Giant Forks are disappointing – I was between a Trek Marlin 6 2022 and a Giant Talon 1 2022. Gear system and brakes almost the same. Trek has a M/L size, that was perfect for my height and price 300 less but with a spring coil. Giant was offering the new Air suspension developed by them, and as a EX loyal giant customer that has had over 4 giants on the past 10 years decided to go with the Talon 1. It has been a great improve compared with my last Giant ATX. I had big hopes for the new Fork SXC 2 developed by Giant, but It just rubbish. 4 months on and fork doesn't lock anymore. Took the shop for the warranty hopeless.

Excellent value for money entry level MTB – I purchased this as a "second" or spare bike. Its performance has exceeded my expectations. It is well equiped with disks, lockable front shocks and a smooth and accurate Shimano gear system. It feels balanced and solid on or off the road.I enjoy riding it. I am very happy with this purchase Good value, well equiped machine. Nothing obvious.
