Pretty much a font company, you can't contact anyone via phone and leave a dozen messages no one will reply, my bank has said multiple times that merchant is coming through our system as a phishing scam and my debt is automatically pulled back I've call over 20 times emailed over 30 times and no response to resolve the issue to set up a different… Read more

payment plan, instead they reported it and put a mark on my credit rating making me unable for finance in the future as a result I've called consumer affairs and credit repair Australia and neither company can get in touch with this so called company. Stay very clear of this company.

Not happy with customer service or support.unable to contact by phone as you only get a message service, leave a message and then no return calls. Emails just as bad. Asked for balance of account then when I get close to the finish date I get an email stating I owe more. I query this and get told sorry error in system. Again this keeps happening.… Read more

When your unable to speak to someone or get a proper response then it's not worth using a company like this. Not happy

pinball machine games take up 100Gb alone). So after filling in the forms, signing a few, letting them look at my bank accounts and such, they approved me for a new computer.

I was pretty surprised, as the machine was $3700+. Mind you I guard my credit rating pretty closely - I did take a 100ish point dive on my Equifax report when they credit checked me, but this is to be expected.

The payments come out automatically too, I don't have to worry about missing any, I set up a standing order to transfer the funds into the account they debit from (its a bills and direct debit account) the night before, and it comes out that morning.

I would have given them 4.5 stars but ease of applying and the quick yes or no answer (within a day for me - I forgot to tell them about my other bank account) got them the extra .5 of a star. Why only 4.5 stars to begin with? Theres not an easy online way to make additional payments. I like to pay my loans off as quick as possible.

Tomorrow I make the trip to Katoomba to hand over the old one to my friend. We both win!

Fantastic Company – Gimmie is great. I was able to get what I wanted hassle free. I applied the first day, spoke to Michael and approved on day 2 and picked up my item on day 3. Yes, I’m paying a bit more but they have to make some kind of a profit to be able to keep going. I will definitely use Gimmie again

assessment. That was Friday afternoon then I got a text saying order was placed. On Saturday I got a text from The Good Guys saying the TV would be delivered Sunday and a 2 hour window period, much better than having to sit around waiting all day . The delivery guys were good delivered inside my appartment - I've had other deliverries where they drop at ground floor of the appartment block which isn't so great for bulky items. A good experience all round.

if you have good credit use someone else – Had a previous account with Gimmie back when my salary was less and my credit score was very low (hence why we use such providers). Found the extra costing fair as compared with other local Rental companies such as radio rentals ETC. which can charge up to 3 times the price once the contract was seen through. a TV/Soundbar bundle a few weeks ago and knocked back due to affordability. Very disappointed to say the least. They do a bank account link why don't they check your statements first and then give you a call and explain why before doing a credit hit? anyway wont be recommending to anyone. Bit of sour grapes I know but anyone would think they are a tier 1 lender or something...no one with that kind of credit score needs your product they could get it elsewhere for cheaper...you are servicing middle to lower class customers with lower credit scores I would imagine so give the little guys a fair go!! P.S. got an 85" Samsung Crystal UHD DU7700 from TVSN no credit check...higher payments yes but no interest.

Rip off – Purchased a fridge from them and was lured in by the no interest advertising. Was approved for a plan that would amount to over $1300, when the invoice landed saying they were sending it from the good guys, their website said the product was $800, that's alot of no interest. They charge you higher if they deem you higher risk which is entertaining… Read more

in thought when they are setting up the financially unstable to fail from the get go. What's more interesting is how poor their system is, they ran a credit check and set me up and I didn't miss a payment, yet 2 months later I had to restart a whole new application even though they had all my details and they declined it this time after approving it. They don't have a clue what they are doing and the fridge I ordered took around 3 weeks to be delivered. Would strongly recommend against using unless absolutely desperate, which again having to wait for 3 weeks still makes that not a reasonable excuse to use. Let's see the template response they use now about being responsible lenders and such and to contact them directly for complaints.

Easy to purchase what you need, hard to get customer support – Great range of products, customer service isn’t to good though. Stuffed up my account a few times resulting in missed payments then doesn’t reply to emails. Automatic decisions make it hard for approvals and again doesn’t reply to emails.

Great service from the Gimmie team – What a great affordable way to grab items you need over 2 years of your base pay. Of course you pay more than the outright purchase price but I earn enough over two years to cover it and if you don't want to drop thousands upfront then it's great. Terrible – Sold me a television that broke down after a few weeks. Will not honour any warranty that is applicable by law. Sent endless emails to them with no reply. Return phone calls with no response. I received downgrading messages from their Facebook account last night that they subsequently deleted. Today they went as far as accusing me of threatening… Read more

messages to my partner....( read their Facebook reviews). After she asked for an apology they blocked her and removed the comment they made (She luckily screenshot the accusations so we can take this to court). Don't deal with these people. It's actually cheaper and safer to shop at Harvey Norman or similar and use Latitudepay plus. On a further note, Gimmie is lying to a third party company claiming that they rectified the situation and also spoke to me regarding their false allegations on social media..... none of this is true and they have not made good in any way whatsoever. Still not replying to any of my correspondence

01/05/2024 Still not a reply regarding the faulty items. No remedy offered but they happily make threats via email. Waiting for them to act on their threats then commence legal action against them

I received a text message after my application was processed to notify me when payment will be due, and to call them if there were any problems. than go on a plan. They advised yes, just to select the immediate payment box. So I purchased the controller at 10:33am. Then I missed a call from the company at 11:46am. So I called them back. I spoke to a girl who advised me that to receive my order she would require a copy of my licence. That I would need to send a photo of the front and back. I advised her under no circumstances would I be sending her a copy of my licence. She advised they needed it to ensure that I wasn't committing fraud. She advised that she only needed to see the licence number and that I could cover up all other details. I advised her that made absolutely no sense as how would she be able to tell that it was my licence if she couldn't see the address. I told her to cancel the order and process a refund. I then sent an email to confirm that they should cancel the order, they sent an email back advising they have told their 'accounts team' to cancel the order.
