Gerni support – Purchased Gerni 135.2 a few year ago from Bunnings. In the last 2 years have had to replace the G4 handle twice since Oct 2018. Unable to provide purchase details for Bunnings who I am sure would replace it. Two weeks and not even the courtesy of a reply from Gerni customer service. Show details
Warranty Claim – I purchased a 120.5 pressure washer 8 months ago and has been a great little pressure washer but just decided to stop working completely. Took it into super cheap auto, They contacted Gerni direct while i was there and the lady on the phone explained to replace it then and there. With my 8 years in retail i was fully expecting to have to send the… Read more

Clarification on warranty of Super 130.2 – Just bought one of these from supercheap with the ebay 20% discount. On collection before opening the box, I see the label states limited 2 year warranty. Called Gerni customer support to verify since the main reason for purchasing this over a Karcher etc is the 5 year warranty - representative said 'yes, I know. The label is wrong. Its five… Read more
years. Please keep your receipt and photo copy it for any warranty claim".
I then emailed Gerni and they have confirmed via email that 'as of 1st April 2013, Denmark HQ changed the warranty to 5 years'.
'The 5 year warranty covers the motor and the pump for manufacturing faults only and it is a repair warranty'.
AFAI am concerned, if the motor or pump fail in first 5 years, it's a fault that caused it and would expect them to honour the warranty, otherwise it's not worth the paper it's not written on.
Hope this helps others too. Gerni website doesn't state warranty - they need to fix that.
Could be excellent, but not quite – Previously had a Bosch AquaTac cleaner - first was swapped under warranty when most of the included nozzles failed and the next burst its pump casing at the low pressure side ... ! So after much research (esp. here and after seeing someone else go through 6 'plastic' Karchers cleaning a pool) decided to try Gerni. The 130.2S offered the power… Read more
required for mould on paths and verandas, and was relatively cheap, yet had a 5 year warranty - thus hopefully avoiding my Bosch problems.
After weathering for a couple of years, the paths, courtyards and verandas were a serious test for the Gerni, but it was a pleasure to use and came through with hardly a problem. The included nozzles are very effective on pavers, tiles and concrete. I have since bought the car cleaning nozzle. Compared to the Bosch, swapping nozzles is a breeze, they all still work after several hours of use, it doesn't stop in hot weather and it hasn't blown a pump casing. Although heavy, I suspect this is because it has, as its 5 year warranty suggests, robust metal internals.
The only complaint is after the first outing, along an obstacle-free terracotta tiled veranda, I noticed the outer rubber of high pressure hose was suffering a lot of scuffs, some deep enough to show the layers below. I emailed my concerns and photos to Gerni Australia who suggested I buy the expensive heavy duty professional hose! Since I'm using it as intended, infrequently around the home, and not carelessly tugging the hose around sharp corners, I'm not sure how anyone could avoid scuffing the hose - it's far too soft. Even the old Bosch hose that I happened to keep (doesn't fit) looked new compared to the Gerni's after just one use.
Although a little anxious about wearing a hole through the high pressure hose, and it not being covered by the warranty (I'm contemplating fitting some hose risers at intervals along its length), overall I'm happy with the 130.2S - good bang per buck with a decent warranty. Just a pity about the hose.
not happy – had mine 5 yrs now, can"t count how many new pistols they collapse on a regular basis,at least 4,also seems to be a problem with not being able to release the hose from the pistols to change o ring, therefore they have to be broken to get off,as well as other breakdowns with unit, when working it is good, access to remove pressure hose from machine is… Read more
impossible,it is broken again, about every 6 months is the average, thinking to replace whole hose as might be a problem with the fitting that goes into the pistal. good when working pistal and connections, service in my area is not great
Warranty – I purchased my gerni about a year and a half ago and unfortunately, one day it stopped working. I thought I ws going to have a new gerni, but upon going down to the hardware store, the salesperson informed me that i was covered by their five year warranty and so they gave me a whole new machine free of charge. Very impressed with the service.… Read more
Stoked to have a new one because it works so well. I clean everything with this thing. Warranty, great cleaning with it, powerful It broke
Reliable, durable and powerful – After owning a cheap Bosch which was more like garden hose the Gerni is very powerful. I heard about it from car detailed in Europe who use equivalent Nilfisk (same company). It is well built and has metal pump unlike most Karchers. The weakest link in most of these equipment are the hoses etc look after those and give the unit a short breaks and it should last long time.
Very Reliable...Runs 6 hours on 35 degree days – Have had my Gerni 130.2 over 4 years now and have had no issues at all. Nothing broken or falling off. I did a bit of research before buying and decided on the Gerni over a Karcher due to the metal pump vs plastic. Have used it on 35 degree days continiously to clean 8 year old concrete with mould and sandstone caps etc. It only stopped when I… Read more
needed a cool drink!!
Low vibration and quiet to use.
