1 Dave  · Cheap unsafe product – Their faulty dangerous Progear bike caused injury to my son. No matter how cheap it is , your child health is more important.
5 Bernadette  · Great after sales service – The struts for my basket were missing and Lyra was most helpful. They arrived promptly and I love my new bike
1 Judith B.  · Crap – Bought a balancing bike that was the wrong size, which was not mentioned on the website. Refund policy suck and being charged extra. Unhappy customer.

The way a driver in their branded Haval drove over the Balty bridge then along the Kingsway around 2.30 this afternoon I would never go near them. Not allowing drivers to change lanes, weaving in and out of the traffic and cutting drivers off. If this is the level of professionalism they employ, hate to think how they treat potential customers. Show details

information that Global already have and still no offers to repair, replacement or refund. Looking at Fair Trading options. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY!

 Follow-up  · Finally after a lot of effort on my part got a response and parts shipped and now installation done. Such a process when brand new out the box bent arms.

Worst company to deal with, sells dodgy items and has no intention of fulfilling warranty – Poor quality, poor service and completely unwilling to provide any kind of real warranty for this products.

Terrible Company, Dont Buy From Them – I brought a trampoline HyperJump 3 from Lifespan.com.au the frame rusted out in 3yrs. On buying it came with a 10yr frame warranty. When I filed a warranty claim. They denied any responsiblity and claimed that it was 'my responsibilty' to sand and repaint any rust as considered 'general maintanence' stated in owners manual. "Total Rubbish" delivered a broken treadmill with missing parts "Avoid at all costs" – "GFL Marketplaces" is the worst company I've dealt with and LSG is the worst brand I've seen. On arrival "power cord manual bolts etc. found pieces were broken then later found out the product was anyway dead on arrival (DOA). Informed amazon and Seller and also tried to get a replacement GFL categorised the issue as cosmetic damage and refused… Read more

a refund and return the item even after saying the treadmill was missing parts and unable to use.

I've called GFL front desk directly, and GFL was very reluctant to provide an agreeable solution even after mentioning it's not usable at all (The technical team was a joke because they intentionally take so much time to reply cause of so many broken products). At one time asked me to let them know about the missing parts for the product that they sent me and marketing and selling them online, was very unprofessional and unethical in how I've been treated as a customer.

Amazon refunded me after one month after an unsuccessful attempt of an A-to-Z claim making many calls. I have put the treadmill to hard rubbish as it no use for myself or anyone.

This seller is pretty much a scam have several brands running in the same Broadmeadows location and advertising for "money back returns" Please be careful what you buy from this company, you might end up losing your money for rubbish for something someone may have already rejected.

LSG chaser 2 Treadmill Faulty Motors – We bought brand new LSG chaser 2 treadmill. Lasted 1 year, motor burning smell. They blamed on user maintenance, then sent out a new motor which only lasted 6 months with similar issues. Show details

Had issues with a treadmill which did not work out of the box. Contacted GF and they asked a couple of questions and then within the week had approved the return and resupply with a new treadmill. From issue to resolution it was handled efficiently and transparently. Due to service of Victor and Joan I would recommend them confidently. Treadmill came yesterday and is great.

Tech support, and delivery of replacement parts – Despite reading the negative reviews, I found the service and technical assistance from this company to be first rate. Although they do commercial business, mine was private, for a RC-300 recumbent exercise bike that I purchased second hand, online. Response from customer service was very good. Excellent after sales service – I bought a recumbent exercise bike, arrived and would not work, had been damaged in transit, Clarence the tech at Global Fitness responded to my problem and sent a tool and good advice on simple repairs. Easy to fix, machine is excellent and very quiet, couldn’t be happier. Show details

After having to deal with their after purchase support. I would not go anywhere near any products under their banner range. Don’t get stuck with items. No answer phones no answer emails. I had to go directly to offshore manufacturer. Who only normally deal with this care factor 0 wholesaler. There must be a shortage of good wholesaler/importers in AU.

Bought one of their cross trainers worth $1200 + 3 months in trying to replace a part - they don’t have any after sales service as such! Sent wrong parts, back and forth communication with no resolution, 6 weeks later issue not resolved. Have paid technician from own pocket who couldn’t fix due to wrong part been sent by the company. Absolutely ridiculous- do not waste your money on this company products Show details

Deceitful and poor customer service. Avoid – Sold me a treadmill in boxed condition. Then did the old "switcharoo" and said that one wasn't available only a non-boxed one was. Now I need to pay an additional $97 for delivery on-top of the $100 I already shelled out. When I refused they offered to pay half. Not a chance I'll be doing that. What sort of company operates like this? Should have looked here first by the looks of things... We'll see if I get a full refund.

Avoid at all costs - raised with ACCC – Terrible quality. Charger broke after 15 months with light usage (charged maybe 15 times total), bike was under repair for a sizeable part of 1 year warranty period. During repair, Progear did not work well with repairer and shipped unnecessary component despite repairer's request, wasting lots of time. I had to mediate between repairer and… Read more

Progear. Progear also has history of not paying the repairer for postage, which is really unethical.

Progear doesn't have a basic understanding that Australian Consumer Law guarantees are separate from warranty period and insists on strict application of 12 month warranty. Wanted to charge me $65 for a replacement charger, the exact model is literally on Alibaba for $7.

Dropped it down to $45 after I raised Australian Consumer Law. After a lot of back and forth to which the Progear rep Victor kept repeating the same warranty excuse, I said he lacks basic reading comprehension, to which he got petty and rescinded the offer.

