not left till after lunch. It was a gift, but I'd like it to be larger and FASTER! Convenient. But slow.

Slow Slow Slow takes forever to cook – the thing takes forever to cook, if a recipe says 8 hours in a slow cooker you need to cook it for at least 16 hours in this cooker. Very frustrating. Tried to make a carrot soup with small diced carrots and even after 8 hours on auto setting the carrots were still not cooked. Slow roasted pork shoulder took 2 days to cook!
Love it!! – Love the George foreman slow cooker! It is really convenient, easy to use and the meat comes out so tender and juicy! Also has great recipes in the book and helpful information on how to cook certain meats, veges and even deserts! Would most definitely recommend to family and friends! Easy to use and convenient Cannot fit a very large price if meat. Show reply
Love it – Have had this slow cooker for 3 years and love it! Once you get use to how long things take it is fantastic it does cook things very very slowly. But it works well for me. Very handy for the first few months with a newborn baby, never had a problem and so easy to clean. Easy to use Only 2 settings slow slow or slower
Love it! – I love this slow cooker! It is my first one so I can't compare to others, however it has cooked everything perfectly. Eg. 4 hours on low for a chicken and mushroom risotto to 8 hours on low for a beef rogan josh. The bowl cleans very easily. So far it's still in great condition. Maybe a fancier one that can go from stove top to the cooker, later… Read more
down the track (once slow cooking is mastered and done a lot more) but for the price it's very good value! Easy to use - easy to clean
Slow indeed! – For a slow cooker i guess it did its job, but only has 2 settings, the hottest still took minimum 12 hours for a soup which in my other slow cooker would take all of 6 hours, needed to put on anything well before like the night before then waiting all night and all day for it to of cooked. after making only 4 different meals in it i heard a loud… Read more
pop while it was cooking on low one day and the back had buckled in! it was a very thin flimsy material around the outside. I ended up just replacing it with a cheap one from the supermarket which is much better and was cheaper. Cheap Buckled in outter case. very low temperature settings - took a long time
Not bad! – This slow cooker is good! Unlike some other slow cookers that heat too fast, I can leave my George Foreman slow cooker cooking overnight, and have never woken up to a burnt mess. It's not a nightmare to clean like my other slow cooker - although still needs a good scrub. It's not overly hardy though - I haven't used it too much & it's already… Read more
looking like there's tiny cracks in the bowl. I just wish the made a ultra big version that was a bit more hardy! It cooks SLOWLY just like slow cookers should! (my other slow cooker burns things after 4 hrs, but this one I can leave food in it for 9hrs or more & it's been fine) Not very hardy - lid knob broke after short time, & bowl has mini cracks through it (but is perfectly usable). Also not very big - no good for cooking for a large family (but fine for us - 2 adults and a baby)
I found that sauce was getting into those little cracks after a while & started coming out again - not sure if it's hygienic after that