Very pleased with the performance and price. Reliable, quiet, cost effective and stable No accessory extentions available for nozzle as an option to reach 2nd storey areas
Gerni 130.2s – Good cleaner and does the job - BUT the trigger piece / mechanism is all plastic and after approx 10hrs use this suffered a major failure. New trigger (G4) can be purchased for approx $50.00 plus post off Ebay, so more of an inconvenience than any thing else. Brought from Super Cheap and out of warranty when it failed. Inexpensive, works well except for the plastic trigger mechanism plastic trigger mechanism
Great cleaner, great value – I bought mine at Super Cheap Auto on sale - $399 with Patio Plus brush. First job was to clean my exposed aggregate concrete driveway with many years of dirt, black mould, etc. on it. I used Patio Plus brush & it worked like a dream - could not believe how easy was it to remove all the muck. Other supplied nozzles are great too. This unit is… Read more
powerful enough for any job around the house, but quieter then machines I used previously.
Love the long hose & long lance - much easier on my back then old Karcher.
Highly recommended. Power, long lance & hose, Easy to operate & maintain, solid construction. Patio Plus brush is fantastic. Only con is the weight, 17kgs.
Excellent – Bought the 130.2S version of this machine on sale and so also got the pulsating pressure nozzle and patio cleaner. Had this washer around three weeks and have used it for 15 hours in total. It will happily work for 3 hours at a time. Pressure is good and it cleans well. Adjustable nozzle allows low to high pressure washing of almost anything from… Read more · 1
car to concrete. Foam bottle allows application of detergent foam. 2 yr warranty. Noise is relatively low. Patio cleaner click and clean joint started leaking within 3 hours of use. It was replaced under warranty.
High pressure cleaning at a great price! – I bought my Gerni from Super Cheap, as it was on sale at a fantastic price. I purchased this machine to wash off the 4wd and the exterior of our house. The machine has more than enough pressure to take on anything I throw at it. It comes with a few basic accessories; auto nozzle (adjustable for different strengths), a cleaning nozzle and the… Read more
foaming attachment. I love the foaming attachment, just fill it up with car wash and away we go. It cleaned the 4wd up perfectly and used less water than I would normally. I have cleaned the fences off and the concrete patios and walkways effortlessly. The machine is nice and quiet too, perfect for when I want to start work early in the morning. Easy to use, solid construction, good pressure. Looking into accessories and they seem a bit expensive, though it will be worth it in the end.

Bought from Supercheap – A trap for new players, is the hose vibrates so much that it will wear a hole through itself very quickly. Budget for an outer casing. Try segments of hose or tubing (13mm) cable tied to the hose to protect it. Note also the unit is very heavy, 17+ kg. Performance is good, and fittings are good for a variety of jobs. Good range of fittings and… Read more
long carry handle. Reasonably quiet, but still need ear protection. Hose will wear a hole into itself as it vibrates on any sort of concrete of rough surface as you clean. Unit is very heavy.
Excellent – Great price. Purchased at Supercheap Auto's Millner for $399. As detailed above, removed mould with ease. Quiet operation. I used it for in excess of 2 hours with nil issues. Purchased this to clean around our tropical house, which it continues to do. I have yet to use any of the auxiliary connections, but the performance of the 130.2 has been… Read more
excellent. Excellent instruction booklet. Easy to set up. Strong pressure. Have used now in Darwin where the mould is out of control. Nozzles included made short work of 4 yrs of mould. Hose holder could have been a little better designed. This is really scraping the barrel though!
Excellent – I do not have any regrets in my decision to purchase this unit and highly recommend it to any body considering purchasing this level of water pressure cleaner. It performs as well as every bit claimed by the manufacturer. It is very easy to use and gets the cleaning done in a reasonably fast time. Bearing in mind that this is a domestic… Read more
machine it is amazing the efficiency of it's cleaning ability in terms of both water used and time spent on the job.
The turbo nozzle literally eats away almost any dirt and grime that builds up on bricks and pavers while the fan nozzle can be used for a wide variety of cleaning jobs due to it having adjustable pressure.
The detergent nozzle on this cleaner works unlike a number of pressure cleaners on the market.
It replaced a Karcher 3.140 which performed nowhere near as good as claimed by the manufacturer and suffered pump damage due to normal water deposits.
I researched both on the internet and by talking to sales people and owners. None to mention
Good – After doing a lot of research and reading a ton of reviews I Bought the Gerni over the Karcher or Ryobi presure cleaners. The others didnt have the durability or performance for the same money. But shop around prices vary a lot! My local mower shop wanted $469.00 but 10 minutes extra hunting found one for $380.00. When I called up for a price I… Read more
was told $350.00, even better! Easy to set up out of the box about 5 minutes.
Solid all round constuction.
Plenty of cleaning power.
Easy to change nozzles.
Quality internal workings and pump which make a big difference.
Foam sprayer works great.
Excellent – Very nice pressure cleaner. Bought instead of other brands due to being on sale for a great price. Works very well. Is not too noisy while running. (Can use with a bucket of water, though I have not tried this feature yet) Trigger nozzle is easy to grip and comfortable to use. Also comes with a safety off feature. Can buy other attachments at… Read more · 1
reasonable prices. Has been going well with regular use for about 1 year now. I usually use it for an hour or more at a time with no problems at all. Handle makes moving easy and it slides down out of the way if required. I would definately reccomend To anyone looking for a decent pressure cleaner at a decent price. Great instructions. Easy to use. Works very well with a high pressure. Comes with some extra attachments. Handle makes moving it around very easy. Power lead could be a bit longer. Could have designed a better holder for the high pressure hose when not in use.
