Only works as freezer and freezer – Instructions are to set fridge box then freezer will adjust temp 0 to 6 degrees colder. However we can only set freezer side it wont let us set fridge side as per instructions. The result is both sides freeze (really well ) but its supposed to be a fridge and freezer. We need fridge side to work as a fridge which it doesnt. Works great as double freezer. Show details

Glacio 85L – Anyone who sells these are knowingly selling garbage , no control over the fridge temps and freezer is inconsistent. It is so bad I took it too the tip , unfortunately it was something I bought and didn't use till.i came back from overseas and trusting it would be fine , now no warranty . It is crap , do not buy one of these and check other reviews first. Show details

2 strikes and out – Please do not buy this fridge/freezer you will be left severly disappointed. The first night we used it on AC we realised the larger compartment was the colder one by 7 degrees, after the first night on DC it went in to E1 which is not efficient power but since we where camping we got the battery back to full but the fridge wouldn’t reset that was… Read more

the last time it worked. The replacement was sent out the first time it was used the compressor didn’t shut off so both compartments were -20. Just remember if it sounds to be good to be true it most definitely is.

Not what was advertised.....sneaky – 1. "Instruction manual" does not mention freezer and has no method to set dual boxes independently. 2. No 12v cable...Why? Luckily l had one from a Wishto 43ll fridge purchased from Mydeal 3years earlier ( now broken down)... This double unit has the same control dial configuration as that single fridge. 3. Another crowd… Read more

selling the same unit (branded differently) offers baskets,

cables, and cover bag for about the same price.

4. It would be nice if instructions were complete, written in acceptable

English, and gave technical data.

Rubbish – Purchased the 85 ltr Glacio fridge/ freezer in January 2018.I ran it on 240 volts to get the feel for its performance before installing it in our camper trailer. The freezer very quickly went down to -18 degrees in about 40 mins, very impressed, however the fridge struggled to get below 9 degrees on a day of 28 degrees and it was indoors out of… Read more

direct heat. Never the less I fitted it in the camper. Ran it on 12 volt and got bearly 12 hours out of a new 120ah battery with solar backup. The freezer was extra good but the lid sealed so tight I ended up braking the hinges when it finally flew open.

Contacted the ebay seller who was not interested in replacing it. The zipper on the insulated bag broke on the first use and I ended up replacing the hinges on the lid.

After much disappointment with the performance of the fridge side, and no replacement on the sellers behalf, I decided to cut a 40mm hole through the dividing wall to try and balance some cooling to the fridge. This worked well , but take care not to damage the coils within the wall. As we are heading off on a big trip, I had to cut my losses and purchased a Waeco for some peace of mind .

I am now parting with the Glacio 85 ltr for parts to anyone who wants to give me a few $$$

Waste of money – I purchased this dual Zone fridge freezer in January 2018 Ran it on 240 volts to get the feel for the performance. The freezer went to -18 degrees very quickly(around 30min) Fridge couldn't get below 9 degrees The ambient temperature was only 26 degrees I put it in my camper trailer to run on 12 volts, lasted about 12hours on eco mode with new… Read more

120 ah battery.

Freezer was fine until I couldnt open it due to having too much suction on seals (a good thing) until the latch broke trying to open it.

As the ebay store would not take it as a return because of the damaged catch, I decided to cut a 40mm hole between the fridge and freezer wall to try and balance the temperature a bit. This was a good fix for a while but have now decided to sell off for parts if anyone is interested.