Never dealt with a more immature brand. Case now raised with the ACCC to teach these guys their legal obligations.

FAULTY PRODUCTS and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE – We purchased a brand new threadmill LSG vulcan m2 which unfortunately has not worked since unboxing it. still does not work. Really disappointed with this product and more so no progress towards an outcome or resolution to our issue after 4 weeks of purchase.

Even if it is few hundred dollars more buy something like Nordictrack as their service would be better and definitely products wouldn’t be this unreliable

Awful, don't even consider using under any circumstances – Customer service is atrocious and even worse is the equipment they supply. Faulty equipment was sent back out, broke again within 48 hours and they are claiming it must be "user error". Already trying to claim warranty is void as it's used "commercial". Our business manager is already licking their lips at the taking legal action Show details

Disgusting service and cheap plastic – Wow it's now 5 weeks of emails and still no resolution. First it was wrong part sent, then correct parts were sent but are cheap plastic that was split and broken on arrival. Although bike is under warranty they now want $150 to send tech out to fix it. It's time to go to fair trading I think.

Faulty bike and bad service – Bought a spin bike online through Catch as I’d had no problems with my previous orders. number to call them - everything is via email. Finally, the matter was resolved, but both myself and Catch had to refer to ACC guidelines after supplier tried to charge me a restocking fee. Misleading and Deceptive – I bought a Progear Trail Dual Suspension supplied by Global Fitness and Leisure through Kogan. The pictures and description don’t match up to the supplied product. Poor product quality coupled with a slow and unhelpful customer support model – Bought the SM700 magnetic spin bike, the more expensive model, specifically for the computer display to track workout. they would collect the bike to have it investigated and fixed but want me to go to Bunnings and package up for collection (despite me explaining to them that we are under strict lockdown and unable to do so) before even providing a collection date and timeframe to fix. Modus operandi is to tire the client so they give up. Seems fair trading is now the last resort for a refund.

No response to complaint then they make false comments about me – Bought the Lifespan SM-410 Magnetic Spin bike, unfortunately the design shows a lack of thought for the end user and despite the price tag, this Spin bike has been designed for shorter narrow hip width people, has limited adjustment, the pedal crank is offset requiring the rider to twist the lower spine to use and the pedal clicks on each… Read more

rotation. Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd Trading as: Lifespan Fitness responded to our complaint with “Thank you for your feedback, we will use this to make our spin bikes better.” We continued to ask that Global Fitness address the issues we raised, they have been evasive not addressing the faults and have actively avoided resolution, the seller expects the buyer to lose the Shipping costs and lose a 15% re-stocking fee if they are not happy with the product. Then after we posted bad reviews Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd Trading as: Lifespan Fitness asked us to provide a video showing the problem.I pointed out that while a video will enable them to hear a 'click' on each crank rotation, an amateur video will however not show how much the rider needs to twist their lower spine to access the pedals, a video will not show how narrow the crank is because the hip width of the rider relative to a narrower crank is not visible, a video would show the maximum seat adjustment being reached and possibly a video could show the lower leg at a negative angle at full leg extension because the seat adjustment is not sufficient for a taller person. This bike is designed for narrow hip, shorter people and is not suitable for a majority of Australians. In response Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd Trading as: Lifespan Fitness posted untrue statements in response to reviews saying I am 'refusing' to provide videos and evidence which is not true.

My time is valuable and I have wasted enough time attempting to get a responsible response, if I take more of my time to take a professional level video Global Fitness & Leisure Pty Ltd Trading as: Lifespan Fitness will probably be no better informed. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Struggling to get a refund on a ball ($64.99) – On the 20th of July, I purchased a Cortex Strength Wall Ball on eBay! The following morning I received this message from the seller (original message);
“Thank you for shopping with Lifespan Fitness.

This is in regards to your order Wall Ball-6kg, please be advised that this is currently out of stock and will be available on November 11, 2021.… Read more

Due to this we will need to cancel your order and you may reorder after the said date. We're sorry for the inconvenience it may have brought you.

Thank you and keep safe!”

I send a reply message and requested a refund as I was happy to purchase the ball elsewhere. I received the following message from the seller (original message);

“We have lodged a case for a refund. Once we complete the process, please allow 3-5 business days for it to reflect on the same payment method you used to pay for your order.

Kind Regards,
Krish”

On that same day I received this message from eBay;

We're sorry, we couldn't complete the cancellation because the refund couldn't be processed successfully. Please contact the seller. We're sorry, we couldn't complete the cancellation because the refund couldn't be processed successfully. Please contact the seller.

Since the 21st of July, today is the 9th of August, I have sent messages to the seller to get assistance with this matter and they persist in instructing me to contact my bank. My bank has confirmed that the refund has not been received.

On the 7th of August, I contact eBay and they confirmed that the refund was never processed. Below is the message sent to me by eBay (original message);

“We just want to confirm that you haven't receive the refund for the order 13-07362-63326.  Please contact the Seller so he can help you processing the refund.”

I rang the seller this morning and the person I spoke to was unhelpful. All I am requesting from the seller is assistance in figuring out what occurred and an explanation as to why I have not received the refund I was expecting three weeks ago.

I am baffled that they continue to direct me back to my bank. I believe there is an issue on their end, and I would just like my money back!

It is concerning that it is impossible to get assistance with a $64.99 refund or at least assistance from their team in figuring out what has transpired.

I will not be shopping from them again because as a customer they have left me feeling disempowered in this situation.
